Really disappointed with the service. We don’t pay to receive a rice with so little amount of curries and to eat bones. Please don’t do this for food

If you are running on a low budget and if you want Indian food, this is the place. Food is reasonably priced and tasty. Even though they have many options in their menu, some food was not available when we asked them. They have a parking space in front of the restaurant for around ten vehicles. Overall a great place for a meal imo.

Famous for its budget localized Indian chinese food. Elite is visited by families for its wide variety. But the quality and the taste of the food is questionable. I didn't enjoy the taste and I feel with time and fame the taste has gone down which is disappointing. There is parking for about 10 vehicles. The service is decent. These days due to the pandemic there is low crowd for dining but normally it's very crowded. If you are on a low budget and want to try Indian this a OK place better to dine in than take away.

Ordered Prawn biriyani here but what i got was just some cooked yellow rice( something similar to plain biriyani) and prawn curry separately as per my knowledge that’s not the way biriyani is served and the rice was 0% taste.. just wasted my money here. and the chicken tikka which i ordered was served along with a green chutney it’s clearly visible that the green coloring is added. please don’t do these kind of cheap things to the people who comes to eat in.

I am giving a average rating for this restaurant. Their chicken buriyani is very delicious but don't take sea food rice or chicken friedrice from here. And the customer support is very bad. We have stay more than 10 or 20 minute to get their attention and the most of the drinks from.their many are not available

Food is nice. Not too much oily. Masala beef is very nice and would highly recommend. Restaurant location is very impressive both outside and interior. Overall food is worth for the value.

Today we bought two beef submarine from elite Indian restaurant mount lavinia very poor filling , packing and presented very poorly.we were so disappointed. it was of a offer package they are cheating on giving offers. No Extra sauce for french fries , not even in the filling We trust on Uber and this restaurant Uber must look of this kind of issues

Worst service ever! Placed an order and not even 2 minutes I wanted to cancel and reorder. They couldn't cancel since their having a so saying new system and if they cancel it will deducts from their own salary! When i asked for the Manager. He's on vacation! As of returned, the food was horrible! They have poured half a bottle of chilli onto the food. Never going to order from this DISGUSTING place!

We placed an order for mango milkshake and chicken biryani. And the overall impression about the order delivered is zero, chicken pieces were deep fried for several time which were hard as dry fish and tasteless. The rice was ordinary and the milkshake was made out with condensed milk with super high sugar level. Only satisfied with the bottle of pepsi we later added to the order. Never recommend for a biriyani at this place total waste of money. Really disappointed. 👎👎👎

This is a very nice place to dine in with a pleasant atmosphere and a large seating capacity. Their service this time was very quick. Portions are worth the price and each single portion is more than enough for a grown male. The chicken biriyani is absolutely delicious- served with a roasted chicken piece and a boiled egg plus a variety of chutney and gravey. Although, this time when I visited, the food was not hot. And I found that roasted chicken also has hardened due to the cold. However the dishes are really budget friendly and not expensive at all. I recommend this place for enjoying Indian dishes.

A restaurant in Mount Lavinia Sri Lanka, with a wide range of menu items to select from. Portions are good in size and worth the value. If going as a group you better order in different varieties to try different items. Frui drinks and soft drinks also available. Parking available for number of vehicles. Staff is good and helpful. Location is not very much spacious. May feel a bit congested when crowd walks in. But good atmosphere. AC and TV available

Bought a cheese kotthu 2 days ago and it was one of the terrible kotthu we ever had before.Not cooked well,no any cheese taste in it and so dry as well. Im wonder what happened to their service because we expected a much better food than this. I would leave zero stars if i could. Finally i have to say is they cheat on their own customers,really dissapointed about their service ☹️👎

Don’t buy take away orders from Elite Indian Restaurant Mt Lavenia. They are Fu*king Cheater. I bought cheese and chicken kottu which was costed RS 1220..but it was not cheese kottu normal kotthu they put 1 cheese upside of kotthu its not mix. Very disappointed. There was only few rotty pieces and lot of half cooked vegetables. No gravy was there. It was a fried vegetables with few rotty pieces and NOT A KOTTU. .Don’t waste your money and time to buy these dumb foods from this restaurant. Service are fu*k off , PHI should take action for this restaurant , Customer please read review before go to any restaurant.

We ordered chicken corn soup (480), seafood corn soup(480) and a chicken submarine (1050) which were quite affordable and quite filling as well. Both of the soups were up to the expectation loaded with corn chicken and seafood. The submarine was filled with chicken as well and the portion was big enough for a full meal. I recommend this place as an affordable and satisfying restaurant with good customer service.

I wont recommend this at all. I orderd a chicken tandoori biriyani and it was overcooked. Never recommed elite for anyone else. This only happens at mount lavinia. Everyone dont order biriyani through uber eats or pickme they send the overcooked biriyani for online orders. This was how the biriyani looked like. This was after i took food out of the box to the plate

Easy to reach this place. Is situated in middle of Mount Lavinia town. All food are very fresh and hot. Portion also very weth for cost. Food is very delicious and have attraction look. The have a large meals menu and dessert menu. Very friendly and they gave service very quick. The service is very satify. Entire dining area also beautiful. Recommended to vist and get that experience.

Great service! Great atmosphere. We went to have dinner on a typical Saturday night after a movie bcz we were craving for Indian food, which we wanted to be authentic and tasty. The customer service was beyond excellence as one of the waiters helped us with selecting the correct amount of food for our group. It didn’t even take too much time for them to prepare and serve us the food even there were more than 50 customers inside that moment. Everything was perfect down to the very last bit of the experience we had. If I might add some suggestion, please display a notice board at the entrance informing the availability of parking in the parking area as we hd to pull back out after finding out there were no slots available,which we didn’t see when entering. Others,all good 10/10. Keep up!

We had butter naan and garlic butter naan with chicken tikka masala. Chicken tikka masala is really good i really love it. It's the delicious chicken dish i had so far. Fresh lime juice is so refreshing . Food is good and delicious Service also good Really recommend this place for indian food.

It was a fun experience, amidst Covid 19, but they did take the necessary precautions and ensured we were well taken care. Prices are fair and the portions and proportionate, but I would recommend the customer service to be a tad bit better

Foods are delicious and different varieties to choose. Provide takeaways, home deliveries with Uber Eats and they have their own delivery mechanism. Car parking is available.

Hello everyone, Today I ordered a fried rice and a Naasi goreng from them and I would say the Naasi is good and there were lots of mini prawns! But the Chicken Fried rice was only with some chili paste. Therefore I wouldn’t recommend their Chicken Fried rice .

It's Sunday, and I plan to have a meal at Elite Indaian Restaurant - Mount lavinia and order a Singaporean fried rice, Naasigoorang, 1coke, and Faloouda They have a lot of varieties on the menu with categories of starters , shorba (soups), Noodles 🍜,  Tandoori and Naan Roti, submarine,  shawarma , sandwich and burgers 🍔 etc Surroundings were good and calm, a few tables were also vacant, and 2 televisions 📺  with movies on screen. Price and food are averagely good. Parking is also available with more space.

Went with bunch f friends and ordered many dishes. Biriyani and chicken fried rice was good. Sea food is a big NO for me since I felt paying 500+ for 2 prawns and few strips of squid was waste

Horrible place, extremely disappointed with the taste and portion size of the food. Had the worst possible experience ever when I ordered A chicken dish I received a paneer one, i was charged for the chicken dish nevertheless. Plus the portion size is too small and absolutely no value for money for their rice dishes. I ordered the mixed rice which should include prawns, beef and chicken according to the description of their menu item, but there was only two sad looking tiny prawns and there wasn’t any beef to be seen with little bits and pcs of chicken. Taste is horrible and the rice of that mixed rice wasn’t cooked properly. Do not order Rice dishes from this place it sucks!

In the end I was in the diarrhoea express for two days. My friend wanted to go here. Food was very spicy even though the order taker said it is not spicy. People should realize (majority of) white people can not eat spicy food by default. Service was quick because we were the only customers there. I do not think they can survive the recession created by covid19.

If you want your food tomorrow then please go today . They are giving priorities to the dining only. Time is too long even they mention the timing . If they said half an hour then you are ready to take by after 1 and half hours atleast. Very dissapointed 🙄

I have tried out this restaurant located in Mountlavinia many times. We really enjoyed their mutton Biriyani,chicken biriyani, special mix fried rice, seafood rice and lemon soda. Their rates are pretty good and food is delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have very calm environment inside the restaurant.

One of well known restaurents available in the town for delicious indian cuisines. Clean and neat place. Located too facing galle road and convenient to access and ample parking area available. Service level of the staffs too satisfactory. Highly recommended to both dine in and take away and even for families with children.

I had never dined in till earlier today, and will not return to dine in ever again either. Their food was good, as i've known for a few years now, and have taken deliveries and take away orders. Today was horrible. Absolutely regret dining in at this restaurant in Mount Lavinia. The plates were half washed. Water glasses unwashed. Cutlery unclean and full of stains. Even the waiter's tray was filthy! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while! And when i pointed it out to the waiter, he said it was not his job to clean!! What the effing hell? The only reason i was there was because both my wife and myself were extremely exhausted after 12 hour shifts and were terribly hungry. Otherwise we would have left immediately! The only reason we decided to stay back was because we knew that the food was decent. I am truly disappointed.

Very dissappinting. We ordered beef submarine and chicken submarine. Only few pieces of chicken and beef added. No onion, chillies, salads only full of ketchup. It tastes like sketch up submarine. Not worth the money. Very low quality submarine. We ordered from uber eats elite mount lavinia .😡

Not actually satisfied with the service and the food even this rate im giving because of the friendy and High level pleasant welcome and Service by Security gurd at this place . Other than that Even for a small order it takes more than 45mins to serve and taste of the food not lik earlier it was nice place to have a good indian food but actually not now. It was so hard me to find Garlic and Butter naan because didnt taste it well. And Butter chicken more like Butter Bones curry.

Food is average, service is fast, conveniently located, pretty commercial place, friendly staff.

Ordered Takeaway on 14Feb 2021 : Mixed Fried rice, Mixed Noodles, Thai vegetables noodles. Very disappointed with the quality. There was hardly any meat in the portions, needed to dive deep to find pieces.
