Stayed overnight on a business visit. Clean well maintained rooms with WiFi. Good food served in real quick time. Service very good & prompt. Close to main road & railway. Parking limited to 3 - 4 vehicles. ATM service available in walking distance.

Food is really great. Service is one of the best of the places that I've went so far. Menu gives you so many options to be selected. Totally satisfied

A decent place to stay. Food is a little over priced though. Restaurant can be a lot better with a bigger menu and shorter service time. Has got good and friendly staff. It's a decently clean and clean place. The beach is just a few meters away and hence the location is too good. Has got parking for 3-4 cars maximum. Overall a decent stay. Not too good nor bad!

We were the first guests stayed there after the renovations. The location is really nice, sea beach is stone throw away.

Lovely place to stay close to mount Lavinia beach and Dehiwela. The rooms were very clean and modern with excellent facilities overall. Most of all the staff were extremely helpful, polite and on hand for anything we needed, especially Mohan and Ravin who did a great job in making us feel welcome and ensuring our stay was comfortable. Thanks again and hope we can return someday soon.

I ordered a Nasi mix rice.Food portion was large and taste was superb aswel. Packaging was clean and well arranged. Only downside was the amount of chicken and prawns in the mix was less. However overall taken in considering the price aswel, recommend as a good tasty dish everyone should try.

I didn't go their to stay but I got a room and had a really good dinner. We had the seafood platter which was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There was a generous amount of mouth watering, juicy and flavourful heavenly seafood goodness! We also had the mixed grill platter which was just out of this world! The meat was succulent and was served hot 🔥, just the way my family and I liked it 😍💯👌. I really recommend going to tropic inn and trust me you will never regret your decision! A great place to dine and have fun with your family. Also an extremely good place for your business meetings, parties, reunions and so much more. All of this amazing stuff won't even take you a minute to call and book your fun today!

Our first stay in August 2023 was met with great experience. And we returned twice in September 2023. Great location, shops near by, friendly and very helpful staff. Manager Mr. Mohan was very attentive to our needs. Very homely place. Rooms are great. I will always return to Tropic Inn.

We checked in yesterday, were greeted by the manager Mohan who is very accommodating and let us check in early also offered us a welcome drink, place is sparkling clean, enjoying our stay as the staff is super friendly and always smiling, New years festival was so special we got to experience the 'boiling milk ritual' with the MD and the other staff. Special breakfast buffet was super delicious and so was the dinner and lunch. Thank you all the staff and specially Ravin is super nice and a great soul and consistently making sure that we are comfortable. We will definitely be coming back in future ..must visit if you are in mount lavinia.

Can’t recommend enough. Rooms are comfortable and the staff are awesome. They went above and beyond in terms of service. Mount Lavinia is in general a busy/noisy place and I’m a light sleeper, but I put the fan on in the room and slept really well (bed was super comfy). This place is great value for money. Thank you to the team, keep up the great work!!

If you're looking for a real sense of the warmth and charm of Mount Lavinia, this is the place to stay. Mohan, the manager, and his staff treat you as if you were part of their family and provide wonderful support for any need during your visit. The breakfast & dinner were excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. Our favorite thing about this place was its peaceful and gracious atmosphere. We will definitely return and stay again next time we are in Mount Lavinia.

One of the best value hotels in Colombo. Clean basic air conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms, outstanding service and excellent reasonably priced food. Very safe and homely atmosphere. Ideal for longer stays. Extremely family oriented

Worst experience ever!! Food is not worth the prize. Service is the worst!! Maybe because of the covid-19 situation but still food is so overpriced. 350ml coke was 150 LKR. If you are looking for a restaurant nearby mount beach i’d recommend loon tao or steam boat.

Mr. MOHAN Fredrick the resident manager of the tropic inn greeted us when we booked in.He was very attentive from the time we booked in till the time we checked out following a stay of four nights. It was a very pleasant stay where the whole staff of the tropical inn was very kind and looked in to all our needs.They were always pleasant, kind and courteous . Mr Frederick was a very kind patient gentleman who always looked after the comforts of the guests. He made sure that the premises were always kept clean and comfortable The Inn is situated close to the Mount Lavinia Beeach with with easy access to all other amenities a guest would expect.
