Beautiful overlook from both the parking lot and the trail. The trail is very narrow and steep. The trail looks deceptively easy and short. Bring water and and proper footwear. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever encountered at a scenic overlook and actually smelled good, no joke.

Absolutely beautiful views of the Klamath River inlet to the Pacific. Views from the coastal trail down to the ocean and the forest are all excellent too. Be aware of the Stinging Nettle plants on the trails. Wear long pants so you don’t get 24 hours of burning skin!

Windy road to the top, and when we got there we were in a cloud. BUT we hiked down to the overlook. It was somewhat steep in some areas, but it was stunning when we got there. I will say, I do a good amount of hiking and outdoorsy stuff and it was a challenging hike up the hill again. My watch said we went up 380 vertical feet to give you an idea. Well worth it though.

Lovely drive, beautiful overlook despite the fog. Decent restroom. Picnic area. Peaceful. Lots of ripe blackberries!

Almost 160 degree amazing view between river, ocean is absolutely stunning. If you're a whale watcher I'd put this on your list for certain

Great place! Although I went when there was fog, it was still beautiful. The drive up is cool with smaller roads. The parking lot is tiny, with restrooms at the end. This is a picnic table in the middle and I could hear and see a tiny bit of the water below. There are also some panels with info on local wildlife.

Took a nice uphill walk from the Requa Inn and captured some great photos. There is a restroom and ample parking for 10-12? Cars

The Overlook has great views of the ocean and the mouth of the Klamath River. It can be foggy and cool with windy conditions on certain days. A number of interpretive panels on whale watching, marine mammals, and the Klamath section of the Coastal Trial are at viewpoint near the small parking lot. You will find a steep trail down the bluff on a narrow path to a lower viewing platform, but the view is about the same as from the top. Located on the Requena Road exit of Hwy 101, North of the Klamath Bridge on a winding road. A place people stop to see whales, view amazing sunsets over the ocean with a restroom and picnic tables.

What a view!! Phenomenal! When you and driving by 101, you come across this small road that navigation asks you to take for the overlook. The road is not well maintained so you continue slowly. Then the road barrier are no longer present and you see the sheer cliff but you continue cautiously and then the road turns left and you get this majestic view of the Klamath river that makes it totally worth it. There are 2 pit restrooms up there and a small hike to get to the overlook although the parking area has a great view as well.
