Moti Mahal delux , the branch at malcha marg is in the foodies Haven . This malcha marg shopping complex in diplomatic enclave is full of excellent eating places and moti Mahal is one. Offering the traditional Indian cuisine (read moghlai and tandoori). The restaurant earlier was next to Sana dige. Has gone behind that. The climb is up a steep flight of stairs (avoidable for old, infirm and creaky joints). The decor is mundane with the walls needing some quick distemper. Ignoring the ambience, concentrating on the food - you'll yearn for more . The dal makhani and the boneless shredded butter chicken are signature . The kasturi murg tikka (serves 8 pcs) is also lovely. The rotis, naans are crisp, hit and fresh with just thee right proportion of butter . The garlic naan is superb and one throws caution to all diet and restrictions once you indulge. Overall it's a good food experience and also not heavy on the pocket . Affordable and exquisite

One of the best food had in my entire life really awesome this is a fantastic place for non vegetarian and vegetarian north Indian food. We usually go to murthal to eat authentic food like this but needed something close by and this was perfect. This was recommended by my father who said this place was very popular when he was young. We expected them to be slow because that was my mom's experience last time but they were quick, friendly, and told us about having the ability to request specialty custom dishes in the future. My recommendation would be to keep working on the ambiance of the restaurant to be more lively. My favorite dish was their shahi paneer.

Very poor restaurant I ate during my entire trip in Delhi. Food is decent but price is exorbitantly high. Half Butter Chicken is 750Rs but the dish is good and nothing to rave about. Ordered a Sprite tin can where the MRP is Rs.45 but was billed for Rs.200. When asked for it there were adamant that that is how they charge. ********Avoid this restaurant at all cost******

North Indian restaurant in the heart of Delhi, serving to elite Diplomatic community as well. The food is good and been all time favourite for whole family. They provide food as per the liking and taste. The ambience is nice, however a little congested. The staff is courteous and provide warm care with a smile. Overall a great experience to be.

The food is well cooked. The half butter chicken would be enough for 2 people.

Multi Cuisine Veg & Non Veg Restaurant located in posh area in Chanakyapuri ,New Delhi . Service - Good, Fast👍 Ambience - Good and chilling AC 😄👍 Food Taste - 👎 Price - $$$👎 My Experience😪: Few tables and congested sitting place. Too costly when compared the Ambience , food and service Ordered chicken Boneless Briyani for 600 + taxes, It was presented well but not so Great in taste when compared with cost of dish and hotel didn't even serve Raita with it, you need to order separately. Taste of Briyani was just too much spicy, lots & lots whole spices , no real taste of chicken as well, No Chicken masala in the rice (dry). With every bite I had to sip water. Chicken pieces were soft and ok. Quantity was good for 1 person. Food was not at all worth that cost. Veg Raita - Was good with thick Curd and Vegetable in it. Chicken Briyani is big no ❌

This was a completely chance encounter! We were actually headed to some other place which was shut and were extremely hungry and this was the closest place we could see on our Google map! But I’m glad the other place was shut! Moti mahal was like an oasis in the dessert that serves superb North Indian food like nobody else! Their staff which I assume is quite old fed us with so much love!! Unfortunately we were so hungry, couldn’t take pictures of the food we ate!😅 Would recommend their butter chicken and naan and sweet lassi! The portion sizes were great and absolutely worth the price!

The service was very prompt and quick. We had very limited time to have our lunch and they ensured we were served promptly. The suggestions were good and meaningful. The dal makhni and mix veg we tried were awesome.

Running a restaurant on legacy works, however it loses repeat customers. The original Moti Mahal at Daryaganj was iconic, however now through the franchise model, many of them have come up across the city. They definitely need to improve the quality and taste of food. Various kebabs were either bland or too spicy, tandoori chicken was not well marinated and was undercooked. The breads at places were too thick and not cooked well. Yes Dal Makhni, Yellow Dal Tadka and butter chicken were just about made the mark.

Moti Mahal Delux (MMD) has always been my favourite. I just love their Mughlai preparations. This is a decent fine dining restaurant located right opposite Macha Marg Parking Lot. They have happy hours in case you care for cheap drinks early in the evening. The staff is courteous. Menu has a wide variety of choices. My personal favourite are Murgh Masallam and Stuff Chicken Leg Pieces.

Not the best place to invite anyone for a business meeting. Stuff like to act funny(some of them at least). They claim there butter chicken is there speciality, but its like any other.

Awesome food and and top class service they provide to their customers, but also they charged 10% service charges. As according to the Supreme court no one restaurant force to the customer to pay service charges, but they did it.

Nice place for dining. The restaurant's ambience was good and there was a seperate place to smoke also. Food was nice. As per the locality, price was neither cheaper nor costlier. But they would compensate it with the quantity, which was large. Butter chicken and Afghani are the specialities of restaurant.

Food isn't great per the prices. You would imagine that per their advertisement, they would have good butter chicken but you'd be disappointed. We ordered half a portion and the chicken was boiled rather than a tikka. Garlic naan was too thick to be eaten and the rice felt old and just re-heated to be served. The only good thing was the Kasturi kebab in the appetizer. This place only charges per their location of being in a very posh locality of Delhi and has no taste to offer. The decor of the place is below average.

The worst staff and hospitality by moti mahal ever. Manager was shouting on staff. It took more than 50 minutes to get the food. Took more than half hour to get cheque. Food is good but with everything else happening in this

We had ordered a chicken biryani and what we got was some coloured half cooked rice with absolutely no taste or semblance of a biryani. We have had to recook the biryani because it tastes absolutely uncooked
