I went there with a couple of friends, I'm Indonesian and the other are europeans. We are utterly dumbfounded with the food, it was really good! For the amount and quality, the price is reasonable. They also have some places to sit outside for dine-in.

Traditional Indo food. Host is very friendly and helpful, good English, thought. Interior is special, but feels like island of Indonesian culture and spirit in Netherlands. Food is good - if you like Indonesian cuisine. Stuff will tell you about each kind of food and you can try. Worth to try chicken cashew! Children really liked the noodles. Ginger tea was so right in cold weather! Price is average or even less than average.

🤩 really tasty 🤤 we picked up the Gado Gado and Rijstafel special after the World Cup game to eat it in our hotel. This was wonderful. Spicy really means spicy and flavors were great. Just here for couple days, but I will try to go to Da Javaan once again before leaving 🤞🏾

By far the most authentic Indonesian cuisine I've come across in Europe. Might appear a bit pricey for some at first, however, for the quality and authenticity one gets, prices are very fair. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent. They spoke good English and were very helpful. Dish and drink (see picture) were about 12€, which was a bit more than I was expecting but still good (the dish is very big). A tip: if they tell you something is spicy, they mean it! (I do recommend trying the spicy beef, though, it was delicious).

It was the most delicious Indonesian dish I've ever had. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. The place is unique and special. They have only 6 seats. We want to go again as soon as possible!

Joy on a plate ✨️ Hands down the best Indonesian food in NL in my view with plenty of delicious vegetarian options. Seating is only outdoors, which is the only drawback. Staff are warm, kind and attentive.

First time for me to enter in this tiny warm and friendly Indonesian restaurant ! You have to visit it, talk and taste the food. Amazing variety and taste. I am really thankful for this kind moment. I understand now why it’s so popular and you have to wait in the queue… No secret 🤷🏻‍♂️😜

This place is a gem. We were looking for good Indonesian food in a city we don’t know well and were lucky to stumble upon it. Great, charming atmosphere, lovely staff, and absolutely delcious food.
