Amazing food, the service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We enjoyed all the dishes, but especially the seafood was excellent. The restaurant is located in a nice, calm street and it’s accessible by walking from the center of The Hague. Would 100% recommend!

The Côte de Boeuf is a MUST! This was our second summer in Den Haag and this is on the top of my list. The team at Walter Benedict are attentive and welcoming. The entire experience is always a treat.

This place is a bit pricy and the portions aren’t very large. Heads up, their avocado toast contains a large amount of garlic, which is not listed on the menu as an ingredient. However I would give them 5 stars for atmosphere and amazing customer service!

Walter Benedict is one of the best places to go for breakfast or lunch in The Hague! The restaurant is very well decorated and the staff is very friendly. The menu offers loads of different options and the prices are okay. We felt that the food tasted very good. Personally I ordered the eggs royale wich is my favorite breakfast dish. Although it was good, for me personnally the holandaise sauce was a bit to sour. Because of the sauerness it is hard to taste the smoked salmon.

A favorite in Denweg. Staff is great, the food is delicious and even sitting at the bar, you can enjoy a good food experience. The pancakes w/bacon are exquisite. A must-have!

The mood of this restaurant is nice and staff nice and friendly. The menu is vert nice also. Great wines and the desert to die for. We ordered the salmon and scallops as a starter and it was delicious. Both of us took the poussin and it was also delicious . We will come back for sure and next time for lunch. We will recommend this place !

It's such a lovely place for breakfast or brunch ! Everyone was nice and the food was good. Best thing was the apple pie! That's a must if you are visiting;)

Nice and cozy place. It was my first time in The Hague, I had an appointment and had some time before. Usually it is neceysary to reserve, but due to the help of cute waitress I managed to grab a table for one before reservation. Eggs Benedict are good, and they serve real Chmomile tea. I totally recommend this place.

Nice and cozy place in Den Haag for coffee or brunch/lunch. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and the avocado toast and both were delicious! Also the staff is very friendly and polite.

Very good. I had the avocado toast and my husband the eggs Benedict. Both were very good and coffee was great also. Service was on point. Would definitely come back. Edit: I’m going to double down on this review. The burger here is AMAZING. Perfectly executed in every aspect. I think I’m just coming back to try every item on the menu at this point.

Sweet place. Very, very good food. We had Eggs Benedict and Croque Monsieur which were scrumptious and absolutely filling even though we were very hungry. Helpful easygoing staff.

The best breakfast I ever had. The Avocado Toast with poached eggs and Sriracha sauce was just perfect. Crusty bread as the base. Delicious and a bit spicy. Besides the French fries completed the meal :) The Cappuccino with oat drink was also great. We all really liked the tasty cookie besides the coffee drinks.

What a wonderful restaurant? I would put 10 stars! Cool rustic chic interior and hospitable service. The food was fantastic (seasonal products, cooked to perfection). We had a lovely dinner and we will soon return for brunch! p.s.. we were so happy that our dog was allowed inside. She was also offered water and she enjoyed people watching.

Omg this place is the absolute the best brunch place I have been so far. All dishes we ate were good, the service was very friendly and gave us good advice on what to eat! I love to go to those restaurants.

The egg benedict did not disappoint. They were cooked beautifully matched with balanced hollaindase sauce. The bread was alright. Aside from the outdoor seatings in front of the restaurant, they also have a small terrace tucked at the back. Probably it was the end of busy afternoon shift, but the staff could be a little bit more attentive, because we had to wait quite a while to place our orders. Other than that, it was an excellent visit.

One of my favourite sports as a brunch lover. The location is magical and the ambiance of the place is very rustic and aesthetically pleasing. During sunny days, sitting outdoors also looks like an amazing choice, but I’m so in love with the interior that I always select to sit inside. The food is veeery tasty and the portions not only reflect prices, but also leave you full and happy. Me and my friend had the eggs royale which in the reviews seemed popular and the sourdough with the truffle and carpaccio, which was heavenly. I also had a glass of Chardonnay which was full of aroma. Our waitress was amazing, chatty and very helpful. Overall my experience was incredible, especially because I am having a hard time finding a place in The Hague that suits my tastes as a non-Dutch. Walter Benedict is definitely one of the places I will be definitely visiting and suggesting to others as well. The only downside, is that another friend that was with us has allergy to peanuts and they use peanut oil. As a result she couldn’t eat anything which is of course something that is uncontrollable from Walter’s side, so no hard feelings.

Very nice and cosy place on denneweg. Had a couple of drinks with colleagues there, it's a nice place to unwind. The staff is very nice and the selection is amazing. Another time, I also had a meal in the evening on their terrace, lovely vegetarian options and wine.

The staff is nice and the place very cozy, so I understand they don't take reservations on weekends as its packed always. Anyhow, we were really lucky to get a table right after we got there (couple, larger groups idk). Food wise, I have to admit I had higher expectations. I had the florentine benedict eggs, which were good, unfortunately too much hollandaise on them. After that, I had the steak tartar, really tasty, although, more bread would be welcomed. My girlfriend had the pancakes, and according to her they were too sweet, but still good. Bottomline, nice atmosphere, good food no spectacular though, with reasonable prices for the location. I really like that the brunch menu is available until 4pm, so in case you crave for it but in the afternoon, you can get it. Looking forward to being here again!

Went here for brunch with a friend and food was delicious. Service was quick and super friendly. Great ambience too :) I believe you can sit at the terrace during summer time. Would recommend the eggs benedict!

It was our last meal in Den Haag. We had no time to eat something that take time to cook so we stop there. The eggs were cooked as they should. Very crowded and the service was good, but not so friendly after we said we are from romania :) or at least that s how we felt

My favorite brunch place in The Hague! Love love love the blueberry pancakes and a glass of rosé from Provence :D Only downside, due to its success, it is hard to get a spot on typical brunch mornings, as it is full, no possibility to reserve...but maybe since corona not anymore?

Wonderful food, it’s definitely worth to try the steak tartare with a good glass of red wine. Friendly atmosphere and attentive staff , definitely 5 stars!

4€ for a cappuccino is way too much. Got the Florentine eggs and honestly for a brunch place you can expect good eggs but the poached eggs were not well cooked. Pancakes were ok but mines are better. Too expensive for what it is wouldn’t recommend

Was met with amazing service upon arrival. Staff were friendly and food was served very quickly as I had made it clear I was in a rush. Brunch choices were excellent. Pancakes were fresh and fluffy which made for a perfect start to the day. Eggs royale was also great. Hollandaise sauce was creamy and not too rich. And they did not skimp out on the smoked salmon. Mimosa was the only thing that was lacking slightly. Champagne to OJ ratio was off. Overall great place in a wonderful location.

We have been here twice and will definitely revisit! You should definitely try the Eggs Royale and the Blueberry Pancakes.
