Hot Buns Cafe is very accessible by being close to Den Haag HS station. We are so happy to have had authentic Beijing Cuisine in a cozy environment. Noodles are handmade, meat is fresh, and the owner is friendly. We really enjoyed it!

This is, without a doubt, my favorite new place in The Hague! Not only does the place look amazing, but the coffee is also delicious, and the food is extremely tasty and comforting. In addition to that, the people are extremely nice and friendly, and really know what they are doing! I can't recommend this place enough, try it :)

Light and balanced zhajiangmian, with homemade noodles. Had tea and coffee mixed drink which i haven't seen before, quite nice. The staff were friendly and passionate about the food.

We enjoyed our hotpot! It is delicious! However, we also felt the portion of the food is really small. 6.5 euros for a plate that has little things in it.

Perfect Beijing Tongguo hotpot! We were so glad to find this local hidden gem and enjoy the dinner there. The meat quality was fabulous and sesame dipping source brought me back to Beijing. Highly recommended!

A true reminiscent of my childhood in Beijing! The taste of soup is so authentic! The lamb is so sweet and fresh! The overall experience is so faithful to that of Beijing! Service is good and the food, tantalising. The homemade plum juice is just remarkable. Definitely the best experience of Beijing hot pot here. A really distinguishable experience among the hot pot here in EU. Like home.

I would like to recommend Hot buns if you’re into Beijing food or simply just looking for high-quality drinks! I went there specifically for the traditional Beijing hotpot (as you can see the pot is different from what we usually see in other places and these pots use coal as heat source) and the quality of the food was just beyond my expectations. You also find friendly service here. I’m really looking forward to trying other food at Hot Buns! :)

Amazing one-of-its-own-kind Beijing-style hotpot in the Netherlands! Yin/yang pot serves both umami and numbing-spicy at the same time, strongly recommended. (Tips: booking is needed for at least two days ahead.) Also the jianbing (Chinese savory pancake) is its signature dish here. Eggy, cripsy, nutty, crunchy, tender, it all makes multidimensional texture and combinations of palate sensations. Overall definitely worth traveling to take the bite.

Located on the way from HS to city center, easy to grab a coffee or ice tea on the way to shopping. The vibe in the cafe is chill and the decorations bring me back to Beijing. We tried it so many times here and were never disappointed. We also tried the Beijing black bean paste noodles here, the taste brings back memories of Beijing. All the drinks and food are highly recommended!👍🏼

Super lovely family run cafe! The food is freshly made and the noodles are absolutely amazing. I had the beef soup and the beef was stewed which made it super tender. For sure worth a visit. It is a little bit pricy compared to other places (therefore I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5)- the food was excellent. I am excited to go back and try more things from their menu.

Really good food, the owner was friendly, their buns are homemade also noodle (will definitely try next time)! The place was clean and nice too. When we were arrived (it was 12:22), they haven’t opened yet (so we wait couple mins). But here they said they open at 11am. I hope they will update the exact opening time, so people won’t disappointed or confused 😊

Good was fresh and delicious! Everything was halal as well and there were many vegetarian options too. On top of that the owner (?) was friendly and was honest about the big portion size to avoid ordering too much. Big thumbs up to the service👍

Went to grab lunch here with my sister and the food and service was amazing! Owner is super friendly and attentive and gave great recommandations and explanations about the beverages and food. The hand made noodles had a great bite and the flavours of every dish were very tasty. I will come back to try other drinks and dishes as they have a wide selection. 100% recommend coming here!

Really good food in a great location! I tried the charshu bao and the apple pie bao. Both were very good and the second one (a sweet version of a bao) is a really good idea from them, a perfect dessert :)

Lovely new cafe with surprisingly good Bao buns. Never had one before and love them now. The coffee and black sesame latte were also very good. The owner and staff are super welcoming and friendly.

A unique and worthwhile addition for the neighborhood, including Chinatown! The food is Beijing style with a modern touch, and it's very tasty. The noodles and bao are handmade and everything is super fresh. People here are very friendly and helpful. Also, one of the owners is a graphic designer and it shows: she made the entire place look great. Highly recommended.

A very nice place with an unique atmosphere, in my opinion one of there few genuine places to serve hotpot, which comes in huge portions, and for a decent price. Don't forget to try some authentic drinks from China! And the staff was really amazing too!

My second time at this humble place. They serve fresh halal Chinese cuisine (bonus points because it’s hard to find halal Chinese food). Every thing is freshly made. Had their Beijing Style Copper Hotpot earlier (took the tomato Thai & mushroom broth), it was so goood!! You have to book it in advance cause they prepare the meat fresh. We had Beef & Lamb Slices with garlic oil and had rounds of those for the hotpot. My friends and I also ordered the century egg for starter, it was my first time trying and it’s definitely an exquisite taste. I love it! One more thing, if you’re ordering drinks, please get the homemade plum drink. You will thank me later. I will be back for more to try other items. Keep up the good work and service!

I came to Hot Buns for their famous Beijing hot pot and had an amazing time! The ingredients were fresh and prepared to order - veggies, delicious handmade noodles, thinly sliced meats and fish! We got half spicy and half not spicy broth, which was perfect to share for the group. We ended with some delicious deserts and tried their iced black sesame and matcha lattes which were so tasty. The atmosphere is cozy, and the owner Lily is so friendly. Would recommend to anyone who loves hot pot!
