It was one of the worst experiences of my life as they accepted my money and told me at 1am at night that they were full and to go somewhere else

Friendly staff but so incredibly old that the price surprised us.

Couldn't reach the hotel due to roadblock. Staff was rude in their approach and not willing to find a solution. We had to search for another hotel despite the reservation. Fletcher stalked me with the bill for months and threatened us with lawyers. Fletcher will never have us as guests again.

It's definitely not 4* hotel. Rooms are dirty, hair dryers broken, walls and furniture - dirty. There was no bottled water in rooms as it should be in hotel especially when it's written tak it is 4*hotel. No shampoo, non climatization. I won't choose that hotel again.

I am going to start with the positives. The staff is really nice, the breakfast is decent but not as diverse as you would expect from a 4 star hotel and the bed is comfortable. Now the negatives. This is advertised as a 4 star hotel. We had no slippers, no iron for clothes, no robe, the carpet in the room had a lot of stains and there was a leak in the bathroom and little drops of water poured from the ceiling. I would not say that this is a 4 star hotel but rather a 2 star hotel at best. Personally I would not come back here.

Within 1st hour after arrival. Got locked out of the room, and key card mechanism in the door didn't work. Had to wait for a handy man to fix it. This hotel would be so much more cosy and nice after some renovations. After that, it was peaceful sailing ✌️

The best thing about this place is good location - it's quiet but still not so far away from the city center - and very friendly staff. As everyone has said, the hotel definitely has its good days behind. Value for money would be okay but... please, look closer at the cleanliness. There were dust everywhere, rugs were not thoroughly dusted, curtains torn. But most important, due to healthy reasons, look at the ventilation of bathrooms. It seemed that there is fungus on the walls.

Very bad experience. The hotel couldn't manage the booking reservations properly and I slept there one night (expecting to be able to sleep 3 more as my reservation was set). When came back for second night, they had put all my personal belongings in the reception saying I couldn't stay there because the reservation was not valid.... Besides that, this hotel says it has 4 stars but i don't know where. It looks like a 2 star hotel. Very old rooms, the toilet is really cold, in general very old and not well maintained hotel.

Their rooms need an upgrade but the staff and location is good.

Quiet neighborhood, rooms are fine, service is okay, not the best hotel in the world but cannot complain about anything specifically, so if you're on a budget it's a good choice

Good location for beach/bars/restaurants/town. Room 501 Dirty carpets (chewing gum in carpet). Bad cleaning - Previous guests long black hairs everywhere. Thin walls - a storm kept us awake all night and windows rattle, can hear birds walking on the roof. Terrible pillows. One positive, the jacuzzi bath was hot and worked well.

Poor customer service on arrival (barely got a hello), dated and worn common areas, rooms were dated/furniture scuffed, carpets haven’t been cleaned since they were fitted, bed was 2 singles pushed together and a thin mattress pad instead of a proper mattress, curtain partially off the rail. But at least my room was semi clean (just don’t look too closely!), heard another guest getting frustrated because they’d been given 2 unclean rooms… 3rd times the charm I guess!

Good location, a decent hotel with reasonable pricing. Spacious rooms, a bit old, but overall, good value for the money.

Friendly staff, rooms have seen their best years, but at least it's clean. Room can be cold, but it's possible to turn up the heat. All in all, not a bad hotel at that price.

Great experience! Polite staff, nice room, daily suplement of coffee/cream. Excellent location - good connection with the piblic transport but also perfectly positioned in the middle between the Scheveningen beach and the city center. I enjoyed my stay!

Very helpful reception attendant. Cheap accommodations. Restaurant off limits. No room service. No breakfast. Dirty carpet's throughout. Hotel is located in very nice neighborhood. Surrounded by beautiful architecture. City center of Den Haag 15 minutes of walking.

Pleasantly surprised. Staff was nice enough to keep our luggage while we explored the city. Also had a nice vibe while checking in. Had fun joking around a little. Rooms were pretty big with a table, desk, big bed and a lovely bathroom. The carpet had some stains and the curtains had some rips but over all not bad at all.

Dirty, our room was open after go back to the hotel even when we closed, smelled like cigarettes even when don’t smoke the worst hotel

The hotel is ok but the staff is a bit messy. Had some special beers and due to being a little over date some were offered. At the end the staff wanted to charge them anyway suddenly being forgotten that they were over the selling date and offered. Really? Who was really drunk then? The staff 😂😂😂

We had a nice, clean and quite room. The welcome was nice. It was within walking distance to the Museum Sophiahof. Breakfast was good to. A great place to stay!

Friendly staff but the rooms are a disgrace. Dirty carpets, moulds from the inner wall end up in the bathtub, bad bed with a hole, loud refrigerator and outside noise through the window vents. Please don't go here. Disgrace for the name of Fletcher.

Good choice but small parking.

For this money, choose a better stay. Got the stay with a great reduction but still had to pay €5 pp for a weekend stay. While booking, I had to pay for 2 so I figured, I'll handle that when checking in. The man didn't want to hear a thing, told me I could mail guest services but would get the same answer. So not a friendly welcome. The hallway smelled like dog. The bathroom smelled like a hair salon. Stains in the carpet, closet doors were bent, two single matrasses which were a bit seperated so when sleeping, you ended up in the midle with no way out. Breakfast is hella expensive so I suggest going down the street towards Vredespaleis and sit down at Blossom. They have an amazing breakfast selection! I would not stay here again but rather go to a van der Valk or NH a bit further away.

tiny hotel. you have to book a parking spot they don't serve dinners. super dirty carpets.
