The Passage is a historic shopping arcade located in the heart of The Hague. Built in 1885, it is one of the oldest shopping centers in Europe and has been beautifully preserved over the years. The architecture of The Passage is stunning, with its glass roof and intricate details that transport you back to another era. It's not just a place for shopping but also an attraction for tourists who want to experience some history while exploring The Hague. Inside, there are many high-end shops selling luxury goods such as jewelry, clothing and accessories from well-known brands. There are also several cafes where you can take a break from your shopping or enjoy lunch or tea time treats . One thing that sets The Passage apart from other malls or arcades is its unique atmosphere which combines both modernity & tradition . It's perfect for those looking for something different than typical mall experiences! Overall ,The Passage offers visitors an unforgettable experience with its beautiful architecture ,luxury stores & cozy cafes making it one of must-visit places when visiting The Hague!

Do not pass the Passage, just enjoy yourself to be a part of unique 135 years old historical shopping centre in Den Haag. Visit official website for detailed information. We simply flashed back in time with magnificent arcade view above your head, still surrounded by the reality of Apple store, VANS, Jury, cozy cafeterias and nice people around.

Nice place for breakfast and lunch. I had bourito with chicken was really tasty the portion was big! My friends ate burgers and they were satisfied as well. I would go again so I recommend. You can find homemade cakes as well , although we didn't try.

One of my favorite lunch places in The Hague by far! I've never been disappointed here - been coming regularly for 4 years. They have a wide range of choices so there's really something for everyone. Pictured is the chicken clubsandwich (usually comes with crisps) and the enchiladas (both delicious!). Coffee is great too. It's super cozy and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this place!

This is a beautiful tranquil gem in the centre - the glass topped roof is a showstopper and the beautiful granite mosaic floor is a marvel. The shops are all interesting and the variety of restaurants are pleasing.

Good regular coffee, but the Irish coffee was tiny and didn’t taste like anything special. The dessert was frozen, and the poffertjes portion was tiny and disturbingly sweet.

A lovely passage to visit. Multiple entrances and many different shops. An Apple store, few art galleries, clothing, bars and lingerie shops. Decorations and bookstore. You name it. On Saturday you can play chess against whom ever you like. A must see if you visit , nice architecture and well maintained. Clean and middle of the city centre.

The passage looks fantastic. It has several shops but what I found interesting was the long glass ceiling. It is quite impressive and mesmerizing to look at. Highly recommend a visit to see it.

Beautiful mall with all the luxury and other high end stores for clothes, shoes, bags and more with cafes and restaurants as you would find all across the Netherlands and most of the Europe. The mall is really beautiful and even if you are not up for shopping, you must visit this place just to see the beauty of its architecture.

(Translated by Google) Great place to shop. I can't get this song out of my head anyway. I've been singing this song all along with my two sons, Lucas and Maarten. We are on our way to the airport to visit Lucas and Maarten's father in Paris. Lucas doesn't mind walking. But Maarten, on the other hand, keeps on nagging. "Mom are we almost there now?" Maarten asks. In the meantime I am looking for cookies in my bag so that Maarten stops talking. “Yes dear, we are almost there” I say. We were still home two hours ago. I was busy packing the bags for this trip, luckily this was possible in peace, because Lucas and Maarten were still in bed. They don't yet know why we are visiting their father, I want to keep it that way until the last moment. While I pack my bags, Guus Meeuwis' song "Brabant" is on replay. After half an hour I finish packing and wake the children. They have no idea we're leaving. First I let them prepare with the thoughts that they have to go to school. Once got into the car Lucas asks “Mom, since when are we going to school by car? We always walk, right? ”. “Yes” I say, “but today we are not going to school, we are going to daddy!”. It is quiet for a while in the back of the car. Maarten starts cheering because he wanted to go to his father for so long. But Lucas remains silent. We are almost at the airport, but then the band suddenly breaks. While calling the roadside assistance, I pack my bags and take the children along the highway. I know this is not allowed, but we must save our flight. There we walk along a highway, on the way to the airport. Lucas starts singing out of nowhere, and soon Maarten and I join in, “and I am walking alone in a city that is too quiet, I have never really felt homesick. Yes lalala la la la lala ”. Maarten is full of the cookies I gave him, but asks again “mommy are we there already?”. And just at that moment I see the airport slowly approaching, “yes Maarten we are finally there”. We have just caught our flight and are coming on board. "Mom, why are we going to see Dad all of a sudden?" Lucas asks. I knew this question would come sooner or later, so I prepared to answer it. “Uhm, well guys ..” I mumble “Daddy had an accident yesterday, so we're going to visit him in the hospital now. But it will all be fine, I spoke to the sister yesterday and she even said that Daddy has a huge surprise for us ”. We lopen toch altijd?”.

I’ve visited this place several times already. It’s a nice place to grab something nice to eat and/or drink. The crew is friendly and attentive. The quality, quantity and overall taste of the food and drinks is really good! Everything is tasteful and the vibe is great! The club sandwich is highly recommended, it tastes so good! The food portions are nice and not too large. And to end it all with a bang, make sure to order one of the Italian desserts (I personally love the Tartufo Bianco!). Definitely worth a return visit! I sincerely hope that you like the place as much as I do.

Good place to drink and eat. Good service, friendly. A tad above average prices, but easily explained bc of location, which is dead centre of the Hague, so good enough. My cafe latte was piping hot, just how I like it. It is cramped and often crowded. We came in with a baby stroller, there is only one spot where you can sit with a stroller really (next to the staircase) and we were lucky this time.
