Otra Vez Cantina was good! I went during lunch and it seemed like a popular lunch spot for local business employees. They have a good selection on the menu and they have a specialty in street tacos. They were good— not necessarily out of this world. If you are at the 16th Street Mall, it would be worth a stop in, but if you are going to Denver and looking for Mexican food, I would recommend La Loma over Otra Vez Cantina. Just my opinion! Still good food, though! Enjoy!

Got a seat at the bar and had a great time. Very attentive bar staff, great food, music was just the right volume, vibe was awesome. Chips and salsa are great, definitely took food home. Fajitas and Enchiladas were worth getting again!

The service is great here. Olivia was our waitress and she was phenomenal. The food however wasn't very good. The presentation made it look good but it was bland and had flavor. The cocktails were good. We would probably go back, but just for a drink.

Oh my. I’m from Colorado, but I live in Texas. Tex-Mex is a bit of a religion down there. This was a very pleasant surprise. First off- chips and salsa were good. Wish they had thinner chips, but nice heat on the salsa. Then, this is the “Al Pastor grilled burrito” and it is amazing. Spicy. Delicious. Packed with meat. Poblano sauce vibrant and flavorful. Highly recommend you eat here if you need some spice. I’ll be back.

Super fun Tequila bar. Bartenders were awesome. I was the only Gin drinker in our group but these guys did an amazing job. It was crazy busy on the patio behind us and they were slinging drinks faster than I've ever seen. We didnt order food but the food we did see get ordered was fast and nobody had any complaints!

Food was on point. Great green chili sauce. Spicy margarita was perfect. But are bartender/server.... home boy was working this woman hard. Food orders and making drinks took a bit. He was a bit distracted trying to work his lame game. 100% recommend, maybe don't sit at the bar.

Beautiful restaurant. Most of the tables weren’t used (assuming they were short staffed) but there was about a 40 minute wait on Taco Tuesday unless you went to the bar. Taco Tuesday has $1 off tacos and $5 house margaritas. The bar was extremely busy, every seat was taken, and the bartenders did what they could and worked so hard. We got queso but no chips and had to wait for chips for about 20 minutes. The margaritas were extremely tart with way too much mix. Their coin margarita is great. I recommend spending the extra $ for a better marg. Don’t think it won’t be busy on a weekday, it will be!

Somewhat of a tourist trap but pretty good happy hour specials. I tried out the margarita and two different tacos. Tacos were extremely large but not amazing and the margarita was ok at best. Willing to give it another go to hopefully earn a few more stars!

Great atmosphere and decor! Food and drinks were amazing! The jalapeño cucumber margarita with a tajín rim was just the right amount of spicy. We also got the kiwi margarita and it was delicious. Chili lime chicken taco and honey glazed pork taco were both fantastic. Also recommend the queso fundido. Will definitely be back!

I asked for the barkeeps recommendation from the menu. Took his suggestion of Panchos Enchiladas and could not be happier. Nice smokey flavor, excellent sauce. Chips and salsa were free, which was unexpected, and they were both amazing. As a bonus, the military discount was 25%. Definitely recommend.

Ordered the street tacos off the happy hour menu and washed it down with a mojito. The tacos were really good. The place has a nice vibe with a long bar that allows for a lot of seating.

Beautiful space! All you can drink margaritas were fabulous! Our server was great about us not having to ask and ask and ask. The food wasn’t a standout but some things were better than others. Recommend the quesaditas.

Really great Mexican spot right in the heart of downtown. The service is exceptional and the food was great too. The Al pastor burrito was delicious and incredibly filling.

Overall great restaurant. Went on a Friday night, busy but not overly busy, seated right away, server/waiter was prompt, answered my questions and offered suggestions. Had the Margaritas, I had passion fruit and my friend had the prickly pear, the prickly pear was a bit better, both great. For food, I had the Al Pastor grilled burrito, it was spicy (hot) and super good. My friend had the chorizo shrimp burger and it was delicious, different, and said he’d get it again for sure. The fries were also super good and different. Would come back again! Only suggestion I would have is warm chips, chips we had were cold but the salsa was fantastic.

I really enjoyed this spot. Super close to our hotel and the 16th Street Mall, which was nice. We stayed in Denver for 5 days and came back to this spot twice. It was amazing food and drink each time. And try the Agua Fresca! Fresh flavors every day and super fresh!!

Out of all the American-style Mexican restaurants I have been to, this one ranks among the best. The cheese enchiladas were incredible, and so were the chips and salsa. Service was fast and friendly.

I recently dined here while we were in Denver and it was a delightful experience. The extensive tequila menu was a pleasant surprise, with a wide range of options to choose from. Our bartender, Drake was exceptional, offering recommendations and making margaritas that blew us away! He was so helpful since we had never been to Denver with cool places for us to visit. The food was delicious but the CHIPS AND SALSA was the reason we came and it was a HIT. The service from the staff was outstanding, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic margarita, chips and salsa. Do not pass this place up!

Margarita was good and the tacos were good. I got a fish taco and al pastor taco, I have no complaints. The service was really slow though. Surely they're short staffed at the moment, but it was pretty bad. Overall, I may come back if I'm in the area. Hopefully some adjustments will be made with the service to make the place better. 👍🏽

My wife and I stopped here on a whim. We wanted a quick margarita and a snack. WOW! I had a Baja Fish Taco ,and my wife had a Carnitas Taco. We both had a regular margarita. Ian, our bartender was awesome. Food was awesome, and drinks were awesome.

Excellent salsa, good burritos, tasty margaritas what more can you ask for? Salsa is excellent. Good texture/flavor and the chips are sturdy but still fresh and crispy. Queso was great as well. Good creamy texture and it had some meat to it. The Al Pastor Grilled burrito is excellent, plenty of meat and a good ratio of filling. Not too dry on the inside and the sauces are fantastic. Be sure to ask for extra poblano cream sauce, it’s good on chips too if you have extra somehow. Got to try a margarita and it was very tasty, no one was willing to share their tacos so I guess they were good too. Overall pleased, we will come back.

Otra Vez Cantina offered excellent food and drinks. The service was decent. It did take some time for my party to get our check. I definitely give warning for others to bring cash ahead of time or go on less busy times The food was delicious . The chips were really fresh and tasty. The pulled pork in food was very flavorable. I ended up putting them on fries as fun food. The fries had a lot of spice to them. I got a strawberry frozen margarita. It was probably my favorite thing if night. I overall enjoyed my time with food and drink.

The food and vibes were on spot. There was an NBA Nuggets game on, so people were really engaged in watching that. My food came out within 10 minutes or less of ordering. I sat at the bar, and the service was great. I ordered tacos, and it was just the right amount of food. I recommend the kiwi pepino margarita, but it is a small serving size. Seeing all of the larger margaritas come out made me jealous for comparison reasons. I'd come back to check out the extensive tequila and mezcal list! I tried the carne asada taco, the vegetal taco, and el pastor taco.

Food was delicious. Strawberry margarita was so good! Food took a while and they tried to remove it from my bill but it tasted so good I paid for it anyway. The bartender was very attentive and apologetic for the wait time on the food.

The food here was surprisingly good. It's hard to find some decent Mexican food and this place is hit the mark. The atmosphere is very nice and I love the decor. We got to sit out on the patio on this beautiful day and if it's nice enough out I would suggest that you do that as it is very nice. Their Margaritas are quite tasty as well as the food.

Stopped by wanting an old fashioned but they were out of bitters. The bar tender was super nice and gave me a beer instead. Ordered a couple street tacos even though I wasn't planning on eating. They were AMAZING! Only lost 1 star for not having bitters but they made up for it and the food was amazing. Definitely will be back.

Great atmosphere and service. The chorizo and shrimp burger was good. However, the fajita tacos plate (beef & chicken) was not all that great. It tasted like it was missing seasoning. Beans and rice was on point. Drinks were good.

I decided to go into otra vez just randomly and had no expectations what so ever. I figured, it would be a very Americanized version of Mexican food. But I was so impressed!! You will get served chips with a phenomenal red salsa (best salsa I have tried). Micah was my server and he was so friendly and sweet plus when my phone was about to die they charged it for me at the bar. I got the vegetal tacos and no, you won’t see any photos because they were way too good and I forgot to snap them plus phone was charging 🫣😂. Anyhow phenomenal tacos, phenomenal salsa, phenomenal toppings and sauces.

It was really disappointing. We found a hair in the salsa . The fish and shrimp were overcooked. 2 people at our table ordered a side of quac that never came and we reminded the waitress twice. A food runner brought it out to us after we already ate everything else. We told him it was too late for that. The waitress came back over to apologize for him and said “sorry he’s new here”. As if it weren’t completely her mistake.
