I love this restaurant it is all vegan and super delicious 😋 Also the staff is fun and inclusive. I love the southwest art that is also abstract too. I really loved the vegan mac and cheese it was so realistic to non vegan it I had to get a second take but no worries it is vegan :3. Overall was an awesome experience.

Excellent selection of vegan dishes. We tried the charcuterie which was a generous selection of plant-based meats, cheese, nuts and fruit, the gnocchi, and the turkey and brie sandwich. The gnocchi was very good although the sweet potato sauce won't be for everyone. The sandwich was a generous portion and delicious. Food and service is 5* but taking a star off because they add 20% service to the bill and extremely unsubtly point out to everyone (twice for us), that most of the tip goes to the kitchen, not the waiter, and leave a space for an additional tip. Somehow they've made tipping even more complicated than it already was. Better idea: pay staff a living wage and don't leave the option for a tip

We discovered this place during our weekend visit to Denver. We were pleasantly surprised that Denver has a rich vegan/vegetarian eateries. Watercourse is one of the oldest. It has traditional food items with vegan twist. We ordered beet salad and Cuban sandwich. The food was fresh and flavorful. There are plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors. The parking is street parking.

DO NOT come here if you are on a budget. This restaurant is incredibly pricey and forces a 20% gratuity. We ordered to go and still had to pay the gratuity fee. It was around $9 (which come on, realistically, that's a whole other meal). Why do the customers have to pay extra to pay the employees? Why can't the employer pay them appropriately when the prices are already so high? Makes no sense. Aside from that the staff was decent, the food is alright. It's a bit bland; not great enough for me to be satisfied with paying so much for it. I'm from Phoenix and you can find delicious, flavorful vegan sandwiches for around $8. Oh also the chai teas were about 40% foam -___-

Watercourse is the best vegan restaurant in Denver and perhaps the best vegan food I have ever had. I am not vegan but enjoy several of the dishes as I have a friend who is medically forced vegan as animal and animal byproducts would literally kill her. But back to Watercourse. We both loved the food and the service. Anna was our server and was friendly and sweet. I got the Portobello "cheesesteak" and house salad with ginger maple vinegrette. The sandwich was melt in your mouth delicious and the salad was very generous (I poured it out on my plate after finishing the sandwich, and it was like a second meal). We loved the lunch portion cheese plate so much that we ordered a dinner portion to take back to our hotel for dinner. My friend got the fried cauliflower, which had the best coating and the beet salad. She liked the salad but said it could have used more dressing, so I gave her the rest of mine, which worked. Decore is neat, and I especially loved the Buffalo wall painting. There are gender neutral bathrooms but done right with floor length doors and walls. Really, only the sinks are shared space. Definitely stop in for a meal.

Watercourse Foods in Colorado is a haven for those seeking a twist on classic American diner fare. Here, traditional comfort food is reinvented through an entirely vegan lens, offering both a nostalgic and innovative dining experience. The menu boasts a wide variety of options, from hearty burgers and sandwiches to scrumptious pancakes and milkshakes—all plant-based. The ambiance captures the charm of a quintessential diner, while the staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about vegan cuisine. Whether you're a committed vegan or just curious about meat-free dining, Watercourse Foods offers a delightful culinary journey that satisfies cravings without compromising on flavor or ethics. Don't miss their daily specials and creative dessert offerings; they're sure to leave you pleasantly surprised.

Great vegan spot! I visited from Minneapolis and loved it. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and cute. I enjoyed the souffle pancake (insanely amazing) and the root vegetable hash (delicious). The staff was helpful in making sure my order was gluten free. I will have to stop back in for the souffle pancake next time I'm in town!

I sampled a few items on the menu and I have to say that my expectations were very high. I’ve tried lots of vegan restaurants and this is one of the most mediocre one I’ve had. - The truffle fries had too much lemon too sour. - The Po Boy had to too much lemon too sour. But otherwise good. - The carrot cake was days old rock hard I had to send it back. I dislike it when vegan restaurants sell dated pastries. Also the selection was very disappointing. The Caesar salad was excellent and so was the soup. The outdoor area is nice but the traffic can get a bit loud. Colorado springs has much better food y’all. Step it up.

So dissatisfied and disappointed! Used to be my favorite restaurant as a vegan, but for some god forsaken reason they decided to scrap their ENTIRE breakfast menu! Could not believe it, their breakfast burrito and French toast were the best I’ve ever had anywhere, vegan or non, but whoever had the bright idea to get rid of these items has guaranteed me to never return again. Unfortunately it’s become an overpriced, soulless hangout with abysmal service. Sad to see a place like this lose it’s style, only a matter of time before it goes under. 0/100 now, would not recommend.

I used to love this restaurant but ever since the menu has changed I have been very disappointed. They took off all of the breakfast items and a lot of the dinner items I enjoyed as well. Also on my visit today the booth was not clean and the milkshakes I ordered were over priced. Won’t be visiting again.

I'm editing my original review (see the lengthy review below). The menu has changed, and after giving it a second and third chance, I'm still not a fan of the new menu. Kind of gross to me. Others love it. I'm just an older Denverite bitter of the changes and bitter that one of my favorite places has changed so much. I really don't even like the food anymore. (ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW): I have been frequenting this place for years. Ever since the restaurant was sold, the quality has gone downhill. Specifically: 1. Favorite menu items are gone, including the "po boy" - which was the best sandwich on the menu. 2. Mac/cheese - recipe changed, and now it's flavorless. 3. Caesar salad/wrap - No homemade croutons on the salad. Old yellowed kale replaced the romaine lettuce on both the wrap and the salad. Herbed crispy seitan flavorless (its just fried seitan without herbs on the outside). Dressing is still good, but changed. "Parmesan" cheese is carelessly flung, not tossed, in the salad. 4. Seitan wings - now you can eat FOUR whole pieces of seitan for $11! What a bargain. 5. Nachos - Soggy with next to no "cheese". Overall presentation of the food no longer exciting. Bland, mushy, and flung together. Cold when served. I'm going to write a letter to the owners and let them know that if they can improve their food, I'll go back. But I have a feeling that because they are one of the vegan restaurants in Denver, they don't care what one once-loyal customer has to say. Not to mention, the food is extremely over-priced for what you get. I really don't feel like wasting $15 on a salad I can throw together at home. Sincerely, Disgruntled, frustrated former supporter of Watercourse

Walking in you are promptly great by the host/hostess who will seat you. So don’t go wondering around like a lost puppy. Service was great, friendly attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beverages. I think we ordered half their happy hr menu. Because of a member in our party being spice adverse, she is 4 so we allowed this omission of flavor, we got the wing sauce on the side. I am glad we did, the cornmeal crust used for the cauliflower is allowed to be showcased when not cover in, the admittedly tasty, wing sauce. The sweet corn flavor with the soft cauliflower were great naked! The shrub “home made soda” had a great acid punch from the vinegar but was balanced beautifully with no one flavor over powering the beverage. The lemon garnish is best utilized for the full effect of the creation to be enjoyed. I got the Ruben, everything a Ruben should be and more! I personally would have enjoyed some more sauerkraut but the sandwich was already busting at the seems so I don’t know where they could have fit it. The macaroni and cheese has a coconut oil flavor present that I enjoy but if you are a Mac and cheese purest Or dislike coconut this would be a skip. The one star was removed almost entirely, skip the fries, due to the desert. The layered carrot cake cheese cake 🍰 had extremely dry and flavor void carrot cake as a layer. It was an unfortunate way to end an otherwise great meal. Next time I will get my sweet calories from an other home made soda

Delicious!! We got the cauliflower, the brown butter gnocchi, and the mushroom cheesesteak sandwich. All were amazing. We went for late night happy hour and got $3 beers and they were great as well (and cold!). Pretty casual, maybe not date night but definitely for a low-key meal. Highly recommend this place!

You upcharge your customers $3.25 to sub a different protein that is equally priced on the menu? I don’t see this policy listed anywhere on your site, or your menu. Yikes.

I still like watercourse and have liked it for a while. I don’t live far from it, and it’s a regular, but there is a new policy change that I’m not a fan of supporting. When you dine in, there is an automatic gratuity of 20%. That’s no big deal because I always tip 20% anyway. It makes it easy. However, due to a policy change, that 20% applies across the board and including take-out orders. The person I talked to in the phone was really nice and I usually leave a dollar or two because the workers packaged the food up and got it ready, but 20% is too much to be applied to take-out orders. Maybe 5% if you want it to be included or just include the 20% in the price of food and don’t allow tipping at all like Europe. P/S: Americans will still tip anyway because old habits die hard. I hope the management sees this and understands that it feels odd applying 20% for takeout orders.

The menu is expansive and entirely vegan, which is great. Relaxing environment to go on a date or hang out with a group of friends. The Cuban sandwich was UNREAL… you have to get this, probably the best thing on the menu. However, the other food we tried (truffle fries appetizer and burger) were subpar and didn’t have much flavor. Warning: There is a 20% service charge, and multiple unexpected up charges for sauces that they didn’t tell us about.

Visited Denver recently, heard this was the best Vegan restaurant around. Was not. Disappointed. The wait wasn't TOO Bad (about 35 minutes for 3 of us) the staff was incredible, atmosphere and location of the restaurant are great. All of the food was out of this world. The gnocchi is FANTASTIC. And of the three desserts we tried, the lemon custard cake was definitely the best one. Maybe the best cake I've ever had. Check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely divine! Menu is superb, ranging across many domains. Coffee, milkshakes, desserts, anything and everything you could ever desire vegan available all in a cute corner cafe in the heart of capitol hill. If you're vegan and live... anywhere, it is worth the trip. Full flavor - BBQ jackfruit was extremely smokey (good to mix with the mac), vegan poached egg was quite the delicacy. Zero proof cocktails are also available which is very ahead of the curve. Especially appreciated the listing of allergens and the staff is extremely helpful in getting answers to make the experience as accepting as possible.

Good food and beverages, but the ‘chicken’ cauliflower’s breading could have had more flavor. The portion sizes are great for the price - I couldn’t finish my meal, and I had to share my desert. The strawberry cheesecake was my favorite item. Good location near other restaurants and bars, but finding parking can be difficult.

This place is always on my list when I visit Denver and I am never disappointed. The menu has been paired down from my last visit, but what is there is quality. I got the sweet potato and carrot arancini, which were like little falafel balls of veggie goodness. It was different than most anything I have tried before, well worth it. The Mac and cheese was tasty as always, as were the blackened and buffalo seitan wings. The cherry limeade was a big surprise, super refreshing. Harley was great, upbeat, and very helpful.

Disgusting customer service. Restaurant was empty with no customer and when I walked in with a big “Hi” they all ignored completely. 5 staff behind the counter, one was on the phone chatting, 3 staff saw me walk in and continued gossiping, one manager-looking guy approached but with a really fake attitude. Overall I felt disgusted being there and walked out. Never going back there again.

Excellent service and sub-par food. It is more novelty to the non-veg than it is well-executed vegan food. To boot, it’s far too expensive for what you get. Strongly recommend Vital Root instead.

Watercourse does not value their customers: I have an EXTREMELY SEVERE ALLERGY to milk protein (casein and whey). This is not an intolerance and I do not have an issue with lactose. I have had numerous blood and skin tests to confirm this is the ONLY thing I am allergic to. About 10 years ago I almost died after eating at vegan restaurant in SF. The “vegan” yogurt that they used had casein in it. I had to use an epipen and Benadryl, started passing out, went into anaphylactic shock in the ambulance, and was maxed out on all meds via IV at the hospital. My experience at Watercourse was different but that is just an example of the severity and mistakes that can be made. To make a long story short: I had a severe allergic reaction to the thanksgiving mashed potatoes from Watercourse. I am 100% sure they were the culprit. (I only ate Watercourse food that night and hadn’t eaten anything else in over 7 hrs.) I called them the day after thanksgiving and spoke with 4 different employees - two of which were the GM and chef. Instead of listening to me - I was simply telling them that somehow the contaminate made it’s way into their kitchen, I certainly wasn’t accusing them of anything purposeful (however, a cook once put butter in my food at a restaurant I used to frequent in NY because he didn’t believe I was allergic to milk — well, I had an allergic reaction and he admitted to it and was fired) - they all proceeded to tell me it’s impossible and gaslighted me as if I were crazy. Contaminates in food are not impossible. It happens. I was simply asking for an acknowledgement or apology. All I got was “I’m sorry you’re feeling unwell.” and “I can refund your $10 since you BELIEVE that we were the cause.” I explained I wasn’t “feeling unwell” - I could have died. That is what an anaphylactic allergic reaction is - it is a trip towards death, it is not “feeling unwell”: I took an epipen, my throat was closing up, I couldn’t breathe, my entire body was on fire itching. My friend who had come over was terrified and kept trying to get me to go to the hospital. In non-Covid times I would have - but thankfully the epipen and Benadryl hit and the reaction stopped getting worse. I spent the next day with a still-swollen throat and itchy hives. The fact that Watercourse employees dismissed me like I was insane was so offensive. I expected more. I’ve easily spent thousands of dollars there over the past two years. They brushed me off like it was no big deal. The GM said “I’m a vegan.” - as if her being a vegan has anything to do with my body cutting off oxygen when I ingest milk. I asked her what she thinks happened - she said “I don’t know, I wasn’t there with you.” As if I were lying about only eating their food. They kept saying everything is made in house (which isn’t true - e.g. Follow Your Heart cheese) and that I wasn’t listening to them - it doesn’t take a genius to understand what 100% vegan means. I eventually started sobbing in disbelief of how they were treating me and I ended the call. I have since sent them a lengthy email explaining the allergy and how I knew that the mashed potatoes were the culprit. No response. I will never go there again. I am not *that* concerned that I will encounter milk there again - I think it was unintentional and an unknown contaminate. I LOVE their food and had the conversation gone differently I would have absolutely gone back. The reason that I will never go to Watercourse, City o City, nor Make Believe again is their complete disregard for customers. I’m still in disbelief about how uncaring, rude, and dismissive they were. Edit: while we are on the topic of Watercourse telling me it would be a health code violation to have milk products on their premises and therefore contamination is impossible (that’s not how contamination from an outside source works, but okay). A lot of beers have lactose in them. Watercourse currently has at least two beers containing lactose on their menu: Epic Brewing - Son of a Baptist. Telluride - Face Down Brown.

Amazing place. Had the Cuban sandwich and seitan wings. Both tasted like the real thing, i was very impressed. My fiancé had the rueben and thought the “meat and cheese” were a little too sweet and didn’t enjoy it, but she still loved mine and the wings so still a win. Portions were good, service was great. Amazing job.

The food here is incredible. The pretzel and cheese were amazing. My family let each other take a bite out of each other's meals, and the Pastrami and Gouda sandwich taste the best with the Smoked Turkey and Brie coming in second. The Roasted Chicken and Prosciutto had a little bit too much meat on it for my taste and would have either preferred less meat or more sauce to compensate. Overall, delicious.

Well, to start, this is a vegan restaurant and I am not remotely vegan. However, the food was delicious. They have a good selection of dishes and drinks. The service was fast and friendly. Our server was wonderful. I had a generous serving of the pesto gnocchi which had an amazing flavor. The place was really crowded when we went, but that was not reflected in the service. One caveat, the bathroom is all gender, so that may be something to keep in mind lest you're surprised when you visit. Highly recommended, even for non-vegans.

Driving from Vancouver to Houston. Eating vegan all over the country and this is by far the best Vegan restaurant we have had the pleasure of eating at. Everything is wonderful! So much so that we took five different entrées with us to go for the road. Highly, highly recommend coming in to eat here no matter where you’re from or even if it’s a little bit more of a drive. 1000% worth it.

Came to watercoursr on my first trip to Denver. For the 4 days that we were there we went to watercourse every single day. Everything was delicious with 1 exception-The one not so great dish was the pancake souffle. It was a tad dry & should've come with more jam and maybe some whipped cream. Every other dish we had was exceptional- the country fried steak was the #1 dish. Perfectly breaded and seasoned and large portion. The mac n cheese was very creamy and very coconutty- if you're not a fan of coconut cheese then I wouldnt recommend it. Empanadas were very good. The MILKSHAKES!! Can't forget the milkshakes. So simple but SO good! And the daily pastries- all delicious. So much variety, big portions and friendly staff is why I give this place 5 stars all around!

These tacos right here are the BEST tacos… you don’t understand the emphasis on best. It was an explosion of flavors in my mouth that took me to another level. Absolutely delicious. Actually mad at myself for not ordering another plate to take home. Restaurant is cute in and outdoor eating. Our waiter was nice but just came back twice, to be fair it was really busy so it’s understandable. Back to the tacos WOW. let me know forget the hibiscus lemonade 10/10.

As a traditional full on carnivore born & raised in the south on meat and potatoes — this food is INCREDIBLE. This most disappointing part of this experience was knowing I had to go back home not having access to this type of food on a regular basis. Colorado natives are truly blessed to have this type of establishment so close to home.

Trip Advisor says american cuisine with vegan options, menu leads you to believe that as they describe menu in meat and egg terms. They are 100% vegan and preparations were not good. Only two wines, extremely limited alcohol choices. Lots of excuses by haughty staff.

The seitan wings are a must-try!! I order them extra crispy to really get that wing texture. They come with ranch which is the perfect combo. The menu changed recently as they now make all of their cheese and meat substitutes in house - how cool! Everything is 100% vegan plant based. The atmosphere is upscale casual. The eggs benedict used to be my favorite menu item. Since changing the menu, I'm not really a fan, which I found out last night. It is now a sandwich rather than an open-face presentation. The flavor is much more smoky, and they no longer serve hashbrowns as a side. It didn't hit as well with french fries. Overall excellent spot you should definitely check out, but if you've experienced the old Watercourse, be prepared for the changes.

Service was speedy and friendly. I don’t think you can order the wrong thing here. Easily my favorite restaurant in Denver, and even better that it’s plant based. We enjoyed the cauliflower wings (half BBQ half buffalo), bbq pulled jackfruit sandwich, and the mac and cheese. The pinnacle of comfort food. The best meat I’ve had is no longer meat.

We made it back into watercourse after their opening and new menu, and let me say. WOW. The atmosphere is great, the space is welcoming and feels safe to enjoy a meal in and the menu! We had the farro salad, pastrami and smoked gouda on rye, and the fried chicken sandwich. All amazing, the truffle hot sauce was out of this world. They've done it yet again. Watercourse is our favorite place in town for vegan fare and never disappoints!

My opinion: This restaurant is the definition of Snobville. They need to hire a bigger kitchen staff and pay more attention to customers. Right now, the staff gets away with arrogance because they are 1 of only 2 vegan restaurants in town.

Edit: Please, PLEASE STOP CHANGING YOUR RECIPES. The gravy is now watery and bland instead of thick and comfort food-y. I just want to come every month, maybe a few times a month, and eat the same thing. Also, I wish the chicken and waffles would make a comeback. Edit: They change their menu CONSTANTLY. I still love the big rig, so I keep coming despite biscuit changes, and really, really, really, really weird gravy experimentation (sometimes it's good and usually it's awful) when it's good, it is SO good. And when it's bad it leaves me wondering why I even bother. I just wish it was more consistent. Edit: the atlas is gone and the big rig is gone :( Edit: the big rig is back and the biscuites are better than ever, and they're consistent, and so is the gravy!! Edit: now they removed the big rig and biscuits. Their other food is alright and maybe this is part of a seasonal plan. Maybe, one day, the amazing big r8g will be back, but for now, my favorite meal that I used to order at least once a week is gone. And idk if it will be back. After losing the chicken and waffles, and the atlas, qnd the whole brunch menu including the big rig, it's just frustrating. I want to be a regular that constantly supports the restaurant but the keep removing my favorite items and it's getting harder to find dishes that truly fill that southern comfort food void. Like, the charcuterie boards are fine. Theyre fine. But they're not a big rig with a biscuit.

This was a great place with a real food menu that was hard to find in the vegan world. Now it's a sandwich joint. Still vegan, so points for that, but I don't think I'll come back.

  • 4/5 Keifer 3 years ago on Google
Only been one time but the food we had was very good. We did call ahead and asked for outdoor seating, they told us about ten minutes. When we got there the guy tried to seat us inside I think they didn't put down that someone called for outside seating when I asked the guy to be seated outside he did seem irritated by it. But whatever we all have bad days. We will be back to try more of the menu.

  • 4/5 Brendan B. 3 years ago on Google
This has been my go to vegan joint for years, and I plan to keep it this way. Even before Covid, their menu changed a lot, very quickly, and often. That’s the only negative thing I have to say about this place. Go check it out!

  • 5/5 JJ T. 3 years ago on Google
The vibe is absolutely amazing! The paintings and the music are what gives this place an awesome feel! I still can’t believe everything here is vegan! I had the 2 piece cauliflower chicken and it was delicious! Our server Justin was amazing!

  • 2/5 Katie H. 3 years ago on Google
This is the fifth time I've been here and I've only left satisfied once. The new menu change is not it. The meats and cheese need alot of work, they're mushy and sweet. Good effort but the old menu was better. Won't be bringing my business here again. The milkshakes are the best thing y'all have going.

Yummy!!! We had the fried chicken sandwich and the eggs benedict. We also had the most amazing cauliflower wings and would HIGHLY recommend those as a starter. Now sipping on our delicious strawberry milkshake 😋

  • 3/5 April G. 3 years ago on Google
The food is really bland and the sauces just don’t make up for it 😂 since I eat at mostly vegan restaurants because of a dairy allergy, I rely on sauces to make up for the food sometimes. I usually get the cauliflower wings but have tried the eggs Benedict and the seitan wings also. The cauliflower pieces are large and not very tender, and the cornmeal batter doesn’t have much flavor. All the food tastes very similar. Their spin on a pop tart was tasty from what I remember, though!

  • 2/5 Kristina B. 3 years ago on Google
Every time I go the menu has changed completely. Also it seems every time I go the quality seems to be less and less and the prices get higher and higher. This used to be my favorite place 2 years ago and since then I have liked it less and less. You used to be able to get a large quantity of the best quality vegan food for a decent price.. Last time we went we were going to get breakfast, we showed up and found out they removed all breakfast off their menu, and Me and my husband spent 35 dollars on 2 sandwiches and burnt French fries. We were so upset and still hungry after we left too. We dont know what happened to this place, and we just wish it was how they used to be.

An incredible spot for vegan foods! Absolutely loved the food. We got 1/2 and 1/2 seitan wings with Buffalo and BBQ sauce, a cup of mac and cheese and bbq pulled jackfruit sandwich. Their portions are pretty big and shareable. Wait time wasn't too bad for a Saturday brunch. We got seated in less than half an hour! We were too full to get anything else They did a really good job with covid safety and are enforcing masks and sanitization 👍

The. Bbq. Seitan. SO good. I would reccomend this with my dying breath. The macaroni is very lackluster, I’ve had much better vegan macaroni. It was very watery and non comforting. The seitan however exceeded every expectation I had and erases the fact the mac was bad.

This place is amazing and the food is great. I understand the agenda to LOVE LGBTQ, and I absolutely agree with LOVING everyone. However, men and women use the restrooms differently. If someone identifies as a female and would like to use the restroom, chances are they probably didn't get urine all over the seat. Regular men, who identify as men, using the restroom is very bizarre. Also, be careful. Hippie is short for hippocrite. Heathens add laxatives to your food of you are "out of line" with their agenda. A Big Birdie told me🕊. This place is very understanding |

Watercourse used to be the top of the line, 1st choice spot in Denver for Vegan food with all day breakfast, a wide selection of meals, and the best shakes. The good news is that they still have shakes but have basically been reduced to to higher end sandwich shop. Sad to see the new direction of this once great restaurant.. service is still great though.

I usually don’t post Reviews for vegan restaurants because it’s hard to find a good one but this place stands out among all the vegan places I have tried to be probably the best I have ever tried. I am originally from New York City and I have a feeling that this place hidden in Denver is better than most vegan places in New York City. The chef has perhaps been influenced by Asian cuisine Because the cucumber salad was very reminiscent of authentic Korean cucumber side dish. The fried cauliflower and the Cuban sandwiches were unbelievably good and hard to believe they were vegan. The soups are very good as well. I hope to return sometime soon although it’s probably 30 minutes out of the way for me from my office thank you

The hoHo is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Creamy, gooey, and rich. I’d recommend getting two or three so that you don’t get injured when you kick yourself for only getting one. Burger was really good too! This is top notch vegan food.

This place was so good! We happened to go on ABBA night and the servers and bartenders were so fun and friendly. I had a seitan burger and it was delicious. The fries were divine. My vanilla latte was average, but the rest of the food more than made up for it. My boyfriend got a mocha and it was much better. They're doing a great job with social distancing without sacrificing the experience. Highly, highly recommend.

The menu is beyond creative and the everything tastes amazing. Their deli sandwiches are to die for! We buy their sourdough, deli meats, cheeses, and ranch regularly. Everything is Vegan! They make an amazing Brie! My partner and I go here every year for Valentine’s Day and they definitely don’t disappoint! I always feel at home thanks to the amazing staff!

This place is fantastic 👏 👌 I went here today for lunch with my staff to celebrate a birthday. Clean cozy environment, lovely patio, and the food is wonderful. I ordered the two piece cauliflower chicken with fries and a side salad. The jalapeño cilantro dressing was incredible too. I'll be back - even as a non-vegan! :) Thank you so much for a great experience Watercourse Foods!

I have loved WC for a while and am so happy with the new menu. The pastrami gouda sandwich was better than I thought it would be, felt like I should try something new since I regularly get the same items. I was happy! My partner got the smoked turkey with brie baguette, it was tasty! We had to swap a few bites. As usual the cauliflower wings are great. I appreciate the sauce on the side for the to go order. Thanks to the staff!

I was going to eat here, but my two piece cauliflower meal came out to almost $20 after 20% gratuity was taken for a meal that is just grab and go. For that price I may as well become carnivorous.

This was such a fantastic meal experience. The staff were kind, the restrooms were gender friendly, and most everything on the menu had a vegan option, if it wasn’t already vegan.

We always eat here when we visit friends in Denver. Although we aren't vegans, we love the food here, especially the fried chicken dinner with 2 sides, and the tomato curry soup is so creamy and rich. The beer choices are good, too, and the service is friendly.

Got recommended to me by my esthetician and boy were we glad we ate here! The whole menu is VEGAN!!! Trust me you won’t miss the real stuff 😆

The food is soooo good here! It was my go-to when we couldn't eat outdoors yet. Everything tastes good but my faves are the panang curry and basil fried rice.

Hipster vibe, chill atmosphere, they don't do reservations, they are super clean. I once had a super uppity staff member not listen to the order and get irritated with me when I wanted the order corrected, this was quite a while back and otherwise enjoy great hospitality, especially from Amy. Getting back to the good. Everything is vegan and is true to being comfort food. My recommendations are the lavender lemonade, any of their shakes, the crisp cauliflower BBQ wings with ranch, the mac cheese with mushroom bacon. My mom swears by their blueberry wasabi vinaigrette. It is street parking, if you happen to end up on their waitlist, there is a gourmet market across the street to peruse or Rooster magazine is available in their entrance. I love this place and their food so much I spent extra extra money with them during carryout & delivery only days. Enjoy!

Eaten from here several times now, most of their food here is really good, main things that let me down though are the tofu scrambles and cheese sauce. The tofu scramble doesnt really have any flavor, and the cheese sauce, while it does have a "warm" taste to it, is still too mild/not very cheesy. Their Seitan wings have good texture and are prob my favorite, sandwiches are okay. I also enjoy the Chai shake and seasonal cheesecake. Portion sizes are good so i dont feel like im being ripped off for the price. Tried dining in the other day and was pleased by the fact that they do contact tracing.

Vegan sorcery! How do they make their vegan meats, cheeses, and sauces taste like the "real thing?!" I've come here twice with my non-vegan sister and even she loves the food. Definitely a must try even if you're not vegan.

Truffle fries were really good and had a nice spice to it. Good portion size to share. Pastrami and Gouda sandwich was good too. Be careful of the first bite. The inside is hott! Buffalo cauliflower was a crowd favorite. The staff was friendly and all had really unique styles!

What can I say. I’ve been here twice now, once in April and again last week. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I’ve had the smoked turkey sandwich, the bbq jackfruit sandwich, the mushroom ragout and sampled my friend’s Cuban Sandwich. 🤤 Everything tastes so incredible. Honestly, meat lovers, try this place out. You would never even know it’s vegan. The turkey had perfectly thin deli cuts. It was juicy and flavorful. The jackfruit sandwich was smoky, the jackfruit was tender and the bread was soft and soaked up the bbq sauce nicely. The Cuban sandwich tasted authentic like the traditional Cubans I’ve had growing up in at or City. It was surprisingly good. The loaded truffle fries?!!!! Omg 😱 they owe me nothing. They are perfectly seasoned, crispy, the mushroom bacon is so yummy. I always want a plateful just for myself!! My favorite of all has definitely been the mushroom ragout, mostly because of the fried polenta square on top. It’s got the best crispy crunch on the outside but is so creamy and smooth on the inside. A big spoonful with the sauce makes for a creamy, dreamy combo! Honorable mentions: the Sherpa chai milkshake with coconut milk was divine. And the slice German chocolate cake was HUGE! The cake was moist and light yet thick. The frosting wasn’t too sweet and it all came together well with the coconut. If you couldn’t tell, this is one of my favorite places to eat whenever I go out. A+ job every single time!!

Went to Watercourse on a Sunday for a late brunch, around noon. Didn't wait long, just about 10 mins. I am a frequent visitor of Watercourse and have always received fantastic food and service. Today was no exception. We got a pumpkin spice latte and lavender latte to start, along with BBQ seitan wings and ranch. So delicious! The drinks were amazing and the wings were too. We then ordered the Chick'n and waffles and the fritatta for our main meal, both were outstanding! The flavors in each dish were well rounded and balanced. Would order everything again and again!

Really good food. Super solid. I’ve been eating a lot more plant-based meals lately and I feel like they got super creative with their recipes- they make everything from scratch, ketchup, cheese sauces, you name it and none of it has dairy. I’m extremely impressed! I was a big fan of their Mac-and-cheese side, the truffle fries shown here, and the Cuban sandwich. THAT was seriously good! The fried cauliflower I had, I don’t think it was poorly executed at all, I just didn’t love the seasoning on it. Pretty cool restaurant and it’s really nicely decorated! :)

The burger was delicious. The fries were soggy and kind of cold. Expensive as vegan restaurants can be, and they add 20% service fee on top of gratuity. Nearly $30 for burger with fries and a cup of hot chocolate, then the tip. Service was very friendly, but they did not remove dirty dinnerware from the table in the course if my dining. To be fair, this is a common occurrence in many restaurants. They bring you the food but forget to take the old stuff away. Only once they came around to see if everything was okay. Welcoming ambience and staff was appreciated. It's worth returning.

Best vegan food in Denver. Their truffle fries are out of this world and the Cuban Sandwich is superb. Love going for breakfast on the weekend to beat some of the rush. I've taken many meat lovers here and they love this place too. For those who are skeptical, this place will have you saying "how did they make this vegan?" in the best way.

Literally the best vegan breakfast/brunch we’ve ever had (and we’ve tried a lot). Our food was SO good and our server was amazing (thanks Amy!!!). The cocktails were great, service was quick but not rushed, and everyone was so nice. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, too. We went for dinner and then brunch the next day because we couldn’t not!

We sat outside so the kids could move a little more. The food & drinks were totally delish including a cupcake for dessert. We got a cocktail which was good. The prices were somewhat steep. We were approached by someone who wanted money which I guess can happen if your sitting outside.
