The food was pretty solid. Definitely get the pretzel. The Schnitzel was pretty good with the lemon butter sauce but was a little disappointed to see that it costs 22 dollars and doesn't come with any sides whatsoever. Sausages were pretty good as well. Solid place for German food.

So after trying this place out and loving the food and leaving a review about the good food but poor service, I tried it here again a week later with 4 of us instead of just me. I made a reservation 1 or 2 days IN ADVANCE to be seated upstairs and was told that was not a problem. We all show up a few minutes early and I am told there was nothing available upstairs. This was maddening and disappointing. What's the point of reserving a table where I requested if they aren't even going to hold it for me?? The server didn't even come to the table we were forced to sit at for 10-15 minutes. In between ordering drinks, apps, and main course was 10-15 minutes for the server to come back. The food was really good except for the mashed potatoes being ice cold. Everything else was warm enough. After we all got done eating, we sat there with empty plates for 20+ minutes before they started taking plates away. Said we were ready for the check and the server came back 10+ minutes after that. I honestly don't get why the service is subpar here, both times within a week that I've been here. The beer and food were great, but the poor service leaves me no choice but to take some stars away. First review: I have been looking forward to trying this place as a way to tap into my German roots and German heritage. I came on Saturday during brunch time. First off, the food and beer are top-notch and highly recommended. Their service was good at first but then got worse... I wanted to sample different kinds of sausages, so I ordered 3 different types. Only 2 came. I told the server the mistake, and the missing one was later brought out. I was told I wouldn't be charged, but they charged me for it anyway. On top of that, my server completely disappeared after the mistake was remedied, and about 30 minutes went by before a different person from behind the bar came to check on me at my table. I asked for the check, and he didn't come back for 20 more minutes, where I then paid him. All was fine and OK overall until my server disappeared. I also don't like being lied to about not being charged for something they messed up on, only to still be charged. This is why I give 4/5 stars instead of a perfect 5. I will come back again to try other things, and if they can redeem themselves with great service the entire time, then I will change this review and give 5 stars.

This place is really cool. Super clean friendly quick service. Since they weren't busy they even showed me around the restaurant and gave me some of its history. BEST pretzel I've had. Good drinks. The space really makes you feel like your in an authentic beer hall. Great location huge space.

This place was amazing . From the great staff to the amazing food. For being the first time I was very thrilled. The food was awesome everything from the HUGE pretzel to the wings to the cheese curds and more. You just can't get enough. Visiting for a Nuggets or Avalanche watch party is highly recommended. My family had a blast and will definitely be returning. Shots out to Francisco and his amazing family and staff as they took great care of my family. It's nice when the owners walk around and check on you. See you guys for the next watch party!!!! Highly recommended.

We've been to the Rhein Haus probably around 6 or 7 times over the past few years; it's a place we always enjoy going back to. The food is absolutely delicious, the selection of beers (especially German imports) is splendid, and the atmosphere is great. We've been pretty lucky with (paid) parking on the lot right next to the restaurant. The location itself is pretty good, too - we usually take a walk around the block to extend our experience by checking out Larimar Square for some desserts.

Very good German food! Everything was prepared and seasoned well. Great selection of beers makes for a memorable and relaxing time with friends. Bocce is available for a price. The rustic feeling interior with long wooden benches for seating makes you really feel like you are in a German beer hall in Munich. I would absolutely go back for the appetizers and any of the entrees.

The best German spot in all of Denver! The aesthetic and vibes are immaculate. And their beers and happy hour are not to be missed. Very packed at nights so I suggest making a reservation ahead of time. Will come back again!

Visiting from out of state and we're very glad we came to Rhein Haus. Our reservation was at 3:30pm and the place was already lively. The size of this restaurant is impressive. Food and service were also great. I was too hungry to snap a picture of the pretzel, but trust me that it was delicious. My only disappointment is that I got too full to order apple strudel for dessert. We will definitely return next time we're in Denver!

Food was good good, service was good too. The waiter was nice first then he broke glass in my dinner, he was supposed to order my new food. We kept waiting waiting after 45 minutes the waiter wouldn’t show up. I spoke to another waiter he was so helpful. He helped out it still took like 30 minutes to get new food. Overall it was good experience if it wasn’t for the waiter to hide from me.

The giant pretzel was indeed huge but must've been cooked a bit earlier. Was cold and tough. Beers were good. Service was good.

A must-eat German style restaurant in Denver! We love Rhein Haus. Very awesome game (Bocce Ball) , great waiters and staff, plenty of seating, and great food! The giant pretzel is delicious like always and my Lombardi Burger was absolutely delicious. This is definitely an awesome place in Denver to eat and have fun!

Food was pretty good, we ordered the fried cauliflower as an app. For dinner I had the Rien Wurst and my wife had the goulash and some mashed potatoes. The wurst was decent. The mashed potatoes and goulash was very good. Unfortunately our server was not really very good. Disappeared several times. After taking drink and app orders he vanished on us. I had to go track him down so we could order, he never did check after the food came out. The inside of the place was pretty cool lots of tvs and boots full of beer!

Ordered the sausage plate with red cabbage and hot potato salad. Was solid— the sides punched above their weight and the sausage (cheddar wurst) was nice and juicy. The only knock here is that the selection of German beers is not as plentiful as I imagined it to be: there were only two German origin fest biers Overall still solid

Rhein Haus in Denver, CO, serves up a great experience all around. The bartender really knows their stuff - always ready with a recommendation from their stellar selection of German beers. The variety and quality of the brews are impressive, offering something for all beer enthusiasts. The food hits the mark too, especially if you're a fan of hearty German fare. Though, a heads up for the pretzel lovers - the small pretzel might not be the most traditional take, but it doesn't put a damper on the overall fantastic food experience. To top it off, they've got some fun games to keep the good times rolling. All in all, Rhein Haus Denver makes for a laid-back spot to grab a brew, enjoy some good food, and have a bit of fun. Worth the visit.

Not good, food was prewarmed and not fresh. Got food super fast and the quality showed. It was just a hurry up and get you served/out. Expensive for what you don't get. Food was lukewarm and when told to server was not taken as a concern. Beer was only thing good. Don't waste your money on food

The staff are very nice. I have a lot of allergies, and they took the extra effort to make sure with the chef that my order matched my needs perfectly. The staff was knowledgeable about my questions on how certain food items were made, allowing me to be able to select the appropriate meal to fit my needs with ease. Overall an excellent experience, and the food came out exactly how I ordered it, and tasted amazing!

This is a tale of two dishes! I got two items to go... one was really good, the other was really bad so it's unfortunate I couldn't give it a better grade. Let's start with the good. We got the Giant Pretzel. The name does it justice. It came in a pizza box if that helps paint a picture. Good color, good chew and the smell was amazing. We would have liked more consistency with the salt. Some parts were covered with it while others were completely dry. It came with 3 sauces. Honey mustard was fine but I'm not a mustard fan. The cheddar fondue was super loose and didn't taste like much. The obatzda was creamy and delicious, that was my winner. Next we got the Currywurst Frites which I was super excited about... that excitement faded away very quickly. I opened the box and almost chuckled. There were fries scattered around the box with a small sausage that was half cut up and half cut through only slightly as to make an accordion and a tiny cup of ketchup. Now, the ketchup was spiced nice with curry but the fries were soggy and pale with almost no salt and the sausage had very little color to it and was super bland. In all honesty it looked like cafeteria food you find at an elementary school. I hate to say that but it was. The atmosphere was cool and it looks like a cool hang out spot for groups. They have a big bar and a place to play bocci call(a classic from my childhood) I would love to come try some different dishes. Pretzel was good but that Currywurst was literally... the wurst! Had to do it.

THE BEST DINE IN EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!! Dylan was our host and he could sell you anything! He had a pretzel, which was to die for! The beer he picked out was perfection and we even agreed on the entree. We also ordered the pork schnitzel, käsepaetzle and rhein haus burger. The German chocolate cake was complimentary because we couldn't stop complimenting the chef. It was truly incredible and everyone should try them!

What a good experience. We tried the bratwurst platter. Excellent, good sides with it, kraut and mashed potatoes. It was enough to split. So be careful and not over order. The drinks were good as well. Nice atmosphere, and the service was impeccable. Definitely a try.

Hands down one of the best places in Denver. The food, ambiance, games, and friendly staff are on point! Nothing but positive vibes here and excellent food. Did I mention the food?!? Absolutely delicious! Oh, and they have BEER!!

We had a great family brunch. The kids devoured the giant pretzel. My personal favorites were all of the dinner menu, which we got to go. Great place for a family meal and bocce ball. The kids had a blast. $5 happy hour beers were a nice surprise too.
