Look no further, THIS IS THE PLACE! You want the most spectacular view of the Denver skyline at night, well crafted cocktails and perfect small plates with a Moroccan vibe? Done! I could not believe how delicious the lamb was! Some of the best I've ever had. The vibe here is extremely romantic and the service is top notch. They even brand their ice cubes which was a great touch to my old fashioned. The server had amazing local whiskey and bourbon suggestions when asked and that made my drink so much better to enjoy something from the local Denver area. Absolutely make sure you book a reservation. Overall, you will not be disappointed by coming here, as it's 5 stars from every angle!

This is a great spot to bring out-of-town visitors to Denver or to celebrate a special occasion. The great view and funky decor are topped by outstanding service and consistently delicious food. Don't miss any of the paellas; just be sure to order those first (with your drinks) because it takes a while to prepare. Also the pork was amazing as were the dips. Yum.

First, this score is more like a 3.75 stars. The food was FANTASTIC! I had the seafood paella and it's the best I've ever had so far. So, no problems there. The rooftop view was also very nice, although it was a little chilly and my waitress said they wouldn't turn the heaters on when I asked. Also, the host and the waitress just didn't seem to be interested at ALL in me as a guest. I didn't feel like a valued guest, but I made sure to still tip them well. I would come back for the food, for sure, but I would hope to be shown a little better hospitality next time.

This place is really popular online and with the locals, so we decided to check it out. We booked a table two months ahead for a birthday celebration. When we got there, the host and hostess were super friendly and wished us a happy birthday. The appetizers and tapas were seriously delicious. We also ordered paella, and they told us it would take 45 minutes, but that was okay since we had ordered a bunch of great appetizers. After we finished the appetizers, our server asked if we wanted dessert, and we reminded her that we were still waiting for the paella. She said she forgot to tell the kitchen, so we waited another hour for it to arrive. We ended up ordering dessert too. I was a bit bummed that they didn't do anything special for the birthday even though they knew about it, and I even talked to the staff on OpenTable. Overall, it's a cool place with awesome views, but our waitress kinda dropped the ball. Still, we had a good time and would probably recommend it.

I walked right by the entrance to this place because it is tucked back in a parking area with a little sign that can easily be missed. Once you find the door, someone checks you in before you are allowed to go up the elevator. The atmosphere is super cool and the view of downtown Denver is fabulous! I tried both the Ford's and Hendricks Gin & Tonic. Both were good. My dining partner and I shared Mushroom Turkish Pizza, Kauai Shrimp and Spreads of the Med. The last one was probably my favorite. I liked the vibe and it was a fun experience.

Had an incredible dining experience at El Five. The tapas were absolutely incredible. We had the goat cheese croquettes, papas bravas, the filo stuffed dish (can’t pronounce it), and the lamb shank. All of which were incredible. They have an amazing attention to detail - we had someone with a birthday and I believe they noticed when they checked our IDs at the time of ordering drinks because they served us with a cute birthday dish unsolicited. Overall it was a beautiful experience. It’s a shame the next door neighbor built a massive building which blocks off about 20% of the city views, but nothing that ruins the experience of El Five.

Wonderful experience all around! Visited from New York for the weekend and this was one of the places a friend recommended. Happy to say we weren’t disappointed! Easy to book online, the atmosphere was very modern while remaining intimate. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Rudy our server was awesome and elevated the entire experience. The rest of the staff was very knowledgeable of the dishes they brought us and extremely helpful. 10/10.

The food here is great for small parties or couples. My personal favorite was the Lebanese garlic dip. I wasn't a big fan of their seafood paella but my husband liked it. Service was friendly. Views are amazing. If you plan on visiting on a weekend though make sure you reserve as early as possible!

It has an amazing view to see the city skyline. The service was really good. All the questions were being answered well. The food and the drink was fine. The iberico pork lion was pretty good. It was tender and had good sauce. Don't really recommend seafood paella since it was really salty. And is not the paella we expected. Overall, it is a good place to enjoy the scenery and the service. Foods and drive were fine.

I’ve had this restaurant on my list to try for a couple years now, it did not disappoint! The food, view, and ambiance are incredible! It was great for celebrating a special occasion. We ordered 3 different dishes for 2 people and it was the perfect amount of food. Each dish was so diverse and full of flavor. My only critique was that we wished the server would have been a little more informative and enthusiastic while serving us. Usually, dining out at a higher end restaurant we love recommendations or how many dishes they would recommend. We asked and got very vague answers and they seemed to be “too busy” for us. Everything else was fantastic, compliments to the chef(s)!

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to so far in Denver. The food was well balanced and delicious overall. The vibe was decent and the outdoor seating was great for views of downtown. Highly recommend for a date night or a gathering with close acquaintances!

My fiancee and I had one of the best dining out experiences we've ever had in Denver here! Okay duhh- the views are beautiful. But the food!!! I might drool if I go into detail. Literally everything was to die for. Drinks as well! The servers may recommend 2-3 small bites to share but we went all out and had about 5 tapas instead. Absolutely no regret! We will definitely be back soon for our croquettes fix.

One of the top 10 meals I have ever had in my life. Service was absolutely amazing, the view was GORGEOUS, and honestly for the quality/ amount of food we had, very much worth the price. I had a gift card my mother gave me for my birthday, and we probably had 5 dishes, 4 cocktails, and a dessert to go, and didn't even use the whole thing. Also the food runner was the happiest, most enthusiastic guy, even at the end of the night closing. I was so thrilled with the experience! Definitely my favorite edible beats establishment!

Went here for my birthday dinner today! Loved it. Everything was on point, from the views to the food. I really enjoyed the croquettes and could have ate like 100 of those. The paella was delicious and so flavorful. Really enjoyed the pineapple cucumber drink but the zombie was super aromatic with the burning cinnamon and orange peel. Got really full off of everything. Would definitely come back.

We came here on our last night in town and HOLY SMOKES it was amazing. We were in Denver celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was one of our "must try" restaurants. I made reservations weeks in advance (they fill up fast, so reserve early). If you can, get a seat by the window. It's a gorgeous view over the city, especially at sunset. As for the food, the tapas were delicious and perfect for sharing. We had the Lebanese dip, goat cheese croquettes, and rabbit confit while we waited on the paella and each one was spectacular. The paella was unbelievably good. We had a ton left over and its even better reheated the next day. Seriously, the trip was worth it for the paella alone! Their wine list is also outstanding and they have an artisan cocktail list with innovative options. The service was impeccable and we never wanted for anything. This is definitely a place I'll visit again when we're back in town!

Such a beautiful restaurant. The food presentation and atmosphere were amazing. Paella was a little on the salty side. Eggplant fries a dumplings were good. Felt a bit neglected by our server Corey but Frank pulled off an awesome recovery and speaking to him was the highlight of our visit.

This was a dining experience that I will not soon forget. The food was exquisite. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived for our reservation and they sat us at the chef table in the interim with the option of moving when it was ready. We ended up eating our entire meal at the chef table and it was the best experience- we got to taste a little bit of everything that was going out of the kitchen: All the dips, sauces, and even some deserts . Mark, the appetizer and dessert chef kept us entertained and extremely well fed. This was a 10/10 dining experience and probably the best food we ate during our trip in Denver. Definitely coming back if we are back in town. Stand out dishes were the garlic dip and pita bread and the lamb sausage. The pork cheeks were also perfectly cooked. The table next to us got the paella and I was a little jealous because it looked so delicious and topped with an insane amount of seafood. Definitely trying that next time. The restaurant has cool vibes and killer view although parking was difficult to find in the area.

A local suggested we come by El Five for dinner. We were lucky and snagged a dinner reservation the day we went, 20 minutes before we got there! We sat on the patio and enjoyed a view of Denver while we tried a variety of tapas. The staff was friendly and recommended great dishes. We were touched by the sweet card they left on our table as well! We really enjoyed this spot and highly recommend it.

El Five was a top notch experience! We had to reschedule to a later time. And let me tell you this place was SO worth staying up past my bedtime! ;) We we’re celebrating an anniversary and everyone from the hosts to the wait staff and bartenders said Happy Anniversary to us. We were even given complimentary glasses of sparkling wine. Our waitress was personable and took the time to talk about the drinks and food with us. The drinks and food was beyond delicious. Everything curated so well. I didn’t think I had room for the cheesecake and I ended up devouring it. Don’t skip visiting El Five!

5 star spot. This place is definitely a must visit while in Denver. The decor and atmosphere is very vibrant. The food is just sooooo good. Make sure to order a bunch of stuff and share. And they make some amazing cocktails. It is also a bonus that they offer a great rooftop view of the city. Also feel free to sit at the bar and have some really amazing conversations with the bartenders.

Pricey and worth every dollar! Seriously one of the most memorable meals I've ever had. The patio was a great experience and all the small plates we shared were phenomenal. The Seafood Paella is worth the wait! And definitely try the Matzo Ball Soup Dumplings and Lebanese Garlic Dip!

I do not give five stars lightly. I have 10 years experience in the restaurant industry including hosting, serving, bartending and managing. I have been to some of the nicest restaurants in big cities like Chicago and Vegas. I can hands down without a doubt say this was the best dining experience I have ever had. Everything was beyond excellent from the ambiance, cocktails, beer selection, food and the knowledgeable service. It is very obvious when people are serving food and drinks they are proud of and this restaurant is a perfect example. The service in every position here was beyond my expectations. An extra shout out to my bartender Dan who had a very telling knowledge of the bar and food. There were two other gentleman behind the bar who were also willing to answer any questions I had and provide expertise on the food and drinks. Overall, 10/10 I do not have a single bad thing to say.
