Really wanted to love French 75 but,….. My family and I were out for a special night; going to the NetCracker after dinner. I heard so many positive things about French 75 so I decided to make reservations. I paid the reservation fees and followed the Covid-19 protocols that French 75 has in place; kudos to French 75 for having them in place! I was amazed by their Happy Hour menu and the .75 cent Prosecco is really good! We order the cauliflower stake, the tuna and both pastas on the menu and two bottles of wine. The cauliflower stake was not good and had to send back. The pasta had no flavor and was clumpy ie noodles were stuck together like a ball. The overall experience was far below my expectations of what I heard about French 75.. I soo wanted this to be a special dinner before a special night out..sooo disappointed.

This was the perfect date night restaurant pregame right before a show at the paramount theater. Must have the French onion soup and the duck confit had some of the best zesty sauces I've ever tasted. I'd also be okay just filling myself with their baguette and salted homemade butter spread. Can't wait to go again when I'm in the neighborhood!

Servers are fantastic and food delicious, but the cocktails are really where it's at, apparently. Happy hour is a killer deal. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. They charge you $20 to make a reservation and they refund that on your tab. They also charge a 22% "CHP" fee to your meal, which is strange and confusing. It's not clear if that's just your gratuity or not. It makes you feel like you're cheating your server by not still tipping, and if you do, then you're paying like a 40% tip on top of what is already a very expensive meal. Parking sucks down here, so go early.

Requiring customers to pay ahead for their reservation is unnecessary and inconvenient. It is also a sign that the restaurant is not confident in its ability to attract customers. Charging a 22% tip is excessive and unfair to the customer. The tip should be based on the quality of the service, not on the restaurant's preference. The restaurant should give customers the option to choose the tip they want to pay. My husband and I ordered the steak frites and the filet de boeuf. They were perfectly cooked but were salty. The roasted potato and fire roasted bell pepper were flavorful, but they were not served hot. This suggests that the dish was not prepared fresh. One positive aspect of our experience was the high-quality live music that was playing while we were there.. Overall, I believe there are better dining options in Downtown Denver for a superior meal experience.

Did not get refunded $20 on the tab and only remembered when I got home. My food was pretty good, I recommend their Calamari and Rigatoni Bolognese, but my friend hated her salmon (it was in sweet sauce and salmon tasted burnt). Service was fast and we got seated as soon as we walked in. Overall nothing special.

Pretty disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered the salmon and duck confit. The salmon was grilled quite well, but the duck was quite hard and dry. Also, both dishes were way too salty, so it was hard to even finish the meal.

Very good food!!! Pretty close to authentic French food! Very nice setting! Personel Very kind! Little pricy but worth it... Was not a huge fan of the 22% automatic tip. Plus when you sign they put ANOTHER chance to tip again... Absolutely recommend!!

We booked a 730 res because 7 was I unavailable. Got there to a nearly empty place. Was seated at a bistro in the window. Asked to be relocated because the poor homeless dude was right at the window watching us. The menu, which looked fabulous from the website was changed to “Bones”, an Asian noodle fare. It was not apparent to us that they did a residency menu on the weekends. We had to pay a $10 per person reservation fee, which they did credit back. Lobster noodle dish for $38 had very sparse amount of lobster. Shrimp fried rice dish for $32 had ample shrimp but came out separately from lobster dish. Was cold. When bill came they wanted to ring up before they presented the bill. I asked if I could see the bill first please? Wanted to be sure they credited the res fee. Waitress, wry nice person, asked if we were familiar with the “KPH” fee of 22%. I asked what they was? It’s the keep people happy few, a pre charged tip they split with the kitchen. Of course the bill had a blank tip line so if you’re not paying attention you can easily double tip. Service and atmosphere were nice, the rest was one of the oddest finishes experiences, in a not good way, we’ve had.

Mediocre food and inexperienced servers, all at very high prices. The food was ok, but nothing great. Our server seemed very new, and jumped right into opening our wine without checking that they had the right bottle, which speaks to poor management. The music was also weird (jumping between many styles and volumes). Given the other great options in Denver, I would highly advise avoiding French 75, or anything from this same management company.

What a marvelous evening. French 75 is a treasure! We came here for dinner and had a great time chatting with the lovely manager Abby and her bar tender. The happy Hour is a must have! 75 cent Prosecco. Let me repeat that for you, 75 cent Prosecco!! And bottomless truffle fries! A true 5 star experience from start to finish.

The experience of this place was excellent. The atmosphere of the venue is immediately as well as gradually laid and introduces one to an engaging calm and the enticing romance of dining done well. My date and I were both very impressed with every course and accompanying drink - I recommend the salmon. What solidified our pleasing with French 75 though was through and through the service and welcome of its people. Kindness and helpfulness from the receptionist on the phone as well as in person, welcome and comfortable engagement from the bartender, professionalism, flexibility, and grace from the hostess, connection and admirable table manor from the server and consideration along with skill and precision from the chef… THIS PLACE IS THE RIGHT CHOICE. WILL be back.

We had a great dinner with family! We pretty much took the staffs recommendations on what to order and everything was delicious, cocktails, appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Lexy was our waitress and took great care of us, Will and Chef Matt made our amazing food. We will definitely be back for more!

Loved my visit. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent, though I prefer my escargot with more of a garlic taste. Pretty earthy, yet still good. I will definitely be back.

The food is very delicious here. I and another person had the French Dip sandwich (him with a side salad me with fries), the other two people at our table had the Nicoise salad. Everyone was very pleased with their food and found it to be quite delicious. The portions and the presentation also are very pleasing. The French Dip is BIG so show up with a hearty appetite or be prepared to take some home as leftovers. I was also quite pleased with their fries. I'm a little bit of a fry snob so I was pleasantly surprised to find the fries quite good (not the best part of the meal by any stretch but good). The restaurant was quite empty when we were there for lunch so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The downside of this was the speakers for the background music were still pretty darn loud, so it was still like it was a full restaurant. The brief moments the music stopped were something of a relief and we all would relax and luxuriate in the brief respites from the loud music so we could converse easier. Over all a quite good place to eat lunch. Pricey but if it's in your price range it's a great place.

We loved this place for lunch. I was all about the atmosphere; very french cafe feel. The menu is not extensive but that is ok. Our dishes were delicious and the kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant, so tiny bit of entertainment there. However, we thought the fries would be the "potato boats" we saw while being seated. They were shoestring fries with our dishes. Would eat at again when in Denver.

Great couples date nite. The kitchen was short staffed...we only knew that because at the end we told our server we were impressed with the food, service, staff etc and she was most appreciative and said they were short staffed. We did the chefs tasting with the wine pairing and it was fantastic! They were out of the mussels but made a fantastic superb substitution. Abby and the staff were great. Can't recommend enough! We wished the live jazz would have played longer into the evening.

Excellent venue. Madison (Waitress) was very friendly and helpful. Madison suggested an "off-the-menu" selection (see photo) that combined an excellently cooked steak and their Mushroom Fusilli. Delicious!!! The only downside was the lack of Jack Daniel's as a whiskey choice.

We enjoyed an evening out at French 75. The french onion soap, filet de boiled, and crème brûlée created an excellent meal. Madison also added to our positive experience as well.

I went to this restaurant because I wanted something different for lunch. Some of my coworkers asked where I went. The Caucasian coworkers spoke highly about the food and service. But the minority had a different thought. Their thoughts were the same as mine. Yes the food and atmosphere was great! But the service was a negative twenty stars. I ordered something that was quick and easy. It shouldn’t have taken 20 minutes from the time ordering it to receiving it. Plus it wasn’t even busy. So my dear Caucasian coworkers, I’m sorry about your feelings on how exceptional this restaurant truly is. The Palm restaurant was an exceptional restaurant when it was in the Downtown Westin hotel.

Reuben was our server at the bar and was excellent! The first drinks we ordered were not as we expected and he was very gracious and took them back and gave us new drinks. Both the wine and my date were exceptional.

Landed in Denver yesterday and just finished a more than fabulous meal at French 75 In Denver! I can not tell you the last time my husband and I had such a wonderful time dining out and we do that a lot. It is Sunday and they offer an assortment of appetizers ( the charcuterie was exceptional) and a 3 course dinner. The food was Devine and the Service we received from our waitress Sydney and the manager Abbie was beyond our highest expectations. Welcoming, attentive to our every need and just the kindness of exceptional people! If you are in town, don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience! We can’t wait to come back.
