Great home in the wall. 1 pool table, lots of neighborhood people. Monday night comedy shows. Cool old decor.

LJ's is theeee best bar in Corktown!! You must visit Mrs. G if you come to this area, as she's the Mayor of Corktown! Newbies, enjoy the area bit make sure you stop in to see her, you won't regret it ❤

Needed to kill a little time before dinner on a Saturday. Had a great experience with a small group. Very laid back with reasonable drink prices and solid selection.

The bartender was a hoot! She pulled up a bar stool and sit down and just joined in our conversation, very refreshing. The drinks were good but the Lions lost. Nothing new

Ljs is probably one of the last great dives in Detroit. Especially in corktown. A true gem. Do yourself a favor and grab a nightcap here because the true magic lies within the staff.
