It really is delicious, most things anyway. The bathroom requires a key from the front, which I get since it’s right by a door. They are trying to be considerate and accommodating, such as not presently allowing laptop use. My portobello panini and lobster bisque hit the spot.

Love the small business, family vibes here. Got the absolute best lox sandwich I've had in well over a year here today, and I'm happy to announce I'll be visiting again simply for the sandwich. Jackson has always been incredibly kind and quick to acknowledge a new presence, even if he can't immediately serve. Great person to chat with! 4 stars for atmosphere is because there is currently a sign that says no computer use in the cafe. If you watch the video attached to my review, you can hear me be surprised by the amount of salmon on the bagel. Honestly, it was so good that I'm thinking about going back tomorrow for another one.

This little gem cafe, tucked right in downtown SCS, is a perfect stop for homemade soups, sandwiches, coffee, and baked goodies! Jack and Karen, the owners, are the nicest people and so hardworking to provide the best quality food and atmosphere! I did the soup/sandwich combo with chicken noodle and the club sandwich (on panini bread); both were fresh and delicious! I also had the white chocolate caramel mocha which was also wonderful!

Should not be called a cafe.. wouldn’t allow my friend to grab a coffee and sit down with her laptop to get a couple things done.. said this place is a restaurant first… yet they close everyday at 3pm.. so not sure that makes sense. Also wouldn’t let her drink out of her water bottle. Very weird vibes. Wouldn’t recommend, but I would recommend EOS CAFE!

I would absolutely recommend this location. The quiche is always amazing. The drinks are different - but the owners want you to be happy and will make/remake to your liking. It just has a family feel here and they are a great part of the community. The portabella panini with pesto is so delicious!

Went for breakfast. Coffee was good and breakfast sandwich's were hot and delicious. Can't believe I waited so long to come here. The staff (owner even?) was very friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. Can't wait for my next visit.

Wonderful and highly recommend. Whether it be for a quick morning cappucinno, espresso, or american coffee, breakfast coffee with a pastry, or lunch (soups, sandwiches, quiche, etc.). It has interesting menus choices and everything is truly home made. Very comfortable cafe environment and had tables outside on fair weather days. It is also located in a growing/cute town setting.

It's usually good, but this time wasn't the best. The hot chai latte was made with way too much milk, and the lid wasn't on properly when brought to me, so when i went to drink it, half of this hot drink went down my shirt... We wanted to sit and enjoy a weekend coffee, but had to leave right away because of this. There was also an extremely rude regular just staring and snickering...who then went to sit inside after she had her laugh that I'd burned my chest... I guess if you want to be laughed at by snobby people, this is your spot! Everyone has their off days, but I'm never going back.

Our family loves FarBella's. They offer great real fruit smoothies for the kids. I particularly enjoy the quiches. The owners and staff are always accommodating and friendly. A great local breakfast/brunch/lunch spot!

This is a cozy little place where it's never crowded and I feel at home. The soups are homemade and amazing. The owners Jack and Karen are so very nice, they act like they've known us for years. This place is a must go!

Mom and pop style coffee shop with a nice food menu consisting of breakfast sandwiches, panini, wraps, salads, soups, chili, and danishes with other baked goods!

We absolutely love this place! The owners are so friendly and seem to really want to make your experience special! It is such a gem! My daughter has loved going there since she was very little and she loves it! Coffees are wonderful, they have a ton of options for Italian Sodas, and the food is great! I am especially fond of their soups, Tuna Melt, and Monte Cristo!

The only reason why I came is because I thought I could sit down with my laptop and do some homework. As I was ordering the lady asked me what was in my backpack I said "a laptop". She said "there's no laptops allowed in here under any circumstances". I was a bit confused as it wasn't very busy and plenty of tables were open. I then asked if reading books are okay and she said "yes books are fine". I then went on to say that my book is digital and it's on my laptop. She said "well then it's not okay". I was standing for a while then she muttered "well I guess you could go to the back corner with your laptop". She also said their reasoning for Banning laptops is the prevalence of remote workers taking up too much space as they are considered a full service restaurant. So is this a cafe or not? Smoothie was good, food was good, atmosphere was really nice. Wish I could have stayed.

The owner is a pleasant man, the food is good and decor is relaxing. The service is a bit slow because there are only a few people (mom and pop biz) working. I ordered a soup at lunch and it took longer than my friends sandwich to arrive. Quite a bit of broth in my chicken noodle as well...but it was tasty, and the bread it was served with was delicious! Worth a visit, but have some extra time and patience.

I went here for the first time on 11/5 kind of on a whim. It's a really cool place with a great menu. The service was friendly and helpful and the food fresh, tasty, unique, and at a great price. I will definitely be going back soon.

What an absolutely adorable coffee shop! The paninis and muffins were delicious, and the espresso was one of the best I've had in a long time. The owners were incredibly nice and lovely, and you could tell that everyone in there was a regular. We actually came here because the restaurant next door was closed and I am so happy it was! Will definitely be back again and again.

Here's how my experience played out: I go into Caffe Far Bella to work for an hour, get coffee, and breakfast. The cafe is literally empty except for one table. Guy at counter: Oh sorry we don't have internet to allow computers to connect to. Me: Oh no problem, I'll use my Hotspot. Guy at counter: Oh no, you can't do that either. We need to keep spots open cause people actually eat here, it's a cafe. 🙄 Me: *Looking around at a nearly completely empty cafe* OK, just an espresso to go then. ***** The espresso I ordered tasted burned and full of tannins. The espresso I got at Starbucks from Kroger right afterwards was much better. The place is decorated nicely, but lacks any type of welcoming vibe. It's super dumb that they'll shoot their customer in the foot, just to prevent them from being able to get some work done there.

Just love this little coffe place and them have amazing soups, wraps breakfast sandwiches and more. Its not expensive and the owner is super friendly and kind. I prefer this place over Starbucks anyday and I was "That Starbucks Girl" until I found Caffe Far Bella !!!

Looking at the other 1 star reviews it looks like other people have had a similar experience to mine with the rude owner. I came in here for breakfast on a Tuesday at 10am. I brought my laptop in so it wouldn’t be left in my car. When I came in there was one other man in the restaurant who was sitting at a table and on his tablet drinking a coffee. I ordered a bagel and a tea and the woman who took my order (I’m guessing the owner) seemed annoyed by this but I tipped 30% anyway. I went to sit down and she says “excuse me, didn’t you read the sign, no laptops allowed” (I did not see a sign) I said “oh I’m sorry, I’m not staying long, just long enough to eat” she replies “I’m not supporting your home office”. At that point it was just awkward so I sat quietly until she silently brought me my bagel (which was stale). Needless to say I won’t be back. I get restaurants may not want people sitting on a laptop and taking up space all day but #1 you’re a coffee shop #2 the entire place was empty, there wasn’t exactly a wait for a table and #3 there are MUCH nicer ways to communicate your policy. It’s sad because my best friend is a local influencer with 80k metro Detroit followers and I was literally holding up my phone to take a picture of this place to ask her to promote it because it was so cute. Glad I didn’t!

Great food and great service. Went there for the 1st time this week and had the best mushroom bisque soup. It was rich and hearty. The tuna melt was perfection. Will definitely be back.

Visited for the first time and was very impressed! The food was delicious and the staff was SO friendly. They seemed to know everyone personally who came in and that gave me a nice small town feeling. I will definitely dine in next time, it was a great atmosphere.
