New Café in the city center of Leiden run by a lovely lady who is trying to realize her dreams! This place is the definition of quaint, it's beautifully decorated and with the music and ambience really creates a great vibe. The food and coffee are both really nice. Can highly recommend trying the smash burger & her delicious self-made pastries (which change every week). The owner is so friendly and always down for a chat, she only started 7 weeks ago and I really hope she is here to stay. I will definitely come back for more and encourage anyone to help this and other local businesses!

If cute, cozy, and friendly were a cafe, it would be Kaffee Metzke. They have burgers and breakfast burritos too. I still have to go back to try the cake of the week (and I guess I’ll have to do the same the week after, and the week after…), but if it is anything like the rest on offer, I’m sure it will be great. Easiest review I’ve ever given: Five stars for food, service, and location.

This little cafe in Leiden is an amazing find! Despite its location in one of the busiest areas of the city, the atmosphere is great - it's small but really comfy, with a cozy and inviting vibe. The whole decor of the cafe looked really nice and added to the overall experience. While the menu isn't extensive, the food that is available is fantastic. I had the smash burger and the breakfast burrito, both of which were absolutely delicious. But what really made my visit special was the warm welcome I received from the staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, I would highly recommend this little cafe to anyone looking for a tasty bite to eat in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Recently opened place by a really friendly owner. Great decor and a nice location. The breakfast burrito gets a 5/5 stars, but my personal favorite is the smash burger. The owner recommended the Moscow ginger beer which was excellent. It's my new favorite coffee shop!

As you step inside, the remarkable wall painting immediately catches your eye, exuding captivating charm and giving the place a special feel. The lunch offerings here are not only tasty but also cater to vegans ands vegetarians, providing a delightful selection of options. Fully recommend.

Coffee here is really nice! Also the owner is very kind and it’s always a good mood to go in and get a cup of coffee. I have yet to try the food but I can recommend a visit 🙌🏻
