Bahawalnagar Railway station was a Railway station which was nearly one of the most important railway station of this region. Its old building is very beautiful and historical in some aspects, there is restoration going on in this track till bahawalpur, hopefully in coming few years this will again be functional. For transportation to India this track can be used again as this is near to India and is capable of both passenger trains and Mall trains.

The Bahawalnagar Railway Station, located in Bahawalnagar, Pakistan, holds a significant place in the region's transportation history. Its history can be traced back to the British colonial period when the railway system was first introduced to connect various parts of the Indian subcontinent. Construction of the railway station likely began in the late 19th century during the British Raj. The station was strategically situated to facilitate the transportation of goods and passengers across the region. It played a crucial role in connecting Bahawalnagar with other major cities, fostering economic development and trade. The station's architecture reflects the colonial influence, with a blend of British and local design elements. It boasts a distinctive charm, with a platform, waiting areas, and a grand facade that harkens back to a bygone era. Over the decades, Bahawalnagar Railway Station has witnessed various upgrades and modernizations, keeping pace with changing transportation needs. It has remained a vital transportation hub for both freight and passenger trains, connecting Bahawalnagar to cities like Lahore, Karachi, and Multan.

Mashallha Beautiful railway station. Nicely constructed. Not like any other old railway station. This is newly constructed and it is nice place. There are rest rooms, washrooms, etc. One of the beautiful ❤️ railway station of Pakistan. The parking area is small for the station which needs to be upgraded. Overall a really great upgrade from old to new building. The station is staffed and has advance and current reservation offices. Food stalls are also located on it platforms.

Its was a Junction in Britain's Era, but after Hindustans partition & negligence all the construction & railway area destroyed. After around 2006 there were no train operations, now govt again start working on the reconstruction of Train Track & public is hopeful for the re-continuance of Train operations.
