At the end of last year I decided to go for my PADI open water. I ended up at ABC Dive through my girlfriend. In the first conversation with Remco, his passion for diving (and the underwater world) was immediately noticeable. He always takes the time to explain everything to you in detail so that there are no surprises. He is very patient and careful and he radiates that. It immediately felt good and so I started my PADI open water at ABC Dive in January 2023. I had chosen to take the swimming lessons in Almere and the open water lessons in Sharm El Naga in Egypt at the end of April. In my opinion, a unique way of learning to dive. The package was carefully put together with Remco and tailor-made to my wishes. He also knew how to guide me through the different choices when buying diving gear. Everything was explained neatly. There is only one word to describe the lessons: AMAZING. At ABC Dive they all have a real passion for diving and that is clearly noticeable. Bas is a great instructor who is very patient and takes his time with you. I always felt supported and my opinion was always listened to. The lessons are truly tailor-made: your own pace/doubts/etc. are taken into account. Frans is also an excellent instructor who takes his time for you. The dive masters Jelle and Dennis V are also indispensable. What a great feeling it was to see the pride in Dennis' eyes in Egypt! Everything was well organized in Egypt. From our resort we walked straight into the beautiful bay. Warm water, beautiful coral and plenty of fish! In the first two days we completed our open water course. Once again with excellent guidance from the instructors and dive masters. I had done my PPB, Nitrox and Wreck specialty and thus obtained the PADI advanced open water certification. For the wreck specialty we visited beautiful wrecks in Abu Nuhas. It was a great experience, partly thanks to Bas and Dennis S's excellent guidance. All this in 1 carefully planned week in Sharm El Naga! The group of over 30 people was also great. Met a lot of nice people and it was a very diverse mix of people! I can say more about it, but if you are looking for a top diving center where only great people work and where you are perfectly guided: visit ABC Dive! Here you don't just learn to dive, you learn to dive GOOD.

Abc dive gives you all the training you need to become a great diver. I achieved my advanced and specialty certifications with Abc dive and had great fun and wonderful learning experience. The team at Abc dive is very professional and knowledgeable to provide you the right guidence and support. They always motivate you to learn and grow your skills to the next level. The dive trips to Egypt are just amazing and great fun! I would higly recommend Abc dive to everyone who is looking for top class scuba PADI courses/ trainings.

One of the best diving schools in Europe. I had my OW from Madeira but I still struggled to dive. ABC dive taught me to dive self sufficiently and improved my buoyancy. I went on to take additional courses, they were all well prepared and taught. ABC dive also organized a group trip to Egypt - cost efficient and best value for money. All members were given enough attention to course and comfort of stay. They also organized a clean up dive where there was no commission taken by the dive center. Well appreciated! In addition to thorough training and thinking along with the customer, the ABC team is also very involved in the aquatic environment in word and deed. Not only by reducing the use of plastic in business operations, but also by donating an amount to Project Aware with each certification and by having students participate in a sea cleanup during the training week in Egypt.

ABC dive taught us how to dive from scratch in a safe and calm way so we can focus on enjoying the trip. They have prepared us and given us abilities to be self-reliant with our buddies in open water, not only to pass the certification, which provides extra value. Apart from this, the quality of the people running the school and the club makes the experience outstanding. They are there in the good and in the bad moments, giving you space to grow but also being close to push you when you need it. Good professionals and even better people.

I’ve started my Open water Course with ABC/Remco in 2020. Remco shown to be a flexible person, with respect for the at that time applicable Covid-19 limitations, resulting in becoming certified in time for my scheduled diving trip to the Dutch Caribbean. Since my first certification, a little bit over 3 years ago, ABC diving has always been my first and only stop for the purchase of diving gear and additional specialties. Remco takes his time for you when you come in the shop. I love personal attention and being known by name, something I lack to find in the larger dive shops. With respect to the instructor qualities of Remco; He is strict, he continuously keeps an eye on the quality of classes given by either him or a team member. Safety first with Remco and his team. That said, they also try to keep “Fun-level” as high as possible.
