I cannot express how pleased I am with Mr Brown Specs & Beans. My husband and I both had eye exams and I had two pairs of glass made with frames I purchased elsewhere. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating in every way. One of the days we were there, it was very hot and they had lovely cucumber and mint water out for everyone to enjoy. It was only a few days before I left for a business trip, and they made sure I had my new glasses in time even though I didn't expect such quick service. I don't think I've ever had so thorough an eye exam. They're also not trying to sell you the most expensive options and the highest priced frames. They actually advised me to choose a cheaper option because of when I habitually wear my glasses. That was unexpected! Integration of my insurance discount was seamless. Everything was so professional and efficient. And you still feel like you are their only customer (even when there is a crowd in the studio behind you). Oh, and the coffee is terrific too. Highly recommended. Will go back again and again and again.

Honestly, the best professionals I have ever been to, everyone gave me all of their attention, listened to my complaints, and found the best solutions for me. Buying glasses there is just a whole experience, they have thought of every single detail and it makes you feel like the most important customer in the world! I am simply amazed! The whole place feels cosy and vintage, and the coffee shop just makes you stay for one more cup of coffee. I also want to mention the small brand choice of a coffee cup stain everywhere, it's my favorite thing!

Good example of why- my husband bought a gorgeous and expensive pair of glasses, and I separately bought a midrange pair. MR. BROWN always treats us with the same level of care and service. Now 5 years later they still help my husband with the screws of that pair (even though they do not carry the range anymore) because they understand glasses are also a part of how we see and express ourselves. The staff and owner also understand that humor, warmth and good service are just as important as quality. And they deliver this year after year! Great place to turn a glass finding mission into a pleasant experience! 😊 I bought a pair of sun glasses here last year and came back this year to buy a pair of regular glasses. Both times were super nice! Professional advice + relaxing atmosphere, which are both very important to me when choosing glasses.

I was searching for a very special sport glasses: quite high diopters + an option for normal sun block + an option for extremely high sun block (95% for high mountains). The only place where I found what I needed was here (inner removable diopters glass lenses + outer replaceable sun-glass lenses), with very good advices from the staff with personalized approach and careful measurements of visual acuity. What really impressed me was that 3 years later I needed the upgrade of the glasses due to my further vision deterioration. And after checking the vision another time, the shop staff advised me to go to directly to professional ophthalmologist instead of simply changing the lenses in my glasses, which was indeed extremely good advice because now I am wearing special lenses. Thanks a lot guys for this advice!
