Our stay in the 308 Kinkerbrug bridge house gave a new meaning of what experiencing a city is all about. This unique concept provided an ideal relaxed environment that allowed us to feel truly connected to the spirit of the city. All throughout the time spent on this charming space, we felt as if we had our very own little piece of Amsterdam with us. The house has a unique character and charm, but it´s ultimately the tranquility of its proximity to the Amsterdam canal´s that truly gives a unique experience to its guest, and makes a stay in them truly special. We are sure that a stay in any of the 28 bridge houses of the Sweets Hotel provides the best perspective and most memorable experience anyone can get of the Amsterdam´s canals. Truly enjoyed every moment of our stay in this little gem.

Located on a very busy bridge, Kinkerbrug bridge house is a great spot for people watching! Also, we were lucky to have the bridge open several times during our stay, it was amazing to see the boats pass by so close. Absolutely loved the experience!

A unique & charming way to vacation in Amsterdam. The locale & size of apartment were perfect for my needs. Stunning view of the unobstructed canal & situated in a neighbourhood that catered to my every want/need: coffee, groceries, ad nausea. There was a major issue with the locking mechanism on the second day of my stay. The electronic key was not functioning & I was locked out on a Friday night. I was able to contact the organisation & they were able to work out a solution within the hour. The company was apologetic & helpful. I am a very sound sleeper. The traffic, especially the trams may keep people awake. There is also a bar next door that adds noise. I felt very safe & secure in my individual hideaway. I would definitely stay here again!

This is not your regular Hotel Suite, so please don't expect it to be like it. The five stars are for the experience this can offer for you if you are willing to let this city get under your skin. Yes, you have the amenities you'd expect from a Hotel Suite: a comfy bed, A/C, complimentary soap etc. But your suite isn't 3rd floor to the quiet back alley. Your Suite is an integral part of a nearly 100 year old bridge in the centre of Amsterdam. A bridge that of course has trams and cars and people moving over it, but also the bridge itself is moving. Yes you read it, but also realize it. My wife and I loved it, and maybe so will you, but realize that you will sleep when the bridge is ready to sleep. And it sleeps! But, once again, don't expect this to be a quiet location. This is a place with history in a city that's unique, and thriving. Accept this, and you will be a part of it for your stay. Thanks to SWEETS for the stay, thanks to Daphne for the welcome card.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kinkerbrug. The experience of having your own little house in the middle of the city is just amazing. Of course there is some traffic passing the bridge including the tram but this is what comes with staying in the city Centre. At the Kinkerbrug your in perfect reach of all the highlights in the city but also the direct neighborhood offers a lot, especially restaurants & bar wise. In the room we really liked the design, especially the original details. Furthermore the presence of boardgames, books, & music in the room is a really cool extra for if you just want to chill out indoors.

What a unique experience! While discovering my own city, sleeping in a bridgkeepers house was a must. If you are looking for something completely different then usual, this is the spot to go. Located in a vibrant neighbourhood, you really get the feeling that you become one with the city. Really cool!

We had an incredible 6days of shooting for a short film in this location which was generously supported by sweets hotel. In this place you can enjoy hours of watching people and boats passing by. Highly recommend experience.

A truly unique way to experience Amsterdam, even as a resident. Beautifully decorated with an authentic touch, more spacious than anticipated due to a smart lay-out and all details were taken care of (dish soap, blue tooth speaker and a cork screw!). Would definitely recommend staying here, both for locals and tourists.
