I recently discovered this incredible soup spot in Utrecht, and it's absolutely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a good bowl of soup. The variety and flavors here are simply outstanding. Each soup I've tried has been a delightful journey of taste, with perfectly balanced seasonings and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a comforting meal.

Soep-er cute cafe with amazingly delicious soups! Three rotating soups daily, but you don't need to choose because they also offer a tasting sampler! Highly recommend the cheese stick as well. Yum yum yum!

Well, I didn’t expect it would be that good. Amazing soup in a generous portion (medium size is more than enough for an average person), great warm home-made cheese straw, sourdough bread with butter and olive oil with salt and species, awesome pastry for a dessert. Along with that comes nice and friendly service. And all of that is situated in a great location. So, 10/10, recommend.

Wonderful soup with great service. The classic tomato soup they always have is perfect, and everything is cooked fresh. The other soups change, but they are always good. I cannot recommend this cafe enough It is so cozy and in a great location. And the resident cat is super cute.

Seriously delicious soups. Three different soups every day, coming in three different sizes. Community tables, so you might share with someone, which makes it all more cozy. Coffee is great too.

A great opportunity to taste Dutch warm soups in cold winter, with some bread and butter and your favourite drink, they also have a huge drinks menu.

This was my second time eating at Soep-er. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. For only €7.50, you get a big bowl of soup with 2 slices of local bakery bread and tap water from the house. Absolutely delicious! They have a cozy restaurant, nice background music and very polite staff which speak both Dutch and English. They go above and beyond of what it means to enjoy a soup. The only thing you need to watch out for is at what time you come and with how many people. Usually the local is quite full due to the small space available both outside and inside. Therefore, very hard to catch a table if you have a group of more than 3 people. Please go and try it! I hope they never change and they will keep the quality of their products as high as we got used to already.

Great little soup shop. My potato soup was very tasty and very well priced. Not a lot of seating inside, be sure you are comfortable sharing some personal space with fellow patrons.

By far my favourite shop in Utrecht! The soups are amazing, you can also try to accompany it with the bread with cheese and rosemary, and you surely shouldn't miss the apricot-coconut bar! Soooo good!

Absolutely love this cafe! 😍 The atmosphere is so cool and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The attention to detail in both the concept and the decor is impressive. And let's talk about the food – it's just as amazing as the ambiance. A definite must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a great experience in every aspect! 😍👌

When I was in Utrecht in a cold day, I saw this beautiful place. The thought of drinking soup was very attractive that day. I am really glad to go inside. It was a friendly, warm and peaceful place. The staff was very friendly. The soup was very delicious. Definitely I am recommending this place.

The ‘Classic’ cherry tomato and basil paired with a croissant is delightful. Topped with a bit of olive oil and crème fresh. You don’t strictly need to add the croissant since the soup comes with a nice piece of sourdough bread and butter with a side of salted olive oil which is a lovely compliment. My wife had one of the daily specials, on this day it was the minestrone which she enjoyed and finished not only her medium bowl, but my medium bowl as well. She added the cheese bread which is good, but not as lovely as the croissant in my opinion. She agreed since she swapped bread with me very quickly. Anything larger than the medium would need a good youthful appetite. Enjoy 🤤

Quaint little cafe on the bustling streets of Utrecht. Grab yourself a delicious tomato soup for any time of the day with an amazing cheesey twist. Cakes are homemade and delicious, would recommend!

A very cozy little place in the centre of the city. The first place in NL or rather Europe, where they brought us a bottle of water and glasses without us even asking for it. I would give 10 stars just for that. Because cmon, water is from the tap and it would greatly improve the experience if others would just learn this small bit and provide water :) The staff is friendly and nice. The drinks and food also very good. I would definitely recommend it.

I LOVE this place! I usually don’t order soup at the restaurant since I don’t find them special, but this place has the most flavourful soaps. Whenever I'm in Utrecht, I get a bowl of soup at this nice cafe. The bread and olive oil beside the soap is also super nice. Their lavender cake is also sooooooo good!

Heart warming to the soul and heart on a cold rainy day in Utrecht. Beautiful concept. Three choices of soup. Minestrone. Tomato. Sweet potato /coconut /lentil. Drinks and many wonderful choices for dessert. A true discovery.

Deliciously made soups and bread for a simple, yet very satisfying lunch in the city center of Utrecht. Three different soups offered daily with bread and a combination of pastries (sweet or savory, your choice). The decor is very cozy and the staff very friendly. A safe value for lunch.

Every single soup I've had here has been an absolute banger, I try new soups with 100% confidence and am never disappointed. Even the olive oil and butter that comes with the bread are crazy good. Can be hard to find a seat since it's pretty small but it's so cozy and cute inside and out :)

DELICIOUS!!! Best soup in Europe for sure!! The dirty chai was also superb! Their signature tomato soup was the perfect fill-me-up for a cold winter day. Such a cute little shop run by the friendliest of staff. 100/10

👍👍 What an amazing venue! We came to watch My Morning Jacket from the UK after watching them in Manchester, a few days earlier. While I do love a bit of the O2 Ritz Manchester, this venue blew it away completely... Great smoking area too! Cheap bar prices and the sound was incredible in the Grote Zaal...
