I have been in this place more than 21 days. Very nice place to stay and very comfortable rooms. Very crowded on the weekends. The reception are nice and very gentle. The place is recommended if you will be in Rostock.

Very nice hostel with serviceminded reception. Nice rooms, new bathroom's, kitchen too prepare food with cooler and freezer so you can buy your own food. Stickers to put on your food in the cooler. Beer and soft drink too be bought. Everything was too our greatest expectation. Recomended!!!

Very nice rooms. The bathrooms, kitchen and common area were always very clean. It is quite close to the city center. Highly recommend specially if you are a big group.

For a nice accommodation in Rostock, I can recommend the blue doors. Accommodations and bathrooms were clean, and the bed was also comfortable. The breakfast is good, with option of breads and cereals. The staff is nice and helpful. And the location is really good to explore Rostock - either by walk or public transportation.

Stayed here for one night. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms. It was on a busy street but there was a fan in our room so we could shut the window and still stay cool.

We find this place when we decide to stay for the night. The staff is so nice and they explain us all for our check-in because we didn't make it in the time when there were people on reception. But they explained perfectly. The room was so nice, so big and comfortable. Also, the bathrooms were cool and clean. On our last day we ate breakfast and it was good , with a variety of milk bread cheese, all very delicious and cheap. We want to return to this place again because it was an amazing experience with good service .

A great place to stay while visiting Rostock. Very cosy and clean accommodation and the entire place is well maintained and managed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly

They help my late check in and give me local traffic information of the strike, they offer the quiet room, in the the other part, because there were group in the main building. It was very nice experience . I would like return if I can

Great Hostel and very good located. The place is really clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room for 4. The space in the room is a bit small but the bed was comfortable and the shower and toilettes were clean. I really enjoyed the shower. The workers were all really nice and friendly. I would for sure come back. The beach is aprox. 30 min away with the S-Bahn and you can reach the old city center in around 10-15 by walking.

I arrived late in the night, but the hostel staff found a solution. Thank you for that! The rooms are really big, so there is enough space for everyone. It was a great experience at your hostel. Thanks to the nice staff!

This summer, whilst hitchhiking through europe, I lost my phone in a tram in Rostock. I decided to stay a night, asked around for a hostel, and got pointed in the direction of the Blue Doors Hostel. We arrived after a few minutes walking from the citycenter, explained our situation and booked a room for the night. The host was really nice, gave us advice on what to do to find our phone, and even called a few places himself to ask if they have seen the phone. This service was really nice, and relieved some of the stress of losing the phone on a journey. The next day, the phone still hadn't shown up anywhere. But we had to continue our trip. The Blue Doors host told me he would check in a while if somebody handed our phone in, and would let me know if it was found. I really appreciated the effort he was willing to make, and I cant't recommend the Blue Doors Hostel enough! Best service I have ever seen in a hostel.

Love this place! Did not expect Rostock to be one of the most memorable parts of my Eurotrip, but the super friendly staff made sure I had a great time. Probably the most spacious and cleanest dorm rooms I've come across in Europe, with huge windows that open into the main road. Highly recommend the place, especially if you plan to take the Ferry to Denmark, or just want to experience something besides mainstream Germany.

Stayed 2 times on this hostel with a week apart and in both stays I had the same problem. I left the room in the morning, would put my towel on the bed and when I returned in the evening my belongings were threw away by the staff, the bedding removed and another travel took my spot. On the second time there was no more bed available as a result I had to stay awake all night, waiting for the reception to open at 8 am, ask for a new towel to be able to take a shower since mine was thrown away. Thw emergency number for the hostel after 22h also didn't work.I willAsk for refund. Is a good hostel in terms of location and logistics but definitely can't recommend after what happened twice to me. Arrive and no available beds and belonging threw away, can't therefore recommend it anymore

The manager doesn't like small talk, but he's ginger so I will give me break. He's been through enough.

We are really happy with the place. We have been there 2 times now and will be coming again next year. These are large clean delicious rooms with private bath.

Nature friendly, welcoming, cute hostel. Best location for travelers. Super clean and tidy! Total recommendations!

The hostel is right next to the busy main street that is full of traffic even at night. I almost didn't sleep at all because of street noise. Otherwise, it's clean place
