A stay in this Ibis made me cancel all the rest of my French vacation just to purge it of any ibis reservations!! No privacy. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. The front desk doubles as a bar. They don’t give you the receipt for “various” services. It was filthy small and noisy. Never again

Almost every employee at this hotel seems to hate hospitality and working there. On arrival, we were told “you cannot check-in” without further explanation. When ordering our complimentary welcome drink, we were not informed the selection, then told “You have no choice!” and then thrown a glass of stale wine. The staff are either very young and inexperienced, or older and hate their work. The rooms are basic and mostly clean, and the location very convenient.

After staying in countless Accor hotels across the globe to achieve Diamond status, including way to many ibis hotels, this is the first ibis that doesn’t honour Accor Diamond benefit such as complementary breakfast in the weekend. Room is smaller than other ibis. Toilet paper was not replenished. Bathroom was not properly cleaned.

Second time in this nice hotel next to the railway station, a 10 minute walk. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is good. The first time, the breakfast buffet was a bit hectic when there were two tour groups at the same time, and staff could not cope.

Very tiny room with a strange bathroom notice. Strange decor. Lamp hanging from the wall wasn't fixed in. Too much lead hanging. No food on arrival and no hot food at breakfast, only lukewarm.

Friendly staff on arrival. Room was clean and quiet, quite small but okay. Dog friendly. Easy 20 minute walk into centre-ville. Park next door for nice walk. Good checkout time 11:00-12:00.

Nicely located in the city center with on-site parking. You do need to walk back to the front of the hotel to get to reception ... it was raining :-( Great staff, nice Ibis room. We had dinner in the hotel, which was good, even the veggie choice was ok. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Would recommend.

Nice place, typ.Accor Brand. The name is precise, but not accurate. This is actually a 'park&ride' sort of place at the back door of the station. Depends what You Like. Lovely public garden near, good bar and cafe. But still 'back door' approach. Accor Ned's to brush up the 'attitude' of its online capability.

Good location with parking. very good service from the front desk and restaurant staff. The room is Ok and bed is comfortable. The only down side is that breakfast is not great and could be improved

The people work in the bar are racist and rude. Receptions are ok. As someone who frequently travel the world for holiday, I won't recommend this hotel to Asian travelers. Company should select employees who are open-minded and teach them how good customer service is. It's really a shame. They don't represent France in positive ways. I stayed also in Ibis in CDG airport and the staff were ok, but after my experience in Dijon, I don't think I will ever stay in another Ibis hotel again. Fyi, I stayed in February 2023, but I just remembered to write a review now.

We are experienced users of Ibis hotels. Room 106 this time met the standards of simple clean accommodation. Excellent food in the restaurant - multi-lingual staff. Comfortable and reasonably priced. Only one grizzled- there were no English TV channels at all. CNN, cnbc for example are usually available but not this time. Pour quoi?

Stopped here overnight, half way to Spain on a coach trip. Initially the place looked as it was, a high rise hotel for passing tourists. We had 100 plus passengers staying over. The rooms were basic but ideal, had a great night's sleep. Lovely walk in shower with plenty of hot water. All the passengers had a set 3 course meal of which I thought both the quality, taste and service were superb.

A few minutes walk from the station. Our room and the common areas felt newly built or newly renovated and were quite comfortable. Very good room rates. The bar and restaurant are a bit pricey for the area.

One of the rare times wish there was a -1 star!!!! Go there at your own risk. Especially if you like to have your things stolen. I traveled on a group travel package with about 15 families. When our group arrived at the hotel in Dijon, France. Five families, with us were given keys to rooms with people already residing. When I say people already residing in it, I don't mean just the bed's being dirty, because they were, and the staff said the housekeepers had already gone home for the day and there was nothing they can do about it. Specifically 3 instances people either had their backpack, laptop, wallet, bags in the room that the people got their keys assigned to. I promise you if any of the things were stolen the hotel, they would probably not take liability for it. As to the manager who replied to this post, I have confirmed my stay was indeed with you. The booking I made was under a separate booking name.

Our tour company booked 12-13 rooms at the Ibis Hotel Gare, Dijon (Address: 15A Av. Albert 1er, 21000 Dijon, France). The rooms we stayed in were cold with broken heaters, and there was literally nothing for personal use (No Water Bottles, No Water Boilers, and of course nothing in the toilet except towels....) And the truly awful experience came when my family got up to check out the next morning and had some breakfast before leaving. We sat at a table in the cafeteria to eat a mediocre breakfast of ham slices and white bread. All of sudden, in the middle of our meal, a waitress approached us and yelled in French (which I didn't fully understand), but she meant we weren't supposed to sit at this table with an angry attitude and throwing a tantrum at us. We tried to explain that all of the tables around us were filthy and that there was no signage indicating that this table was reserved. But I figured she didn't get it and walked away (shaking her head). Very rude! We had never experienced anything like this before in our lives. But the truth came when a single European guy later sat in the same row as us, but no one came up to him and threw a tantrum??? We were treated poorly as tourists in most places we visited in France. Our tour company will never book the hotel again. I highly not recommended this Ibis hotel Gare, Dijon for tours and tourists who looked like Asian or coming from Asia.

Comfy room, good breakfast. A lady in charge of breakfast and Thomas at Reception are super friendly and helpful.

The reception is not very welcoming, especially if you specifically ask about something; The room cleaners never look at your shower gel supply, it's been almost empty when we arrived and has never been refilled after 4 days stay; finally for some reason the floor hasn't been wiped the last two nights and the rubbish wasn't emptied. Not sure how to rate it, either we were unlucky, or the hotel stuff was not experienced.

Shower very slippery. Beside tables too small with rounded ends. Everything falls off. Bed very comfortable.

Nicely located next to the train station and the centre, its a clean modern hotel with helpful and friendly staff members. Only issue for me was the beds being really soft and the air-conditioning not overly powerful.

Just 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. One of the best ibis we have ever slept in. Finally, some space and not the usual old creepy ibis. Nice neat shower, big free parking lot.

We somehow had a booking for Nov instead of Aug (was a big shock/surprise to us), but the person at check-in was unhelpful and took a call right in the middle of arranging 2 rooms at extra cost. The rooms are clean and comfortable but very small. We ate breakfast in the centre so cannot comment on that. It is a short walk to the train station and then the old town is a 10 mins walk from there. Botanical Gardens almost next door.

As anticipated excellent, staff very good considering they were working under Covid conditions. Fully marks for they service as a traveller, will stay next visit to Dijon.

Staff is very friendly, however the service is not really good. During our whole stay only one day there were eggs available , the coffee machine was broken during 2 days. Even worse, they blocked the parking without noticing us in advance , they only told us when it was blocked already and the only proposed solution was to go and look for a parking outside whereas the parking it’s supposed to be included

Happy to stay here good rooms and helpful reception. Secure car park. Stayed to get the train following morning. For me restaurant was expensive, good food but small portion.

Good hotel. Good bed as always in Ibis hotels.

Very nice Ibis hotel with easy parking. Great check in with a very professional staff. We had requested a quiet room and indeed our room was very quiet. The room was nice and (as always) the beds are very comfortable at Ibis.

Overall, a fantastic little stopover hotel. Rooms were a little small but functional. Breakfast was good, restaurant had a nice little garden to sit in too. There’s a beautiful garden, just a few hundred metres down the road which made for a lovely stroll after being in the car for a few hours. We didn’t eat dinner there, but it was a short 10 minute walk into the centre of Dijon, where we found a very good little restaurant. The bar has a number of games for kids and we sat and had a nice little drink before going to bed. Free Wi-Fi and parking makes this a great place to stay.
