Overall an excellent place to visit with a good variety of drinks, especially beers on tap. The service was excellent with the waters very attentive. The food was good albeit lacking in variety for vegetarians, simply offering a sandwich without meat an obvious solution. We visited it on three occasions and each time what detracted from the atmosphere was not being able to escape the smokers who appeared to be unrestricted in where they could smoke.

Beautiful huge pub with lovely staff. Unfortunately, there are no free nuts or something similar to be serviced with beers 🍺. Also, it's not suitable as you can see families with children.

Vibrant bar with a buzzing atmosphere, many seating spaces, including large outdoor terrace, and a variety of beers and good food. We had a flight with a long transfer through Doha and my boyfriend brought me for dinner there as he is a passionate beer lover. There were many choices on the menu for draught and bottled beer and we liked that a complimentary bowl of mixed nuts was served to us with the drinks. The food menu is diverse, mostly ordinary bar food, nothing superior or fussy, but there is something for everyone. Vegetarian options are available. I had mushroom risotto. The portion was generous and the food was tasty. The waiting time for the food was a bit longer, but that wasn't an issue for us. The staff was kind, friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time and could visit the café again when we are in Doha.

Very good place, especially outdoor seating to enjoy an evening, watching football or the live music and having a bear. I asked a salad and was very good and well prepared. The client service was very good, except to the organizer at the entrance that should have some training for client service, or changed.

The Belgian cafe is a great place to wind down after work, they have a smaller menu that’s reminiscent of a pub in the UK; their outdoor seating is perfect in the winter for a night out!

This is a beautiful spot with a good happy hour but be warned: if you are traveling solo, you will not be waited on. Maybe this is a Qatar thing. Every other party seemed to get at least one person checking in on them, but I have not even been offered a menu after an hour. I kind of think I they are politely thinking I’m waiting on someone. Maybe going to a bar so is totally unheard of in Qatar and if that is the case then take my critique with a grain of salt!

The food and the atmosphere really don't disappoint. Perfect portions when hungry for delicious dishes. Beer is cold and served in proper glasses. A singer came on stage at 4pm and she was banging to create a perfect chilling atmosphere on the weekend with a great view on the city. Now, it's the second time we go in the last couple of weeks and they had no mussels on hand. So if you come for that dish like we did both times,you could be very disappointed. I suggest calling ahead and asking if they don't have dishes on the short menu. Waiter and manager were apologetic without really doing anything for compensation. We had already ordered drinks and couldn't really leave the restaurant once told there was no mussels for a few days already. A heads up would have been very welcome. The waiters weren't really caring and one even asked how we wanted the meat cooked for the weekend special stew dish. We ordered 2 specials and as per the online menu the price was cheaper than ordering for 1 person. When the bill came 20 riyals more were charged as they said it was individual portions of the special and not the sharing dish for 2. We were never told that when ordering. The online menu should also mention the difference between sharing and individual portions as opposed to number of people. Overall satisfied with the food and atmosphere, but it'll take a bit more to go back in a heartbeat.

I loved the atmosphere especially during the world cup. Large choice of Draught beers. Perfect for football fans that wants to go to watch games around drinks and want to cheer and be loud. If you're looking for a cozy and calm place don't go on games days. If you want a place on the terrace plan your reservation well in advance.

Best beer and snacks in Doha, always worth a visit. Happy Hour always from 4pm - 6pm. Place is really a calm down area and always a good spot even to visit with friends. Masum is still one of the best and professional waiters there. He takes really care for the over all well being feelings.

It is a nice place to chill out from the hot weather and have a nice cold beer . The food was good and the ambiance was amazing . The only issue at the entrance of the caffe they ask for the vaccination card for tourists even though we are staying in the hotel and this has been checked at the lobby of the hotel as well at the airport . Ihtiraz app should be enough but they insist to see the vaccination card .

Poor trained staff , no knowledge of product they are serving. Must they serve are rancid and I m sure kept open for days and get offal in taste. Visited Belgian Cafe, one of its kind with a large outdoor area by the Doha skyline. Has a wonderful retro ambience and equally good menu and service. Special thanks to Ram who paid full attention to service. Mussels, baby chicken are a must try. They also serve some very good varieties of Belgian beer.

My number one bar in Doha that feels as close to a regular pub as this country allows. The menu is limited but tasty and the service is legit. Sitting outside is an absolute pleasure due to the wonderful views of west bay. Gets a little crowded and loud on the weekends, but not because of the music, just the ambiance of good conversation and fun. In the weekend I recommend a reservation tho, but no need on the weekdays. I recommend the Thai mussels, the fish n chips, and the Caesar salad. See you there!

Lovely vibe, beautiful pub. Service is TERRIBLE! Be aware that when you call the Belgian Cafe phone number, you are not being put through to the restaurant itself but the hotel reception. I booked twice and both times, over the phone was told that the kitchen closes at 1am for last food orders, only to find out that the kitchen actually closes at 11.30pm. Not such a huge problem generally but considering the restaurant is fully booked always and requires a reservation which we only got at 10pm, it counts. We ordered a starter and by the time the plate was cleared we were told we could not order a main meal. No one informed us of this at the start. We also had to wait over an hour for a waiter to serve us even though we had booked. We had to get up for our own drinks several times. Very unprofessional. This was our first time here and it was disappointing. There was one waitress who did make a plan and allow us to order from a different restaurant. She was the only saving grace. Work on your communication with customers and within your reception and restaurant employees. It is ridiculous that all calls go to reception who say one thing when it isn't true.

The inside area was pretty full but the bar looked empty. We Enjoyed the food. We ordered the calamari and short ribs. The drinks were a little pricey and the whiskey came out very small in shot size. The service was quick and would go back again. Great for a relaxed and casual pub meal.

Belgian Cafe is a restaurant that offers indoor and outdoor dining. The famous Belgian clam recipe is a customer favorite here. We were quickly shown to our reserved table. Taking our order was prompt and the delivery was quick. However, if you were to order something new, it s an issue to find a waiter. Waiters are so busy with large numbers of patrons. The drinks were awesome and the cheese plate we ordered was delicious. I recommend on weeknights.

Belgian Cafe is a place you come to knowing that you will receive a high quality of service and have a satisfying experience every single time you go there. Frequent customers appreciate it and it makes it so much easier deciding on a place for a night out. With the wonderful staff, great ambiance and decently priced drinks, It's always a great time there! Milder temperatures are coming, so don't miss out on their outdoor terrace. The draught beers start becoming too warm when the place picks up. They need a better cooling system for the beers. Also you dont feel like your beer is fresh. For the price we pay, it's a sub standard bar. It's the location that benefits the place rather than the quality of what you are getting.

Food is always fantastic and no matter what i order im always delighted with my meal and drinks. Servers are also great and always efficient, friendly and polite. And wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat or drink with many choices (Nonsmoking area and smoking areas) makes everyone happy.

One of the few places in Doha where you can have an alcoholic drink, and probably the one with the best view. The West Bay skyline from the outside terrace is gorgeous! The service was great. I would surely came back again.

Being at the Belgian cafe in Doha is so nice. Having great beers outdoors, while enjoying good food is a sure way of having an amazing Night. To be honest the menu might need some spicing up, but it always feel like I've come home when I'm here. To ight we were served by a waiter called Raul. He is from Mexico and he really brought the joyousness in Mexico to our table. If you visit this place, just ask for him. You will have an even better evening.

Belgian is always has a good atmosphere and baby friendly environment. Food is good but it would be great if they change or add some more food choices regularly. Service is always top quality. Yesterday we went with our baby for lunch and we were assisted by Jenny and Lalrin who both gave us a warm welcome and Masum who is very attentive with our needs and all through out our dinning experience.

When we attempted to discuss our order, she responded in a manner that was less than ideal, suggesting we should order differently. However, the situation took a positive turn when the manager intervened, acknowledging the shortcomings in the service. We weren't looking for a freebie, but the manager was gracious enough to remove the extra dish from our bill. We truly appreciated this proactive response. Despite the initial hiccup, the food itself was delightful. The mussels, both the 500g wine Mussels and 500g lemon/garlic/butter Mussels, were delicious, and the Bitterballen was fantastic. The pickles that accompanied the serving added a nice touch to the meal. The restaurant maintained a high level of cleanliness and overall presentation. While our initial server, Kristine, left much to be desired, the other staff members around us more than made up for it. They were attentive, friendly, and always had a smile on their faces. We look forward to returning to 'Belgian Café' because there are still so many mouthwatering dishes on the menu that we'd love to try, such as the green curry. Belgian cafe used to be one of my favourite places in Doha, today I came and the place was very loud because of the very powerful speakers (which are too powerful for this place in my opinion, it’s impossible to have a conversation) we found a table in the corner away from the speakers and the manager insisted that we can not seat there because if we seat there we will encourage the other people to seat there, very poor hospitality and at the end they didn’t even have our favourite beer, we ended up having another drink and enjoying the great view and the beautiful weather.

Went there for their amazing oysters with a friend, everything was fine except for the Egyptian manager with the glasses who was not even able to take an order. I mean if he doesn’t know the menu or how to do it he could just say something like “give me a second I’ll get the best person to help you” instead what he did was starting to take order left in the middle of it without saying a word and then getting another staff to do so then we had to start from 0. The lady who took our order was lovely but I didn’t know that intercontinental group will have manager on paper only.

We sat outside but didn't feel the cold because of the outside heaters which was great! We highlighted that it was my friends birthday and the brought a candle lit desert which was lovely and sang for her. Im always going back for the signature burger there and fries. Our waitress Liliosa from Zimbabwe is a Gem. She is super friendly, doesn't forget faces and pays close attention to detail.

One of my favourite Bars of Qatar. The only place with a decent list of beers and great food. Place is probably the largest bar in the country with indoor strictly no smoking which is great news. The food is always good but can be expensive. Staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is always buzzing on the weekends.

This place is lit! It feels like I'm in the western country. Ambience is superb! The bartender who tended to us was great too! He gave us more hazelnut mix!!

Having worked in the hospitality industry, this place has a lot to learn. Waiters and hostesses are completely rude. Can never get a reservation outside and unless you’re ordering a huge amount of food or alcohol. They are very unaccommodating. We were a married couple spending our time and money trying to go out and have a good time but this isn’t the place. Don’t even bother. You can find more hospitable places in Doha. Never again.

The place is rather nice. One of the very few places in Doha where you can have a drink feeling yourself outdoors, with sunshine or wind blowing. I am waiting for the live music to return though... atmosphere is nice, people are loud in a positive manner, giving the feeling of a European pub or even a biergarten. One thing though, there selection of beers is lacking. Just a few cheap beers and more craft, but really expensive beers. As a beer guy, this pains me. :( Their selection of spirits and wines is much better, but not beers.

We have been to Belgian Cafe pre covid and after. The service was consistent. The manager was attentive and friendly. Food was good as before covid. Its a nice place to go with family and friends. It is well spread out with enough social distancing when it reopened. Just have to book in advance, as its a favourite place for all.

In my opinion one of the best pubs in Qatar. The place has a great atmosphere in all 3 areas - it has a full outdoor, a semi outdoor and indoor areas, which is great considering the variation in weather throughout the year. The staff are well trained and responsive, orders normally come in fast. Food tastes great and they have a decent selection - great burgers, fish and chips and other dishes. Beers are reasonably priced (by local standards). Overall I come here quite often and enjoy it every time.

first of all i really loved this place because they have the best mussels ever and good to pair with hoegarden but it was so very disappointing from their side that they have cancelled my booking last night for NYE without even calling me. first i have booked the place a week before Christmas holiday for NYE because i know that it will be very crowded due to this event. when you wanted to reach the outlet no ones picking the call and all the time it will be the FRONT DESK who will pick the call and transfer you to FNB RESERVATIONS for the restaurant booking. ok I have made a booking for 6pax at 10pm-12midnight at first then few days before the booking I called again to change for 4pax at same timings. I even sent a dm on their IG page as well. a day before nye i have confirmed the booking and even ask for their final info about nye if their having special event or so. called on the 31st to confirm my booking. evening of 31st when my friends arrived at the HOTEL it was a very long Que at the main entrance when they reached the outlet,hostess informed them that the booking was cancelled they even presented the screenshot of fnb reservations email which I have given to my friends to present upon arriving the outlet that we have a booking. It is a very bad gesture from a 5star hotel like IHG property to do such cancellation without doing any simple protocol like if you wanna cancel a booking you can simply call the person who made the booking. and also upon before making the reservation you can simply inform about reservation cancellation policy but they didnt mention anything. I have even asked only simply they mention it will be alacarte menu and 100qr minimum spend for food consumption per person. when my friends where at the main entrance of the hotel waiting in line they where trying to call the outlet and no ones picking the call. my friends and i have decided that we wont ever come back again to this outlet in the future.
