I came to the Turkish hospital to get a treatment for a simple flu treatment. I have seen a good doctor who told me to come back for a follow up appointment in a weeks time and informed me that the treatment would be free of charge. When I came for my consultation follow up, the receptionist asked me to pay again as apparently from one Saturday to the following Saturday is not the same week but rather 8 days. As a Turkish citizen, I will make sure to never visit this hospital again due to their disrespect among patients. Purely money oriented clinic

First time at this hospital. The receptionist was very friendly. However the doctor did not check any vitals. I told him I think I have a throat infection and cough. He didnโ€™t check anything. Just looked in my mouth and that was it. Itโ€™s like he thought I just wanted sick leave. Even when administrating medication he didnโ€™t even ask if I was allergic to anything. Many people have good experiences at the hospital but maybe try not to go to doctor serkan

What a very clean, tidy, and bright hospital I ever seen. I think they support patient healing faster because of neat surrounding. Registration process also easy and fast. When I had doctor consultation for blood pressure testing, they use updated health equipment which never seen before. Both doctor and nurse really friendly and always smiley. I think the doctor had great experience handling patient due to his age. Approx above 50.

I don't usually write reviews but my experience here was so terrible for a "hospital" that I was beyond shocked. There is "zero" professional ethics in the way they communicate with the patients. You can clearly see their "lack of interest" on your recovery because you are already there paying high consultation fee plus unnecessary set of medicines. I followed up with the doctor complaining that the medicines didn't work and my health condition didn't improve, instead got worse. Normally, doctors would either discuss through or take responsibility and suggest alternative ways when they care about patients' recovery. This doctor gives a poker faced reply "no your conditions are fine". So was I there in the middle of the night playing a prank? My condition was visibly worse after taking the medication. I knew it was hopeless having a reasonable conversation with him at that point. Whether you can or cannot have a symptom, the doctor decides that in this hospital!!! Thankfully doctors in my family, helped me recover and asked me to discontinue whatever was prescribed. I have heard similar experiences from others too. So this place really needs to brief their staff for the good of both hospital and patients.

Regretfully, The quality of patient care and customer service have been declining since they first opened. I have been going to this hospital for 7 years, and everytime they seem to drop in standards. I would say they can be the benchmark of the worse health service provider. This all time low was after witnessing the ER refusing to admit patients and making them wait for 90 min before telling them come back tomorrow. It is sad to say, but they have truly lost their humane touch. Shame that the management is not active nor aware of these results.

Reception was extremely slow, only one operator but queue of patients waitingโ€ฆ Same can be said for pharmacy, it took ages to provide 3 medicines listed in prescription. But doctor (Dr. Abdi) was cool ๐Ÿ‘Œ very helpful. Visited today between 3-4pm.

Excellent Hospital for any kind of Treatment. Doctors are so friendly and helpful with patient and attendees. Even nursing is excellent with highest level of care for each patient. Front door service given by staffs are awesome with best quality service and excellent environment. We stayed 2nights for Gallbladder removal procedure, from room to postoperative room services are awesome. We recommend to check out by yourself for the service and hospitality. Even insurance department are so fast with excellent quality. Rooms are so clean, tidy and no smell found. We feel we are in a five star hotel.During COVID situation, they are taking extra precautions for patients and visitors, especially in lift cues and minimum separation rules at every door steps. Thank you Turkish Hospital. For a best treatment of my Father. Prayers from my heart for you support.

As I had to do some medical tests ๐Ÿš‘ at Turkish Hospital I found it very neat and quiet, serving you in smooth transactions with qualified people, my only concern is the long queue infront of the reception counter due to long admissions process.

If you are planning to have a consultation in Qatar better go to Turkish Hospital. I had my consultation last month and it was one of the best experience especially being handled by Filipino nurses/ staff. I also visited their derma clinic (back side of it) to check if they have laser treatment luckily one of the filipino receptionist named Elmer (if I'm not mistaken) assisted me very well and even advised some procedures I can do since my main concern is my facial acne. Big thanks guys! Would love to visit again soon.

It doesn't take a lot for a doctor to be kind but somehow it is rarer these days. Thankfully, I experienced that kindness in full with Dr Rabia today. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š And Ms Oumaima at the front reception was also very kind, gentle and helpful. As a patient, all you need is some kindness and human empathy.

Even though it has some weak parts as a Turk, I have always been proud of the Turkish Hospital in Qatar. There is such a sweet dermatology doctor named Dr. ร–zgรผl Koryรผrek that both my son and I loved and satisfied in this hospital, I did not know that they are also doing cosmetic procedures, I recommend her to everyone

Awful based on my visit. No system to admit patients. It's like arriving at the bazaar. You are not told in advance of the appointment about the requirements and asked to produce documents on the spot or else leave. Waited in the queue for 20 minutes to be able to reach the reception with people causally skipping and no system for patient management and zero social distancing. And then you are told you are late for your appointment Lol. Covid patients admitted at the same entrance as other patients and you have people coughing on you as they skip the line to take your place. Then finally when reaching reception, standing for 30 minutes as I have to produce the documents they didn't tell me about in advance of the appointment. And finally, the confirmation they provided over the email that I can be admitted and relayed to my insurance provider is recended and told to leave.

One frustrated receptionist who barely spoke English and guided me really poorly just because the patients who were before me gave her a rough time due to poor communication between them. As I entered the emergency room the nurse literally asked me "why are you here? what do you want?" with a rough tone. Really? I did meet a couple of staff members who were quite professional and spoke well. But the ones who created a negative impact made me feel very uncomfortable. I asked myself why did I come here if I was going to be treated this way...

I cut my hand requiring stitches and visited this hospital. Not having the type of insurance used here, I would have to pay cash. After the stitches were done, they sent me to see a doctor because my legs were very swollen. The doctor had the nurse run tests. I came back 3 hours later for the results. I was fine, and he took me off the blood pressure medicines my Stateside doctor had me on, replaced it them with a single pill and said I should be fine in 1-2 weeks. 1 week later my legs were normal, and my blood pressure was the lowest it's been in years. I paid for the work which was much less than Stateside would have been by far. The medicine was very inexpensive. They had me come back to get my wound checked for infection 2 more times and changed the dressing each time. There was no extra charge for the follow ups, it was included in the original cost. I will be going here if I need anything else while I am in Qatar.

No use to come towards the emergency in this hospital. The receptionist canโ€™t guide which doctor you have to see. You end up telling your situation to everyone who you meet. While Iโ€™m waiting in emergency for an hour to wait for the Insurance approval, no one bothers to check on you and ask you even if we need water. Waiting to hear the nurses in the emergency room, talking loudly of their personal life and giggling away to glory. Such a service from the hospital. Guess you need to ensure that service parameters are met in all areas. As of now, Iโ€™m still not treated and waiting for the scans and test to be done.

My husband underwent a minor operation last Wednesday and it went well. Thanks to all the staff of Turkish Hospital. They are very accommodating and friendly. Thanks to the doctor who showed genuine care for my husband which we really felt the way he discussed to us the concern and what needs to do. To all the staff who helped him during the operation and those who took care of him after the operation. Facilities are clean and staffs are really accommodating.

Went to the ER to get treated. The lady doctor in charge of the ER was rude and had a disgusting way of talking. She told me I made up my illness. Spoke to me as If she did me a favor by checking on me. The nurse was good but the doctor had the worse attitude. Not expected at all. Will never visit this hospital again. Turkish hospital, you need to check on the attitude of your staff.

I am writing this review to provide feedback on the rude behavior of an HR manager in your hospital. I have observed several instances of unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from her that have negatively affected me . One example of her unprofessional behavior is lack of respect for diversity and inclusion with lack of manner .On June 18th, she made a racist remark about group of people during our visit to her office . Using racism to point out to people was offensive and unacceptable. It showed a lack of cultural sensitivity and awareness. It also violates hospital's values and policies on anti-discrimination and poor practice! Such behavior creates a hostile and unproductive environment. It can also damage your reputation and credibility as a professional organization.

Got impressed by the interior and courtesy of the staffs. Easy access from c ring road, got underground parking, no waiting for the consultation as it is on appointement. However, i booked the appointment online and it said I will be contacted by the staffs but no one called even after the appointment time. I was confused about to go or not to go on the scheduled time! The receptionist wasn't reacting regarding to this matter! Now I don't know how to book an appointment as they don't pickup the phone and the online booking seems to be a failure method. Hope the management can take care of it!

If there was an option for zero stars I would have given it. This is by far the worst hospital in Qatar. Dishonest, incompetent, and a complete waste of time. wanted was a blood test - they had a package for a blood test but instead they referred me to 2 doctors. The nurse then called me and told me the results were ready and when I went to the hospital they refused to give me the results, saying that the doctor has to give the blood test results and he wasnโ€™t at the hospital. Complete waste of time. There is no shortage of hospitals and clinics in Qatar so donโ€™t waste your time with this useless โ€œhospitalโ€

I feel safe and more confident under his treatment. He sincerely listening to all of my concerns and trying his best to give the treatment that suits me the most. The nurse aid Mr.Edward,Ms.Marvie and Ms.Renuka are super friendly and kind. They have had always assisted me whenever and whatever I need even me before requesting for it. Their professionalism and knowledge made me feel more confident to go under the treatment. They know very well what's the best way to treat each patient individually. Everyone here at the Turkish hospital made me feel like they are taking care of me like one of their family members. Would definitely recommend Turkish hospital to all of my friends.

I have been a regular patient of this hospital for quite some time. In fact, 70% of my visits to a healthcare facility is from this hospital. I have been awed by the friendliness and promptness of the all the staff I have dealt with. My recent visit was for a flu vaccination and it went really impressive. I asked questions and been given satisfying answers. One of the best things, the Vaccination Nurse (Nurse Mary) is gentle and did her best to make my experience truly remarkable. Kudos!

I came with a headache and flu symptoms. The doctor decided it was covi d with no medical report, and there was no proper analysis. Feels like they make money behind just to get positive results, as the new campaign is on the way. So I requested a second opinion doctor refused as he have the experience, and he knows very well as he is a doctor specialising in respiratory system, sure all my respect BUT... He asked me to do a rapid antigen test to determine I have covi d , I requested to do another test as rapid test its proven does not provide accurate results and for sure i will be positive, he upset with me and told the science can prove it, he denied any other test for me. Funny thing it's that 2 months ago I came with the same symptoms, and he determined it was flu, no test involved. Well , this is what science says, Dr.Butcher: "Rapid tests can detect the presence of viral antigens, which are proteins that the virus produces. However, they cannot detect the presence of viral DNA" to confirm what type of viral DNA must be a viral culture. Think twice, if you want 5-10 days sick leave, maybe this is the doctor ๐Ÿค” I did not want the days. The other doctors, so far, have no issues. I have been in a couple of departments , and doctors were very professional, very open mind listening , and explaining everything with proper detail's and are open mind DR. The doctor from the respiratory system I think, seems the most corrupted and rude doctor I have ever seen. ( I hope I'm wrong) The hospital is usually fast, but it all depends on your insurance. Hope I can help you with my review.

I was in pain and I came to the emergency reception where I find that there is one person in the reception desk and on the phone while I am in pain. Fortunatly Ms Fatima jumped in and she took me. Thank you Fatima.

I'm putting this review while in pain and crying. Usually, we are getting good service in this hospital. However, I came running to this doctor having the worst pain in my ear. The moment I was coughing while holding my mouth and my ear because the pain is awful this doctor Ugur Dokuzlar told me you are spreading bacteria don't cough or hold your mouth. I was never shocked and emotional plus the pain. He sent me to the room to get an injection and his nurse was telling her colleagues just give me the injection so she can go immediately, I left the nurse's room dizzy and crying and the pain was getting worse, I left that hospital and I went to the American where they put me under pain killers IV and they made me feel better and my pain got better. To Dr. Ugur this is how you treat your patient if you chose to be a doctor then you know that you will be facing the bacteria. This is the most awful thing I heard from a doctor in my life.

Mixed Experience at Turkish Hospital Doha. I recently had an experience at Turkish Hospital Doha, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also significant concerns that need to be addressed. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Clean Hospital with Minimal Wait Times: Turkish Hospital Doha maintains a clean and hygienic environment, which is crucial for any healthcare facility. Additionally, the short wait times, with patients rarely having to wait for more than 10 minutes to see a doctor, are commendable and reflect efficient management. Racist Behavior by Filipino Nurses : Unfortunately, my experience with some of the Filipino nurses left much to be desired. The fact that racism was observed among the hospital staff is deeply concerning. A hospital should be a place of inclusivity and respect, and any form of discrimination should not be tolerated. Excessive Prescription of Expensive Medications: One of the major issues I encountered at Turkish Hospital Doha was the excessive prescription of expensive medications. During my visit for a simple viral infection, I was given a list of medications including Advil, nasal spray, betadine spray, cough syrup, and a box of multivitamins, all of which were quite expensive. It is disheartening to think that such a prescription was provided for a viral infection, and it raises questions about the hospital's ethics and the financial burden it places on patients, especially those without insurance coverage. Lack of Consideration for Affordability: The high cost of treatment and medications at Turkish Hospital Doha raises concerns about the accessibility of healthcare for those who cannot afford it. Hospitals need to consider the financial limitations of patients and provide appropriate and affordable treatment options, rather than prescribing expensive medications unnecessarily. In conclusion, while Turkish Hospital Doha maintains cleanliness and offers minimal wait times, the issues of racism among staff members, excessive prescription of expensive medications, and a lack of consideration for affordability raise significant concerns. The hospital must address these issues promptly and uphold ethical standards in healthcare provision.

I would like to share my personal experience with Dr.Latife Bahap (Gynaecologist). I have been visiting her for the last 11 months for my pre and post natal care. She was very confident with answering questions, considerate, pleasant and reassured me at all times. She provided generous support when required. Her work is seamlessly professional and utmost regarded by my family. My stay was very comfortable and my baby was in the very safe hands of the nurses. Wishing them the very best in all their endeavours.

Doctors are super nice, but all the male staff in the reception are super rude. If you want to have an examination for a department they don't cover, go to another clinic. They will charge you 300 riyals(no insurance cover)for you to just get an ordinary pharmacy prescription. Used to be my favorite hospital in Doha, but won't come again.

Unpleasant and unprofessional experience due to the personnel at the front desk and whoever is responsible for the appointments. Went at the ER for a paronychia treatment, however there was no surgeon available as it was Friday evening, so I was sent home after an appointment was made for the next day a 9 am. Arrived the next day for the appointment and the lady from the front desk tells me that someone tried to call me an hour before to inform me that the Dr was not available as it was in a surgery from 9 am, but I didn't answer. I've explained that no one tried to contact me and I haven't received any call or text message to inform me about this cancellation however the front desk lady again insisted, with the confirmation of the other person responsible for the appointments, that I was called and I didn't answer. After a thorough check she found out that they have mistaken the phone number. I Ieft the hospital again in pain and without anyone even looking at me and my health issue. Definitely not returning again and won't recommend to anyone.

Very professional and good atmosphere. Unfortunately, my favourite internal medicine doctor has left to return to Turkey. The replacement is alright but I preferred the Dr. Shobbassi and his replacement.

Totally useless, one receptionist registering people for pcr, took her forever and when your turn comes, she tells you result will be within 36 hours, no option for at least 24 hr requests. Waste of time. After auch a long time we live with Covid, this is a complete failure.

Have been visiting Turkish Hospital since 2019 and have always found the staff to be professional and well trained. In particular Dr Rabia is great gynaecologist and very helpful. Will continue to use the hospital when needed.

I called to make appointment and the speaker on the other side said the system is close can't proceed with appointment. What the logic if your system is close the purpose of appointment is to get a time prior not calling immediately . Level of insanity with working hours

Most of the staffs are attentive and caring but some arenโ€™t. If you come here on Friday, donโ€™t expect a good service.

They even don't pick up EMERGENCY CALLS! Which kind of hospital should this be? Very unprofessional!!! After the 6th time they pick up and the man was very unfriendly but we needed to go urgently to the hospital and went there. The ENT doctor was professional and sent us to the pediatrician after checking our little son without charging us extra. But the pediatrician was AMAZING. He is professional, his knowledge is incredible and he took a lot of time to ask us questions and did all the tests. I highly recommend Dr. Necmi Kilinc! The doctors are great but the stuff on the phone and the pharmacist are giving a bad image to the hospital.

The receptionist and the nurse are so friendly and work hard. It was my first time visited here, I had a bad experience with one of the doctors, He though I just wanted a sick leave but I got a really bad diarrhea in that day, He is a rude, no empathy, no ethics doctor with very bad communication skill. I even cried in front of his room because he left me with insulted words, there was only the nurse tried to comforting me and thank you so much, I really appreciate it. For sure never go back again.

Bad experience. Turkish hospital announced they provide Antigen and PCR tests 24/7, I arrived the hospital today at 6:00am to have an antigen test, I had to wait 15 minutes until the receiptianist lady in the PCR section finished her phone call, when asked her for an Antigen test she told I have to wait as no body here, then I asked to register my QID, she wait till PCR nurse arrives, I waited for 45 minutes and no body came for Test. Finally I decided to go Doha Clinic that proveded this service in just 10 minutes.
