Good points: they have some good doctors. It is a neat looking hospital. And the cafe has great coffee. Bad points: 1. any visit takes a minimum of 4 hours of waiting for everything (insurance approvals, long, slow-moving queues for any procedure, receptionists and pharmacists to decide to work.. etc.) 2. Call system is horrible: you may have to call for 2-3 days before someone picks up and helps you set an appointment. Zero feedback on your tests. Zero care about complaints. 3. Emergency department as a whole is very bad. They'll throw you on a bed for an hour or two no matter how much pain you're feeling, and attend to you when they feel like it. Even if you're the only patient there! 4. Staff is bored and lazy and have no consideration for the patients' needs. If you complain about the wait, they blame your insurance while they almost always send wrong information to the insurance or send it late. And if you go to any other hospital, you'll be in and out within an hour, with your same insurance!

Unprofessional. They only care about money. They treat you like a product. I had a sever toothache and the doctor didn't take me cause they said he is busy. And nobody even cared that i was in pain. It's like it's not a hospital. Receptionists are like robots.. I do not recommend it!

Worst hospital. All they care is how to charge your insurance. They have no emergency prioritizing.

Why is no one responding to me? Extremely terrible service. It’s been 3 weeks now and still no refund and no one bothers to get in touch with me. Last week your public relations guy told me that by Monday my cheque will be ready for pick up. I sent someone over today and still the cheque is not ready. Why are you lying to me? Why are you wasting my time? Why does it take 3 weeks to refund my money? Why do you overcharge your patients and then promise to refund immediately when you clearly don’t? Where are your ethics? If it was the other way around would you wait for me 3 weeks to give you back what’s yours? I certainly doubt so. Update: They gave me the cheque today 9/9/2020, 1 day after I wrote the review, the cheque is dated 3/9/2020, I was supposed to receive the refund on 18/8/2020. This review is solely towards the finance department of the hospital. Otherwise, the service itself is fine and the medical staff are experienced and well trained.

I requested for a report to be sent to my email address and the Filipino nurse told me their policy is that they can't send via email address. I feel that's not justifiable especially during COVID times. I asked to speak to someone in charge and the phone got disconnected. That's level of commitment to a patient. I still haven't got my reports and I have to wait until I go and get it myself on my week off. The level of stress leading up till I get my reports will be very overbearing. I don't understand while other hospitals can,why can't Al Emadi too.

worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Disturbingly unprofessional, ill mannered, unnecessarily rude and stingy. Their ophthalmologist require urgent mental health support. That is, he had a family situation and shouldn't have been allowed to speak to patients in this poor state of mind. Waste of money and time,, with a lot of disrespect The one star is for the useless nice building.

Waiting for insurance approvals takes a very long time, although it is not taken in some other places and using the same insurance company. Advice to reduce time: The hospital obtains a copy of the analysis, medicines and tests that do not need to be approved by the insurance company and therefore will be reviewed by the insurance officer quickly without waiting for the approval of companies of different types on each request for each patient, and therefore the patient will be served as soon as possible

Overall the The hospital and the service is very good. However, any test results will not be shared to patient /client online, or by any other means, apart from visiting the hospital again for collection (multiple visits may take place). Insurance pre-approvals can take very long time sometimes.

Service wise Worst hospital in Qatar. Staff working as a Mafiya and what they saying we have to accept. Nurses does not know how to approach if someone come as emergency. Also make many demands. Go there, buy medcine etc. For inside treatment, who has to take medicine? Finally infront of uw, dr scold the nurse to take medicine from Pharamcy.

By far the worst hospital in Doha !!! It’s crazy that they even Charge you for there bad treatment, i had severe allergic reaction and couldn’t breath. The staff wouldn’t let me in inside emergency, was gasping for air and the receptions kept screaming that they don’t admit covid patients even though i was clearly had swollen red face, after they were convinced the doctor kept screaming that i had high fever and shouldn’t have come because i was dangerous and kept screaming at me to wear my mask while I gassed for air. They told me to go to HMC ER because there policy was not to treat fevers!!!!! Can’t believe it’s a hospital they just would rather you die then come for treatment.

It used to provide good medical services but since 2 years back the only concern they have is taking your money. Sure the hospital looks clean and it has mable in some areas, but the marble is not the reason you go to a hospital. The doctors will either rush you do some procedure without explaining the implications or are incapable of providing the treatment you need and refer you to Hamad anyway. I do not recommend.

This hospital is terrible to deal with. Spent so much time on the phone with these people. I've had 2 consultations already (which is one more than I should have). I need a procedure done but I can't make an appointment for a procedure because the receptionists don't know how to do that. They can only book another consultation. They seem to be trying to get as many visits as possible without doing anything. I tried calling my doctor directly, but he isn't answering his phone.

I recently visited Emadi Hospital (D-Ring road), which is a high-end facility with a consultation cost of at least QR.400/500. I had a terrible time with both the doctor's diagnosing procedure and the details (Urology & Pulmonology). At the very least, we anticipate a thorough consultation with a specialist physician (Urology & Pulmonology). When we notify our doctors about our health problems, they must at the very least provide a proper diagnosis and explain the problem to the patient. This calms the patient and relieves his or her anxiety. It appears as if they are only there to pass the time, collect paychecks, and increase the number of different tests performed on patients that are not essential! I have a lot to say, but I hope that all private clinic doctors have some ethics and humanity to serve the people with the utmost care, rather than focusing solely on making money!!

Dr. Hossam Abdulhameed is an insulting doctor! I went for an x-ray and ultrasound, had to wait for an hour and a half to get the report although I was the only one in the department. Doctor kept on saying he will get the report in 15 minutes, but took 1.5 hours instead. Upon the final call from the reception, the doctor threatened that he would go home and told the receptionist that the patient should go to hell! The receptionist apologised to me but the doctor is anything but ethical/behaved. Made me feel like I’m begging him for a favour rather than paying for a service! He certainly doesn’t deserve a career in healthcare.

Staff at Al emadi hospital are not the best staff and when it comes to the customer service I can't give them more than 3 out of 10. They are not well educated of the system, procedures and how to elaborate to the patients. Many times over the maternity check ups they make payments mistakes and don't know anything about insurance policies! Every time we need to wait until they fix their mistakes or we will be communicating with what they call PR to resolve the problem. Anyhow ! In my opinion non of the staff on the reception or laboratory registration are experienced enough to be in that position... they are all like newly hired people with less than 2 months experience

Another place that deserve a 0 star grade. Have you ever been lectured by a supposedly welcoming desk lady? Well I have! I arrived 4 minutes late to my appointment, I was wrong, I apologized. I was expecting to have my appointment rescheduled or simply canceled, but instead, the lady who was at the entrance after spending time on a phone call she picked up after I had arrived started to lecture me on behalf of Dr Sonia... Like... Seriously ! I, of course, reported her and explained the manager that they were dealing with patient/ CUSTOMER paying for the service. If it was their right to cancel or refuse me as a patient, lecturing me was totally unappropriate. Al Emadi hospital managers, please, get your s*** together, and teach your employees their limits!

There are some negative points regarding this hospital and it will be last visit for me: 1- I had a surgery and I asked to see the doctor before making discharge but the doctor didn't care and give me dischare without checking my case, and I had a complaint but no one care and called me. 2- insurance approval takes very long time. 3- some of the receptionists in physiocerapy department are very rude and I complain to their supervisor and he promise me to check and call back but he didn't. At the end, it will be last visit for this hospital and I will not come again after I finish my physiocerapy.

I did 3 tests recently and they charged 150 Riyal for the printed report. Since Insurance is covered for the cost of tests I don't find any logic in charging for the report. It is their responsibility to give me report free of cost. Any way they charged it but still I did not receive one of the reports. They said it takes time to prepare and they will call me. Now more than a week still they did not call me.

Very bad experience. Can't carefully check if the insurance is valid in the hospital or no. After waiting and doing the procedure they will inform u suddenly that the insurance is not valid in there side so u need to pay 400 riyal for consultation fee. Where is the professionalism here. The first time that a client when infornt of your desk reception you must give the proper details and validity of there insurance.

Very disappointing. I have to always wait hours for insurance approval. The funny thing is that the insurance provider has responded immediately asking for more clarification, but the hospital has not replied with the clarification. Upon following up, the answer is waiting for insurance approval without even checking the insurance providers email response after I called the insurance provider for the reason for delay. He explains that he is waiting for the hospital response.

The hospital itself is a state of art equipped with all modern facilities but people (specially doctors) employed their to prvoide medical services do not do what they're hired for.......worst hospital in terms of doctors behaviour towards patients and treatment of their ailments. Doctor often find wayout/excuse to pass on the patient to other doctors/department just to escape the responsibility of provide medical care. They are very insensitive towards patients and treat them like 'TRASH' meant to be thrown out as garbage. I took treatment from this hospital in ortheopadic department for 7 months but I still stand at same place where I started off. I still have same ailment and no cure. 100% DISSATISFIED

Every time, I’m going there I find a bad service with not qualified doctors. Last time , I called them from abroad for the PCR test and they confirmed for me that they are working at 8 on Friday and they will accept the first 100 persons. When I went , the nurses told us that they don’t do PCR on Friday and they don’t know what’s happening and I wasn’t the only one there, many families with kids and there was a doctor screaming on a lady that she needs to go to Lusail not to them because she insisted about the test and what they told her in the call center. Very bad service with high prices. I don’t recommend it to anyone !

I had surgery in this hospital and they gave me a lot of drugs. I had an MRI. We did a lot of procedures before the surgery. I didn't even give 1 QR. I had an MRI today, I gave 400 QR. how can this be? I ask the girl in the insurance department over there, she doesn't know anything. I come to your hospital for physical therapy and am constantly arguing with the girls at the reception. because they don't give me an appointment. and they do not inform about any canceled appointment. I had an appointment for physical therapy a few days ago, because I was only 3 minutes late, the girl at the reception both scolded me and did not take me to the appointment. Then I went to Muhammet Bey for a complaint and he called that girl and shared the hospital policy on the phone, but the girl didn't care. Mr. Muhammet said that they will call you for an appointment, but a week passed and no one called me. They don't answer my phone even when I call myself. I'm having so many problems with this hospital. I don't think I will ever come after my procedures are over and I do not recommend this hospital to anyone. Never come, especially for physical therapy. I hope the owner of the hospital sees this comment and is informed about the complaints. you don't even bother to reply, same automatic reply to everyone. “”””We are sorry to hear that. Our aim at Al Emadi Hospital is to give our patients the highest possible quality care by ensuring excellence in all aspects of our practice. We appreciate your feedback and we will look into the manner. Thank you””””😡😡😡😡

This used to be my hospital, all my consultations and medical needs I took from here. Last time I came I decided not to visit again. My doctors (Cardio, IM, Pulmo, Physio) are great. However, system is slow and customer service is really poor especially in receptions. Emergency is not an emergency - worst of all, you have to wait for so long though there's not much patients, some patients are calling loudly as staff will just leave you for so long in bed and no update unless you call loudly or get up from bed and search them to ask what's going on. Hate to leave but there could be other better hospitals.

Terrible clinic. Receptionists are too busy to give proper service and they are very rude. Worst place in the world

It wasn’t a very pleasant patient experience for me at AlEmadi hospital. I’m not surprised though.. this seems to be like a general trend within healthcare in Qatar. Even though I had an appointment and showed up early, I had to wait even longer (past my appointment time). The purpose of an appointment is to find a common time that works for all parties and commit to it. It seems counterintuitive to make one party wait over 30 minutes past the agreed upon appointment. What disappointed me even more is that I thought the doctor would give me the time of day during the consultation. Especially since the patients before me were taking forever. But the entire process was rushed and I don’t think it was fair to me as a patient. I was also not satisfied with the outcome of my consultation. The only silver lining to the hospital is the cute coffee shop they have. The barista kept me distracted and stopped me from spiralling by chatting about coffee for a while I waited for my turn. He was a really nice guy.

I visited your Hilal branch on 29/09/22 for Dr Wafa Fedhila. Doctor sent request for a ultrasound scan and an x ray for insurance approval. I informed the reception that I can’t wait that day for the tests so to inform me when insurance approval is received. However I didn’t receive any call or sms from the hospital on the insurance approval. After waiting for 4 days when I called the call center (after several attempts to reach the insurance department just because the call center couldn’t do successful call transfer and answering from the other end) they informed the insurance approval received on the same day the request was made and to come for the tests. Next day morning when I went to ultra sound dept, the nurse told I should be on fasting for 8 hours for abdomen scan. I was surprised because my scan is mainly for kidneys and I have not done fasting before. She confirmed fasting required so to come next day but to go to the old building for x ray. When I asked about fasting requirement from old building ultra sound dept those bourses were helpful and checked with doctor and told not required. Just because no proper checking and communication I would have unnecessary fasted and come on another day. My experience was bad because I was not informed when insurance approval came. It’s hard to reach the insurance team. Further the staff should inform before if fasting etc required for a particular test else it’s inconvenient for patients to come again.

The level of care in Al Emadi Physiotherapy Dept is superb. Their therapist Maria and Noora are equally exellent not only in the delivery if care but also in making sure the patient is comfortable and achieving the best results in each session. They are patient-focus and delivers personalized care. The facilities are complete, clean and condusive to the services they offer. The only setback I believe is that the number of rooms and the therapist are not enough to cover the needs of their patients. My experience in booking regular schedule is always a challenge. This must be addressed to ensure continuity of care for better results and recovery of patients. I also observed that therapist and patient care partners barely rest due to multiple patients being seen at the same time. I hope that the management finds time to evaluate the therapist-patient ratio and the high demands. The Call Center staff and their scheduling system needs attention to improve their service. Calling them for a schedule or rescheduling is almost impossible. Despite dozens of calls all throughout the day in several succeeding days, no one answers the calls in both direct lines and trunklines. Scheduling processes must be evaluated for improvement.

What is the purpose of appointment if you have to wait. they ask you to be half hour earlier and then you get to the doctor 15 min. Late. Again they put drop and ask you to wait half an hour which is ok but the nurse plays and inform you that I was searching for you after 25 min. But you were not in seat so Doctor took another patient. Doctors and appointmnet system much better in Hamad Hospital. Also Dr. Feels he is very special not communicate well with patient. I didnot feel ok with my visit and will not repeat it. GOOD BYE Al emadi hospital.

From bad to worse.. I made an appointment a few days before and two hours before I get a call and am told in very difficult language to understand that my appointment is cancelled. I tried to reschedule at a convenient time in another day, but the person on the other end of the phone had disrespectful language and recommended that I can go to another hospital if it is not convenient for me. And guess what!?! That's exactly what I will do, I will avoid coming to this hospital called Al-Emadi where the services are very expensive and you get malicious treatment.

Very Very long waiting time, 1.5 hours waiting beyond my appointment time. I took an appointment for ENT by phone on the same day and they told me there are available appointments from 5:00 pm up to 9:00, so I chose 7:30. I received confirmation SMS saying I should be 30 minutes prior to my appointment for registration. I finished my registration at 7:15, and when I reached the ENT section, I was shocked by the number of patients waiting. I entered to the doctor at 9:00pm. If there are two many available appointments from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, why are there so many patients waiting !

What a mess! The dr is good but you will spend at least 3-4 hours for a 10 minute consultation and medication. You need to double check EVERYTHING because they will mess up your insurance so make sure you phone yourself to check. Pharmacy is just as bad. I have had multiple visits and each one was spoilt by staff who were incompetent and inefficient. So many 1 star reviews with the same automated reply. I think your customers deserve better service

The receptionist and the customer service is really bad. They give false information without checking it out, they keep saying they are following the policy without understanding the exceptions of it, or that there is no one policy for all cases. They always waste my time and no one follows the appointments knowing that I always come 30 minutes before my appointment or more.

Hello, I and my family were well attended to from the entrance, I had a nice diagnostic and consultation experience. However I notice there are no African staff at all, I strongly recommend that there should be one or two black staff to attract African expertraits working in your beautiful country Qatar. Hence, I would love to work with you, I am a certified nursing assistant, I have submitted my CV both on your website and hardcopies to your HR. I hope to hear a feedback from you soon for an invite. Thanks.

Even though I underwent an emergency c section and was absolutely terrified, this was genuinely a positive experience for me and far from traumatic like I'd expected. I remember nothing but good things from my stay at the hospital. My obgyn and anesthetist were both amazing and took great care of me, but what truly got me to leave this review was the maternity ward nurses. I wish I had remembered their names. They were fantastic all round. Caring, understanding, professional, compassionate, and never late to help with anything. The management needs to give them a raise if you ask me

Hospital, Doctors & other services are good, But insurance coordination is very poor compared to other hospitals around. the waiting time is too high for insurance because they don't submit your request unless you go and check with them. Very poor service from Insurance staffs, they don't have knowledge about what the insurance company requests them, they don't follow up on it unless you go to them and request for initiating the process.

Currently I am waiting for my 6:30 pm appointment for my wife's consultation. I came early as 5:30 pm and when I reached the nurse is telling us that the dr whom we have has another operation. Couldn't they tell us during the day that the dr will have an operation at that time instead of we coming all the way to the hospital and than informing us about the situation. The worst thing is they are telling us to reschedule the appointment or we need to wait. This is my first visit to this hospital and a very bad experience in this place. Saying that this is a private, accredited, 5 star hospital, it is a 0 star hospital!!! If you go to this type of hospital's, you expect fast and professional service, that's what you are paying for! I was waiting for 1h for doctor to receive me, with chest pain and wanted to faint, on non-comfortable, hard chairs. 5 patients came after me and finished before me. Finaly when I was recieved by a doctor, she check up on me in 3 minutes and didn't even listen to my chest, even if i was complaining for it, and there is an international deadly virus epidemia, she just gave me a basic flue medicine and told me to wait outside to finish my paperworks. Bad service! I was again waiting for half an hour where I was sent to hospitals pharmacy with again waiting for 20 minutes for some approvals to recieve the basic antibiotic!!! Sum, for 3 minutes of doctors check up and taking the medicine it took me 2h. Veeeerryyy pooorrr and bad service!!!!! I was there for the first and the last time!!! And I wouldn't recommend anybody to go there. We don't go to hospital to enjoy and check what is new happening in hospital, we go there because we are in medical problems and we need doctor's professional assistance as soon as possible. If there is an option I would give them a medal for the worst hospital in Doha!!!

Reception is ok. Not long qeue. Only few minutes to wait & same with the nurses. they are also helpful. My only concern is my doctor who always in a hurry and will not explain your diagnosis. He just told me ''you had a slip disc' 'you need to take medicine for pain' I told him 'No' as i dont have any pain at all just little discomfort in prolong sitting. He did not even explain where are the part affected based on MRI (those C1, C2 etc.) like the usual explanation you suppose to get from a doctor who cares about their patient. I asked him what is the prognosis? how is the treatment? he just said you need physio & that's it then bye bye....Such a useless doctor! Al Emadi should hire doctors who truly cares about their patient & at least spend time to discuss about the disease & how's the treatment will help the patient. He did even spend 2 mins for consultantion with his patient!!! Worst doctor ever i experience as I've been to Apolo Clinic with Indian & Filipino doctors who takes time to explain diagnosis & treatment to patient...

I have visited two times, once to visit Orthopaedic Surgeon and the second time to visit a dermatologist. Both the doctors have prescribed me medicines and procedures to carry on my treatments. I am satisfied with their behaviour. But in this hospital, before visiting the doctors they didn’t check my vitals only they checked my EHTERAZ app at gate. I think the vitals of each patient should be checked and he/she should be asked whether he has any fever or cold issue or whether he/she has traveled in last 10 days. And I would like to say that the nurses and the reception of physiotherapy department needs training about how to talk with the patients. They must be more sure about the information they are passing to us.

I would say it's the best in Doha. One issue I faced in emergency during my last visit is that the AC was extremely cold, and I was freezing for 3 hours. The nursing staff told that the AC is central and they cannot control it, which is a big issue, because I was already suffering because of some stomach pain, and AC made things worse.

I was verbally attacked TWICE by the same receptionist. He was not even serving me. He simply interfered and was loud and very rude. The second time I visited my husband warned him to stay away from me but the first time I was unaccompanied by my husband he did it again. I feel I should call the police since the hospital administration obviously doesn't train employees or take action against those out of line.

Pleased with the real reason for my visit ...medical consultation. Things are done there and then with option to come back without additional cost within 7days. So I will rate their efficiency as high as you would normally expect from a good private hospital. Nurses were spot on performing thier roles in the best possible way I.e nice, gentle and polite. I will rate them excellent in how test reports and results are professional packaged and delivered in a smart envelope containing all detailed test and reports for future reference in another hospital. On the flip side of things, communication and guideline as to where to go, when not to knock on the Drs door for enquiries, how long you may have to wait to be seen etc are below my expectations. Consultation fee is reasonable and the waiting time for insurance approvals can take several hours so better come back if you have something or somewhere to go to. Hygienic conditions are up to expectations. There are enough parking spaces. Nice coffee canteen room.

One of the best hospitals in Qatar. All their services are very good except for the Physiotherapy department. Their administration staff is very incompetent. You keep calling them and they don't pick up the phone. It's impossible to book appointments. They should have more staff and space as they hardly have free spots for appointments.

They do have some excellent doctors. However, after three visits I realized this hospital is trying to over charge the insurance, and insurance company knows it clearly. So as a patient, you sacrifice in between by endless waiting for approval!!! It's a torture especially when you are unwell and at the end they informed you, insurance declined.

  • 1/5 Саливон . 1 year ago on Google
This private hospital had so many bad points at my first and obviously last visit : 1. Doctor requests tests that I didn’t request , probably to make more money from insurance ( even thou I said I did some specific test last year and normally you do that kind of test once in 4-5 years and this test is one of the most expensive 😝 ) 2. Huge problems with insurance: I was waiting for 2,5 hours !!!!!!!!!!! for QLM approval . Every time I went to check why it takes so long cashier said just WAIT. I called to QLM after 1,5 hours and they said that they DIDN’T HAVE ANY REQUEST from Al Emadi hospital . After I made complaint Al Emadi requested it manually 🤷‍♀️ … seriously? after 2 hours you decided to request it manually???? 😳 And cashier changed her answer to : “we have insurance queue in our hospital” … Of course I missed the time for Ultra sound because they were already closed and my doctor already left who supposed to look at the result and appeal for the rejected test by QLM . 3. Misleading is a normal treatment for their patients. Cashier sent me to the room for ultrasound that it was closed , after she sent to another building for ultrasound and it was also closed. So they don’t have a proper information about working hours of their departments and the person who can really assist you. So for simple visit doctor and test I spent from 12:15 (my appointment time with doctor) to 4:30 pm . with out ultra sound and some not approved tests from the QLM because doctor already left to appeal it. You are welcome to this hospital if you want to waste your time. I have even more situations here but this is already to much …

I've had 5 sessions and 3 therapists. They're great! They're all cordial, prompt, and know what they're doing. I struggled a bit trying to change my last appointment as my calls didn't get through, but I did it on my 2nd to the last session, and the receptionist was very helpful.

Absolutely abysmal care. Treated incorrectly for 3 months because a doctor didn't actually have the time to listen properly to the symptoms. Booked an appointment with a different doctor one week in advance, appointment was cancelled at 10pm the evening before. I still attended the appointment the following day as it was scheduled and the nurse to this specific doctor was worse than useless. Would not attend this hospital again if it was the last one in qatar. Terrible experience.

The best hospital with the best Doctors and nurses in Qatar. All are very caring and experienced. Dr. Arif is one of the best Doctors. He is so experienced that after he checked my wife he just told us all the symptoms she was facing along with the causes. I wish all doctors were like him.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Media (Dermatologist) today, the way she handled my 2 toddlers and meticulously (surgically) removed their skin tags. Meanwhile, entertaining them & keeping them busy with her light humour, understanding toddlers & being patient with the mother too. This is the 1st time I have seen such a fine lady, kind & down to earth. Thanku Al Emadi for bringing such good character doctors out to us. Allhumdulillah

Very bad experience i had a surgery here I dont recommend it to anyone, they are here traders and they are here just to make money without any care for the patient i did the surgery which was not success and without proper examination when i visited another doctor in the same hospital he was surprised how my surgery was done without MRI which was suppose to be the first step. After the surgery I requested a medical report to do the surgery in another hospital they asked me to pay fees for that and the report was funny they mentioned that first time i visited the doctor in may 2023 and i had a surgery in April 2023 and had a follow up in march 2023 i have the copy. While i visited in January , the procedure was done in February and the follow up in march! This is just a sample of how they dont care of the patients.

Newest machines and good hospital, like many in Qatar. However, you can realise easily they just want overcharge you and your insurance. Doctors are not the best, and some of them operate using old procedures. Dr. JEAN was supposed to be the specialist in eye operation. The operation was easy and no need of a scar, and he made a 4 cm scar long which I am trying to remove with cosmetic surgery...paying much more than the initial problem...(my eye was crying a lot). He didn’t care about that the scar is in the eye or the face and it needs to be done very carefully. And the operation is really expensive. And the processes they are following in everything is awful for a patient...NEVER AGAIN

Don’t do the operation for the lacrimal with dr. Jean, he will leave you a big and bad scar forever. He didn’t care about that the scar is in the eye or the face and it needs to be done very carefully. And the operation is really expensive.

Al Emadi Hospital provided exceptional care and service. The staff was highly professional and attentive, the facilities were top-notch, and the level of compassion shown throughout my stay was outstanding. I would highly recommend this hospital and specifically Dr. Ghassan khankan.

Main issue is that I’ve to visit two buildings one for doctors consultation and another for test…. Also there is no proper timeline given prior visiting on Doctor’s availability now … need to go third time to consult doctor after obtaining reports…

Usually pharmacy do not have the prescribed medicine. Insurance is always prompting for justification with code. Radiology working hours are not the in both the buildings which misleads the patients.

I went to the hospital at around 11AM to see the general doctor and I was seen right away by the doctor. There were also not many patients at that time but I was very happy that I was seen quickly and my blood test and other test approval came out fast and also my blood test results were out within 2 hours of my visit. Satisfied with my last visit 😊 I did have some bad experiences before my last visit where I had to wait 5 hours just to get approval for medicines and blood tests and they still got rejected. I also always get coffee from cafe 42 whenever I visit there.

06 July, 730 am i took my 5 year old child to ER as she was vomiting, after brief consultation the doctor advised if she continues to vomit, kindly bring her again. The kids vomitting so i went back 11 am, as she was dehydrated. Surprisingly i was told to visit the other building as out patient. I did not understand what is the point of having an ER where as i was tolfld by the ER department not delay and bring asap. I brought the kid to another hospital and they admitted her and advised to keep under observation at hospital for 24 hours.

One of the worst experiences in terms of waiting and getting the insurance approval. I go there sometimes and not to Alahli hospital (the most professional one so far in doha) because I live near Alemadi, but every time I go I regret it. They make you wait sometime for one hour and a half and they keep telling you we sent your file and waiting for your insurance to approve it, then you discover that they didnt!!!!! And you’ve been waiting for nothing! This has happened 3 times so far! The reception is also understaffed and the waiting time most of the times more than what a patient can tolerate! I am pretty sure that I’ll never go back to them as the time saved by going to nearby hospital is always wasted in their waiting rooms!!!

I had my eye surgery a week ago and i did it with doctor piar or something. I was so disappointed by how he handled me as a patient he didnt care didnt give me any instructions after or before my surgery . Im supposed to come check my vision after the surgery is done he didnt even tell me about that i had to learn about it from my friend. I wasn’t given any instructions at all and no after care they literally just wanted to get done with me . I myself is a doctor and i dont think this is how your supposed to treat patients all in all im so disappointed with the service they provided atleast the nurse should call me and tell me i have to check my eyes before they’re healed.

Go here if you'd like to wait an hour after your appointment time, get cut in line 5 times before you actually get to see the doctor, and then wait an hour again to see a prescription. Oh and the staff is rude, probably because every single person was complaining about the wait. If you'd actually like a decent visit to the doctors, I'd recommend Al ahli, aster, or doha clinic. Or honestly anything but emadi. Hamad hospital will probably get it done faster, and they have at least thrice the number of patients.

    1. I asked for an appointment from your call centre, they said doctors are fully booked and refused any further cooperation. Whereas I went over directly right after that and saw doctor immediately, there was only one patient before me. Doctor and nurse were very nice. 2. There was no communication regarding blood test reports wether it was ready for pick up. I had to call and check. Also its the digital era. You should send such reports via whatsapp like many other labs in the world. Because in people's ever busy life it is not always possible to physically pick them all the time.

Hello, My experience at AlEmadi Hospital wasn't the best one. I went to see the dermatologist to check if I can take a strong medicine for face acne peeling. I did the blood test and found out that I have a somehow a high cholesterol level. So the dermatologist referred me to the worse internal dr. Who was available back then. The Internal doctor was asking me if I prefer to lower my cholesterol level by a food diet or medicine.. though he should know what is the best practice based on my blood test results. And I found out later at the pharmacy that he had prescribed me medication for 2 whole months, though he never mentioned that during the consultation. And whenever I was asking him for any instructions or the best food diet he was not attentive looking at the screen the whole time and typing his details and showing no interest to reply to me at all. He did not even give me a deffinate time to come and repeat the blood test...The dermatologist, as well, was not even interested to know what had happened with me either. So the doctors were both not very caring and they just wanted to be done and they even lacked communication between each other. It would be better for the doctors to show more interest in their patients' cases.

Such unprofessional staff on reception. During last visit they had charged Qr 90 instead of Qr50. i went back and showed them insurance card (which says 20%max USD 14). After waited for half an hour they told me they had checked with insurance (which they should have to confirm before) so they are going to give me remainig money back. after that they even did not apologize neither gave compensation on wasting time and charging extra amount. one more thing which i have been experiencing on every follow up that they always ask to pay again for follow up even if i come within 7 days. upon request they recheck and say “oh ok its free follow up”. On Every follow up they repeat this statement. once also management did not cooperate when i told them that this time i came at 8th day is because of the delay of the reports (which came 7th day ) so they said the money is not going in our pocket its the policy of this hospital and they charged again for the follow up . I have been coming to this hospital for 6 years and had done a lot of tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, MRi’s, ECG, EMG and what not. I had spent unlimited money on my checkup here. they even dont care about their old patients who have been coming for years. Everyone is busy here in making money. One of the member from reception clearly said “mam you know its a business” Now we are planning to leave this hospital and go back to Al Ahli which is much better than this. Also i will raise my voice against them on different platforms. Dont recommend

Process and staff move in glacial pace. I spent almost 3 hours for a consultation and X ray. I decided to just leave and have the follow up consultation the next day bec I did not have the whole night for them. I hope their process/system improve.

I would Like to share disappointment with Al Emadi hospital today here, as I tried to call responsible person for complains but nobody answered. Since 2018 I never been in any other hospital than Al Emadi and always shared positive experience with all doctors I visited ( and recommended hospital n specific doctors to many people ) today I experienced Hugh disappointment with ENT doctor. I approached reception and asked for doctor as I struggling with flu for many days, lady from reception told me to go to room 203 ENT doctor. First, nurse was very rude while she came out from that room telling me in a very harsh way :” u need to wait there “. Obviously it wasn’t her day to work today. After waiting for some time ( reasonable time ) doctor asked me what is my problem. Usually when we go to doctor they check our body temperature, blood pressure etc. however this didn’t happened today even-though I told doctor that I been having fever past few days n I was expecting to be checked. Doctor just listen my symptoms, checked my throat, nose n ears sit back on his table and gave me a list of medicine that he was reading from paper in front of him. I told him that I’m worried that my flu is actually spread n got my lungs inflammation as I feel pain in lungs and heavy breathing. He said if I assume on this I should come to him which is not my mistake as I explained to lady on reception that I need to see general doctor. I paid consultation fee 400 for ENT that just gave me a list of medicine from paper in front of him without even checking my body temperature n ignoring all complains for my lungs. As a professional he should tell me right away as u paid consultants fee 400 n u symptoms r not for me you should go to other specialist rather then giving me bunch of pills n nose sprays. I’m very disappointed with treatment today and I definitely I will look for service from other hospitals in future n stop recommending this place as caring n highly experienced. Not even 1 start out of 5.

We’ve been going to Al Emadi hospital for the past 5 or 6 years and never had a problem with any of the doctors we saw or the services we use. Except the past 2 months i had the worst experience with a female ultrasound technician who not only did a terrible job at the ultrasound itself but she diagnosed me with a false diagnosis and didn’t even double check before sending the report to my doctor. I went to another hospital by the way and all my ultrasounds were normal and nothing was wrong at all. I had another bad experience also with the lady who’s doing the insurance approval at the pharmacy, she lied to my face in 2 different occasions and blamed my insurance company which i called and they have not received anything from her. Even though i made sure to explain to her that it’s okay if she made a mistake, just don’t lie to my face, she always give me a provocative attitude. I don’t think that I’m going back honestly!

My worst experience at a private hospital! I booked an appointment to discuss my one year old health condition. I was shocked by the attitude of the Doctor unfortunately. I don’t want to discuss anything publicly, I hope someone from the hospital get in touch with me, to discuss the unforeseen issues I have face at the appointment. Just to keep in mind, I have been going to public and private hospitals throughout 2023.No Doctors nor nurses have treated me this way.

Brought the entire family to see the ENT doctor. The place is nice and well kept. The doctor and nurse is very good. The only downside is that the insurance coordinator forgot to bill me the copay. They informed me after I arrived home and having dinner with my family. Staff asked me to come back and pay 90 riyals. Have to leave my home and drive back to the hospital. Very inconvenient otherwise I should have given 4 or 5 stars rating.

I had shoulder operation, the service was 5 star just like a hotel. No complains or concerns. The orthopedic department is excellent after one year of trying to solve my shoulder issue with physio they then recommend operation. In this part of the world the first they do is recommend operation... You can trust elemadi.

Im going to write a review since u asked. On Thursday I waited for 4 hours for vaccine with 3 kids, nobody knows anything until I did or asked something, there's no communication or bad communication because I heard the calls between your staff, staff doesn't update me on what's happening, doesn't call me to ask progress of payment or insurance, how do u expect a customer to know how your system works? I understand the wait..crowd..approval etc but this is too much. The worst ever experience. I hope I never have to go.

  • 1/5 Caroline N. 4 months ago on Google
Sorry to put one star but the visit was not at all worth 800 riyals for my 2 children to have their sight checked in a matter of 15 minutes. The doctor didn’t do anything wrong but there was no interaction or anything, just each one of the children was told to sit down to have their sight examined, and all was over in 15 minutes. This is far overrated for only eye test which could be done out at an optician for free. My husband called the hospital to complain but he was not taken serious by the gentleman who called him. Anyway, not what we expected from Al emadi
