You wait for hours. And then when it's your turn they kick you out of the clinic to be used by others. You come back you sit waiting for 1 hour and no doctor appears.how do they understand the concept of emergency anf trauma if a patient sits there with critical injury and no one cares to look

Poor services. Worst place in Qatar. Better to look for private hospital. If you are going there you have to wait minimum 7-9 hours. Security are behavior less. Don't waste your time and don't pull yourself in risk.

Been into emergency twice . This yr and last couple of yrs ago. Still the same. They call it emergency but you cannot be accomodate inmediately unless you have blood dripping or maybe amputated then you will be lay to bed. Otherwise even you are in emergency you HAVE TO WAIT for how many hours.. despite you are in so much pain.nurses or reception will not even bother to worry only they will say there are patients before you. But no one going inside, cos still they are not calling any names yet. Instead patients/people are coming more and added. After 3-4 hrs waiting i told them i wanna go home i will be more sick of waiting only sitting. you cannot even lay down on the chair/sofa cos they will nt allow you even you are nt really feeling well.i told them to take off the needle and i will go home. The nurse even no emphaty she just told me its up to you if you cannot wait.she shud atleast feel sorry to us since she knw that we waited for 3-4hrs and only she had to say that its up to me if i will go. then they let me go inside just to take off my needles.When im inside the room they let me sit and fortunately 1 dr. He decided to check and do quick consultation. And gve me some medications. But imagine the time being wasted . From past 3 am then. Went out more than 7am . Hard to be sick and got no money. Cos u will be treated inhumane. Sad to say.

Very long wait times with no communication, the security staff and nurses are always yelling loudly when sick and old people are trying to sleep. The hospital is modern but uncomfortable and the staff aren't helpful. The security team are very rude, including their supervisor. You have to be prepared to waste and entire day for something that can be resolved in 60 minutes. If you can go to another hospital, I recommend you go anywhere else.

If I could give less than 1star I would have! I called the ambulance for not being able to stand the severe cramping pain in the lower abdomen. They administered for me pain killer IV after which I was brought by the ambulance to Hamad Hospital (have to also mention that I have renal colic and kidney stones history) where I’ve been literally forgotten for an hour and 10 minutes in a waiting room. I come in a wheelchair for it being able to walk from the pain and this is how you treat the patient? After questioning the nurses they called me to see a doctor, which only asked me to give urine sample for urinary infection. That could’ve been done immediately after arriving no? Nothing! Waited for another hour and 10 minutes and no results; checked with the nurse which sent me to ask the doctor. I’ve been told that the system is working very slow and she can’t review my laboratory tests. I stood nearby the reception to be closer in case she asks me to go inside and what did they do instead? They called security for me to force me back in the waiting room. Unbelievable, I did not bother anyone at all. After couple of minutes they called me inside to ask me if I still have pain, yes ofc I still have pain, the effects of the other medication already went away. They told me that another about 3 hours will take for an ultrasound to be done. They asked me if I want pain killer and go home. I don’t want pain killer, I need to treat the problem not to postpone the symptoms. I just left, I couldn’t take the incompetence and the way they treat people who are in pain. What a shame! I am going to seek medical care at another hospital.

There is widespread corruption among the medical staff which ends up hurting patients. There is a semblance of being a proper hospital and a quality driven institution but thats all a sham. Nobody here (not the patients, not the staff) is happy.

If I could give less than a star I definitely would. Dr Cicy Mary Jacob is the most incompetent doctor. My sister was under her treatment since 2017 , due to her negligence and of the radiology department my sister had become a patient of epilepsy with no fault of hers. Inspite of my sister being critical they were working on trial and error basis and losing out on time. Dr Cicy lacks the ability to take appropriate decisions at the right time.I lost my sister who suffered so much hence I take it as a moral obligation to inform others to not go to Dr Cicy ..the only good thing is the amazing knrowledgeable and caring nursing staff.

Absolutely the worst place to go to in case of emergency, I went there because I have rashes all over my arms they made me wait from 9:00am to 4:00pm and still waiting and nobody wanted to talk to you or tell you what’s going on, absolutely a mess going there. Worst hospital and worst staff.. only by making big big buildings and naming it as a hospital it cannot be called a real hospital. I had an accident where half of the knife was under my palm and a severe blood loss Called an ambulance which came real fast and did normal bandaging (where i was supposedtoget many stitches).. so I thought the service will be fast too. But but but when we reached there they checked my vitals and made me sit in the female waiting area where my husband and 2 year old can't even show their faces. And than started waiting waiting and waiting 1 hour no 2 hour no 3 hour no 4 hour yes.. after 4 hours the doctor was assigned for me for checking.. and there he did all stitches. The behaviour of the nurses was so so rude.. either you can be malyali as half of the nurses are malyali or you can be Philippine as other half of the nurses are Philippine or yes you can be a Arabic who puts layers of makeup only than they will even talk to you properly else just shhu shhhuuu.... ( racism at its peak) Even at phcc (where I was recommended to get dressing) the nurses and receptionist who are basically illiterate Arabic ladies treats you like stray dogs.. shhhussh us here and there.

I came this morning to take medicine for my cough. I went emergency they said go to opd. I was waiting more than 1 hour. Because i went early morning 6 am. They said they start 7 am. After 7 they said they can assist with appointment. They sent me some other area. I was waiting some time. They checked me n they said they will send me to medical center ( workers hospital) i asked them why sending me to there. They said here only emergency patients only. I want to know you don't have any medicine for cough in hamad main branch. If any qatari came to you. You guys will send him to workers hospital. ?

This is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. I would give it zero stars if I could. We had to wait 6 hours to even get called in, and there were some other patients who had been waiting 8-12 hours which is absolutely unacceptable for a healthcare facility. There were patients screaming from the pain in the waiting rooms, and the staff did nothing to help and instead told them to keep waiting. When we asked why the wait was so long they said it was because there was only one doctor at that time. Even when we finally got called in, my sister (the patient) had to share her room with another patient and sit on the chair while the other patient sat on the bed due to the hospital's inadequacy. Not to mention, some of the staff was very rude and unprofessional and whenever we would ask how long the wait was gonna be, they would not answer our questions and just told us to keep waiting. My grandma who has also been to this hospital before had a similar experience, and so do a lot of the people based on the reviews. It was by far one of the worst experiences of my life, and I would actually warn others from coming here.

I visit Hammad hospital today to see the doctor in emergency because I have had diarrhea and in the reception ask my Health Card and assist to the doctor and the nurse explaining that I have diarrhea since 1am in the morning,the doctor said inform me to go to the clinic like abu baker siddiq. My case is emergency and i will be getting dehydrated that time. The doctor dont want to disturb in her mobile. All i know if you have Health Card and the situation is emergency they need to assist you but it was not happen.

I got accident morning 11.30am but I get a medicine evening 23.30 pm, very well treatment but it's takes almost 12 hours. Ambulance reached within 10 minutes that's very good service.

The security staff are very rude and unprofessional. They shout and argue loudly with each other while the sick people are sleeping, and they don't wear masks but tell everybody else to wear them. I wouldn't hire them as security to protect a toilet, never mind a hospital. We will never come to Hamad hospital again. Disgusting behavior from the security teams. The wait times are insane and customer service is horrendous. you are better off going to a private hospital if you are seeking a quick visit otherwise prepare yourself for a lengthy few hours of "emergency" visit and rude doctors and nurses. Beats the purpose of emergency room when you have to wait hours and hours for the a nurse or a doctor to show up.

Months, years of wait for an appointment and when you get to see a "doctor" be ready to do your own research on Google ... Some doctors also don't know the basic courtesy. Another issue is when they don't know they would rather make up something instead of stepping back, thinking, etc. I have been given medecines that were counterindicated in my case. Some nurses need to get more training on hygiene (like wearing gloves, but also changing the gloves when a new patient comes in or after touching random things). I have found that some doctors are much interested in traveling for a colloquium or conference (free), than helping the patients and they openly talk about it in the corridors... The coordination and collaboration between the departments or services could be better. If you are transfered from a service to another one, and after waiting for months to have the appointment, you might seat in front of a team who did not prepare for your case and did not bother contacting the referring team so that they might have to give you a 3rd appointment just for them to talk to their colleagues. More months to wait if you are lucky, but your case might also get lost, forgotten or even canceled, like mine, if the team is careless... In my case, 2 years waiting, no real examination was done( got shouted on by a doctor for asking for one), was orally told to take a strong drug (although no formal diagnosis was done🤦🏽‍♀️) and was not even given a written prescription for it! Their website is also very inconvenient and outdated. Other than that good equipment and if they hire doctors with degrees from good universities and with a good professional experience, they could do great. I also like and respect the idea of making Healthcare available to all for a reasonable cost, but that might change...

I went to the emergency room because I had a severe medical problem. They didn‘t allow my partner to come inside with me since it‘s a only women emergency room. They let me wait for quite long even though I was in a lot of pain. They didn‘t take my symptoms seriously - which is why I didn‘t receive immediate treatment which would have been necessary in my case! But apart from this delay I felt quite well treated, they checked everything and in the end I received the necessary treatment, just a bit late. They also gave me a follow-up appointment and did everything the way it would be done in my own country (Switzerland). I really appreciated that the whole treatment was for free. Hi Today I take my Daughter to Naseem Al Rabeeh because she was inserted something in her Nose, but when they checked her they told that the foreign body in her nose is too far, we can't do anything please take her to Hamad Hospital As soon as possible, I went there, one of the Nurse give me Number and tell me to wait for my turn, I request her to make it earlier because my daughter is not feeling well. At the moment she went to the Doctor and tell him my situation, she came out and call us for checkup, I really appreciate her effort which she did for me. Then Doctor ask about the problem, I told him the whole story, he pick up his mobile call to one of the senior ENT Doctor, After few minutes the Doctor was there. Then he told me very calmly that this is Not a big problem. And his this sentence was more than a life for me. And then he told me close her one nostril and leave the other one open , which is having foreign body, and put your mouth on your daughter's mouth and blow air in her mouth with full pressure. I spent 4 hours there and never received any information on my results. I was asked to do an X-Ray and CT and when I went there they didn’t even know who I am and what was supposed to get done. At CT i wasn’t even asked if I was allergic to the contrast like it’s usually done. My Medical history was disregarded entirely and was medication prescribed that I can’t take together with the medication I currently take. When asking for a Medical report I was told to come back tomorrow. I wasn’t sure if I would leave this place alive at some point. Absolutely horrible

This hospital used to be ok 10 years ago. Now it's a horrible place where the doctors and nurses are incompetent, rude, and totally careless. The maternity ward is notorious for horror stories against women, with zero medical attention and comforts. The medical staff are mostly recent graduates from African countries, with sub par education and no experience. The hospital is nicknamed Alkhartoum General Hospital in reference to Khartoum the capital of Sudan . The government of Qatar knows that and encourages that in order to discourage foreign women from having babies in Qatar. So they subject foreign women to unnecessary procedures as to avoid foreign people having children in Qatar. This causing mutilations in the private parts if women . This hospital is a torture house .

I brought my mother here directly from Doha Airport she got strok and were well taking care of in Hamad General Hospital, one of the best Hospital I ever seen. I am a cancer patient, the medical care / surgery are excellent. But, the administration part getting from A-B is completly broken. It seems no one looks at your file. Hamad tells you to call the 16060. They give you multiple numbers to call, no one ever answers. This number was not at all helpful to me.

Its an absolutely fantastic hospital, quality services, expert professionals, fast services in short I highly rate the facility.
