It was one of my favorite restaurant in Wageningen. However, the most recent visit (last month), I got shocked with the lower quality. I cannot call it authentic anymore. Food is good, but not as good as before. Also the waitress were playing cellphones all the time. The restaurant was playing the Amsterdam bar music loudly which doesn’t match the restaurant environment at all, in the end, we chose to sit outside of the restaurant. The price doesn’t change though, still remain at mid-high level.

authenticaly taste good, fair price, and friendly service. the mango sticky rice is the best recommended dessert. also tried their shrimp fried rice and the seasoning is taste like Indonesian fried rice awesome! especially in Saturday dinner time, you have to reserve in advance due to the peak hour.

Food was good but service was pretty bad. We came in with 6, multiple orders were forgotten and one of the party had to eat later than the others because of that. And apparently it's okay to manufacture a higher bill to give yourself a tip. When I went to pay, the amount was 312 euro something and the bartender entered 315 on the terminal. I pointed this out, the amounts didn't match and I had to declare the costs at the University. He went back, corrected the bill, but I didn't pay enough attention: he just added an extra coffee and give himself a tip (they didn't deserve it and I didn't give permission for that). I found out at home, mailed them about it and never got a response back. This is not the way things are done, this is the last time we are going to eat here with my department. That's a very expensive tip of 2,80 euro...

We had the week menu. It was delicious!

Delicious and good value for money. Took me back to my Thailand adventures. Complex and well balanced flavor combinations made with fresh ingredients. Definitely coming back!

As others mentioned, there were not enough ppl to run the restaurant. 1 ppl, 2 dishes, but I had to spend nearly 2h there. Staffs were so busy, told me they’d right back with the machine but nope. I ended up standing by the bar to draw their attention so I could pay my bill. I mean, at least take my money ASAP.

When I started complaining, it was really not appreciated. Told personnel that I think it was a waste of money. Owner was insulted. Later we had some sort of reasonable conversation, but overall it was a very poor experience. Nothing personal, nevertheless not good at all. Not recommended for now.

When we came in we were the only guests (at least sitting outside) and we still waited for drinks for at least 10 minutes; actually one drink because the waiter forgot what my partner had ordered and asked about it only when bringing me my drink. Since there was no drinking menu on the table i didn't know which wines the had, thus my question. Apparently he didnt have the time because he didn't even let us know he was going to grab the drinks or that he had even heard us. He simply walked away to ask another table how there food was. Later on he did bring us drinks but only the cola my partner had asked for. Didn't even bother to ask me if i wanted something to drink too. We then ordered our food with an other employee. I had to ask her for something to drink since she didn't ask me. We then waited for 35 minutes before we saw the female waitress again. She told us that our order wasn't sent to the kitchen and came to confirm our order again. Things like that happen but we expected it to be a priority since we were already waiting for 35 minutes. But no. The table next to us (who came in 30 minutes after us) got their food first. Which made us question what took our food so long. Then after 1 hour en 15 minutes our food was served on the table. The rice came 5 minutes later. When the bill came the prices were higher than the ones on the menu. Masaman with chicken was supposed to be €18 but turned out to be €19,50. Same for the curry with duck. On the menu it was €22 and on the bill it was €24 euro's. Not to mention the wine of €6.25. The food wasn't that bad aside from the chicken that had been cooked a bit too long but waiting so long really ruined our mood. I was looking forward to the sticky rice and mango since i really like that, but we did not want to wait another 30 minutes just for dessert. So we got some ice cream from a snackbar a few blocks down. That ice cream was the highlight of our evening.
