This is the first negative review I have written about a dining experience but it was after the realisation that a member of the staff questioned my Dutch friends that I was drunk when I complained about what was on the plate. The limp salad that I ate was loaded with salty, flaccid bacon and dry chicken. My partner had a poke bowl with a salad lacking in fresh ingredients and no dressing. The burger my son had showed a lack of care in preparation as the slice of tomato retained the green stem. I was lucky not to have ordered the speciality of this establishment which is a steak swimming in gravy accompanied by...a stack of sliced white cotton wool bread but no vegetables. This is not a cheap place either with the mains over 20 euros. If it were not for the fact that we were part of a large group I would have left after the first bite. Degueulasse et cher.

My rate: 4/5. The place was lively and cool. Waiters were nice and friendly. We ordered burger and club sandwich chicken for lunch. The burger was fine: juicy and well marinated. However, club sandwich was disappointed. The bacon was super salty and it destroyed all flavours. Chicken was bland as boiled chicken. I didn't feel anything except from salty bacon. It's quite busy so waiting time was a bit long.

Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and service. We made a spontaneous visit on Saturday evening 12-02-22 at 6.30pm They where very busy but able to offer us a table for 2 if we waited a short while. We ordered a few drinks at the bar and within 15 minutes our table was ready. The restaurant had an extremely warm and relaxed atmosphere, seating was spaced out very well. I found the menu quite limited as a pescatarian with only 2 fish options. I do understand this restaurant is known for its beef dishes so I was not surprised to find alot of meat options. The food was delicious. For a started we shared the "wonton met gerookte zalm" this was wonton topped with smoked salmon and served with a wasabi soy sauce. There was plenty on the plate and it was enough for 3 of us to share. For the mains we both ordered the "Tonijnbiefstuk" This was a delicious tuna steak that was cooked perfectly (medium) and served with there signature gravy and soy sauce. We ordered a portion of sweet potato fried and sauté mushrooms to accompany the mains. The food was faultless and we where both very satisfied and full when we were finished. I believe the one slight downside was the price of the meals. For this price I would expect at least 1 side dish to be offered with the main and not just an unaccompanied tuna steak. All in all 4/5 and a very nice dining experience!

We were so kindly served! The food was great!!!! We recommend the veal liver, the crunchy chiken, the Loetje's share plotter, the dutch bitterballen...everything was easy!! RECOMMENDED FOR TOURISTS!

We spend a nice afternoon on the terrace where we had a couple of drinks and eventually dinner. We started with the appetizer platter for two (borrelplank) which we were allowed to customize a bit to our personal preference and it tasted great. As mains we ordered steak, schnitzel and the chicken satay. All the meats tasted fine but nothing special. The sauce with the steak was pretty salty. Portions were of a good size and prices are good. We did get served by at least 5 different people while we were there for about 4 hours.

This place was recommended by our hostel. It's ridiculously overpriced and really boring food. Service is quite bad also. We waited over an hour for food. I can't describe just how overpriced. Vegetables a not fresh. Salad was wilted. They served us a loaf of white square bread with the 25 euro steaks instead of something like a salad or mushrooms, no you have to order those seperate for a extra price.

Lovely and cozy atmosphere! This restaurant not only offers nice coffee and good service but many board games you can play as you sip your coffee. A unique experience, I recommend Mikado

Maybe the worst experience i have ever had in Arnhem. Super market bought fries, the bread was ridiculous and insulting to serve in any restaurant. Mushrooms with no seasoning,no flavour, just fried. Salad with no dressing. Prices that don't justify the quality at all!!! The only good thing in this place is the personnel!

If I could give no stars I would. This place is the worst we've experienced on our travels so far. Poke bowl was like a prepared meal you would expect from a supermarket, not fresh at all and so over priced. Not to mention the 'concept' of cheap, boring sliced white bread being served with steak. And we had to request it first, couldn't believe what they brought out when we asked for bread. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff who made accusations about our party when we raised the poor quality with them. What a monumental waste of money. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Had the lunch platter, along with bitterballen and a homemade Ice Tea. Lunchplatter had a hot soup, a kroket and tuna salad on bread. I got curry soup. The soup was rather thick, but the flavour was nice. The kroket was perfectly crunchy, and the tunasalad was packed with flavour. I've never had bitterballen before, turns out they're miniature krokets, and they were far from a disappointment. Nice, crunchy and filling. The homemade Ice Tea was perfectly sweetened without being overly sweet. It was a mojito Ice Tea. As a last thing, it's a cozy place.

Fantastic service and super lekker snacks. Had a wonderful afternoon time with the family here, planning to visit Loetje in my town Utrecht to try Hun Original. It was a nice experience. And I will definitely recommend and visit soon. Eet smakelijk iedereen

The major issue I have with Loetje is that they serve their steak only one way, medium rare. And I can't do it, personally. I do find it a bit of a pity that one is not able to request it to be cooked the way one would like. The Loetje sauce for the steak is also very strange, it comes cold. This is the first time I have ever had that and if this is their USP then it's not for me either. Lastly, I think considering the price of the steak that is being paid getting, bread which is better than standard supermarket slices should be given. I can't see myself going here willingly again, unfortunately.

Overpriced and underwhelming. No major sides or vegetables comes with the dinners. Two sole fillets for 28 euros, came with few soggy salad leaves. Steak was good, but same thing, one ok piece for ~24 euros with two slices of white bread. Nice servers.

Nice location, but appalling dining experience. Food is really overpriced, for 24€ all you get is a piece of meat floating in a plate of juice. Small portions, and the sides are to be bought as extra, nothing comes with the meat. We also got 2 slices of store bread (the one used for toasts) straight from the bag, not even warmed. On top of that, poor awareness of food allergies, as they gave soy sauce as side on a supposed gluten free meal. Good place for drinks, but if you’re looking for a romantic or nice dinner avoid eating there. 2 stars because the waitress who served us was very nice and kind.

Overpriced food and drinks at an ok quality. The cocktail was good, the steak (beefstuk) was cooked well but the portion was way too small and was served with nothing other than a pool of oil. That is just disgusting and for 24€ it's insanity that I didn't just leave. You need to buy fries seprately, they were good at least. The cheese cake was oke but seems store bought. I will not return.
