Da habe ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Vor über 20 Jahren war ich bereits bei Mama Mia als sie noch in der Saarlandstraße waren. Jetzt, Jahre später, wurde natürlich Pizza bestellt, die "Pizzaspezialität", welche größer sein soll und halt auch etwas "anders". War leider genau so "groß" (was eher durchschnittlich bedeutet) wie alle anderen Pizzen am Tisch, die nicht dieser Kategorie zugehörten. Die Pizza war lauwarm, die Steinpilze aus der Dose und Mozzarella musste man suchen. Kaum was auf der Pizza. Leider war selbst der Geschmack des Teiges nichts besonderes. Längere Teigruhe hätte da geholfen. Der Service war nicht erwähnenswert freundlich (aber auch nicht unfreundlich) und das Hövels stand schon rum bevor es serviert wurde. Der Schaum war zusammengefallen und die Kohlensäure gering. Das einzige was gefällt ist die Location an sich. Es sitzt sich sehr gemütlich draußen, toll. Das alles für relativ hohe Preise. Schade.

Nice place, great food and very friendly staff. Better to make a reservation, especially on weekend time. For disabled people is not so good because of the stairs to the ground.

Charming, cozy vibe and the warm welcome from the staff. It's spacious, with planty of seating. Navigating our dietary needs here was a breeze, thanks to the staff's spot-on recommendations. Their gluten-free pizzas looked tempting, but as a celiac, I had to pass because of the shared oven situation. However, their gluten-free pasta was a good alternative with planty of flavors (with or without meat) to choose from. For dessert we were surprised with a gluten-free Panna Cotta. Absolutely delicious. Can say this place saved my experience in Dortmund. Definitely gets my thumbs up.

Essen ok Personal top! Das Essen war wirklich solide. Für unseren Geschmack fehlte etwas die Würze. Was hier aber besonders hervor sticht ist der wirklich gute Service! Sehr freundliche Bedienungen sorgen vorab mit Pizzabrötchen und Kräuter Butter für gute Laune. Die Kellner sind hier wirklich erste Klasse mit guter Laune. Danke für den entspannten Abend

Nice Italian restaurant in the city centre with parking. The food was delicious with lots of vegetarian and healthy food options.

Tiday we went to Mama Mia's for the first time. Well, what can I say: super friendly and kind staff. The food was yummy and the servings appropriate in size. The place was crowded and we had to wait a while for beverages and food, but staff made it up with their fun, attentive and charming demeanor. After we had left, our entire party (of 4) agreed: Definitely recommendable.

Absolutely fantastic fish dishes, ordered a surprise 4 course fish meal and it was amazing. That is all I have to say :)

Bad service!!! Delivery guy do not want to come with the pizza in front of the room even if delivery shall be at the door. Price is 5€ bigger than on Lieferando website. Pizza was not sliced, no cutlery, no napkins.

Unschlagbar die beste Pizza die ich je gegessen habe! Auch die glutenfreie Pizza war super lecker und Weltklasse. Das Ambiente war tiptop und das Personal super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Essen ist wirklich gut und wir gehen gerne dort hin. Allerdings ist es auch nicht gerade günstig und dafür erwarte ich etwas besseren Service (aufmerksamer, öfter zB)

Ganz hervorragendes Essen, vorzüglicher Geschmack, tolle Optik, dazu ein vorzüglicher, höchst aufmerksamer Service. Was will man mehr? Für uns einer der besten Italiener der letzten Jahre.Wir kommen wieder!

Ein insgesamt sehr gutes Restaurant ist hier vorzufinden. Nettes Ambiente, sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal und einladende Ästhetik erwarten den Gast. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung und die Qualität der Gerichte ist ebenfalls gut. Auch geschmacklich kann das Restaurant punkten. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant gerne weiter.

Nice atmosphere, big variety of vines, but the main course was not tasty. And "black" beer was not the one, that I expected.

A cozy place to eat Italian food in Dortmund. The menu has many options and the desserts are really good. You can also enjoy the spirits drinks and beers!

SOme other places in the area do a beter pizza.Nonetheless i like this place. Decent food and very nice setting inside and outside.
