The Bluffs are one of my favorite places to go for a good sunset or when storms are rolling in and out of the area. The area is super exposed so I don't recommend being up there when lightning is rolling through the there due to the lack of cover. That being said, the views up the front range and down towards the springs are absolutely phenomenal! Some of the best sunsets happen right over the mountains and you are high up enough at this vantage point to see them perfectly! The views of Denver at night here are spectacular as well. I highly recommend this spot for anyone that wants a view from above the city without any obstructions!

Gorgeous sunset views. Not overly crowded, plenty of parking. Depending on the route taken, you can get a brisk 2-3 mile hike in with most of the elevation gain in the first 0.5-1 mile. Such a pretty view- downtown, DTC, castle rock, Lone Tree, the Rocky Mountains! Panoramic. Love this to unwind and see wildlife too!

This place is really beautiful. I enjoyed the scenic views. It just brings so much calm and satisfaction just being here and taking a stroll in the evening. I envy the people living near this trail. ๐Ÿ™‚ It's recommended to wear proper hiking shoes as there are lot of small stones on the trail and there is good chance to slip and hurt yourself.

What a great trail to hit on the way home or anytime. Amazing views of DTC, Downtown and the Front Range. Often see dear and wildlife near the trail. You would think you were out in the country, yet, right behind Target. Love the convenience of the location.

This is a great park for running and mountain bike conditioning training. Both directions on the loop trail provide moderate inclines with great views at the top. The loop is about 2.4miles, but you can make it a three mile loop with the lookouts. I highly recommend going around sunset.

Views in all directions. No shade. Lots of fun mud from snow melt. All dogs on leash, thankfully. One amazing cat (on leash) racing the trail. Plenty of mule deer grazing. Great elevation changes. Excellent hike for cool weather or cloudy days. Bring water for drinking, and bags or brushes for shoes on muddy days.

This hike is amazing with the vast front range mountain past downtown and tech center view. A little elevation change to make it a challenge, wide dirt trail, a loop, plus a big parking lot. A little muddy on northside but overall good shape for dirt trails this time of year.

Checked this place out tonight and enjoyed it. There are not lights except those coming off of houses so maybe not the best place to stay after dark (as I was when finishing and thatโ€™s likely why they are closed an hour after sunset) but it was a satisfying walk!

Two miles-ish of uphill gravel/dirt path to truly amazing 360 degree views! Uphills are moderate, but steady (downhills on the way back). I was there at sunset and dusk, very beautiful vantage point! Highly recommend to anyone who can go the four miles round-trip.

Very nice walking/hiking trail in Lone Tree. It provides beautiful views of the tech center and the mountains. Multiple connecting trails if you want to extend your hike. A fair amount of elevation climbs and descents, but nothing extreme. They are gradual.

Great local trail to just drop in and get some decent cardio going. Biggest plus being that it is almost in your back yard if youโ€™re local! However itโ€™s just that, a workout trail (especially during summer) as there are some decent inclines and you can take the back loop to extend your session. No shade, no trees and the terrain is extremely boring for as far as mountain biking goes. Expect lots of gravel and sandy patches, rocks too. The trail gets pretty rutted and washed out after some good rainfall so watch out for that. There is an epic way to come down if you take the back path (go right once youโ€™ve reached the summit) keep going for a couple more miles until you see a sign to go left to Cabelaโ€™s. You can absolutely just drop in and bomb it all the way down back into town, that is your reward for all your hard work. Donโ€™t forget to take in the views at the summit, too! Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿป

This is a nice little trail with stretches of incline and decline. When I went it was empty, a tad windy, but empty. Itโ€™s a nice wide trail, too, which allows plenty of room for both directions of traffic, including cyclists.

Awesome place to hike, not too hard but not super easy either.

not too much to feast your eyes on. dirt path that goes for miles and splits multiple ways however the best views are of interstate or small rolling hills. very private however for those wanting some alone time. would be a great beginner hike/bike. iโ€™ve seen lots of snakes in the warmer months

I love The Bluffs, get out there in the early morning or later evening as it's baron land, Power Hike/Run around it twice in 50-55 minutes and you'll feel just exerted enough. Be prepared to get rude looks or comments if you're passing slower Hikers on the weekends. Don't even expect slower users to scoot over if you're passing, that's unheard of here, and don't forget Dogs take preference to Humans on Trail, so run into the brush if someone is walking their dog as it won't be reeled in ๐Ÿ˜€
