A very nice hotel. I've stay there every year when visiting the Southern 100 motorcycle racing. The food is good and the staff are always obliging. It's not the Ritz but very good value for the money. I'll be back.

Great place to stay for a long or short break. The staff are friendly and helpful, even telling you the best places to park during the ongoing promenade works. The breakfasts are tasty and a good size portion. Rooms are clean and tidy and come complete with tea and coffee making facilities. Lift to all floors. Looking foward to returning for another enjoyable stay.

It's a wonderful location right on the sea front, walking distance to everywhere. Watching the ferries come in, watching the sea. Well appointed, modern. Everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Wifi isn't perfect throughout but when you get it it's absolutely fine. Excellent breakfast. A few extras you can ask for if you order the previous day (kippers, mushrooms for example) but all beautifully cooked. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Happy to give advice on where to go to eat, have a drink, where to go on the island, newcomers suggestions. Told us about the disc parking system in place and were even able to give us a disc which would have caught us out had we not known! We managed to throw a real curve ball at them wanting 2 different breakfasts at 2 completely different times for one morning and they more than met the challenge bending over backwards to accommodate our requests. Personal thanks and gratitude to Ciarán for making our stay as wonderful as it was.

The room was more than adequate.Good comfy beds, lashings of hot water,decent enough shower. Breakfast could be improved on.Why do chefs insist on cutting tomatoes the wrong way?Fried eggs not good at all. Hotel we'll position for ferry/electric railway & beach.

Dirty, Unsafe and Unsecure, Family room on 3rd floor with a window that wont close, Really Safe for kids. No staff in building for help or security. Room not cleaned, previous tenants rubbish under beds. Extractor fan not working and shower screen sealed to bath so you cant reach to turn on taps or shower without getting into bath, not great with kids to clean. Clock/ phone don't work, toiletries not replaced. Breakfast rushed and had to ask for basics, bowls, sugar, juice etc. Lounge damp and smelly with mildew on sofas. Computer suite none existent.
