My husband wanted the menu Jules Verne and I just wanted a salad as a main course. That wasn't possible ! The waiter said he had many complaints about that and that situation happens each week... My husband had to choose something else because I didn't want to choose the same menu.. If my husband would have been on his own, he would have had his menu.. but not in my presence ! It's completely ridiculous. We would have paid much more.. Finally, we just had a meal and finished our evening in another place in Yvoire, where we were "allowed" to choose all the things we wanted in their menu. Also, we are not crazy about FROZEN french fries, it is what we really had...

The worse service I have ever had in my life. The most insolent people I have ever seen. They haven't even excused themselves. I remember it, even it has been 2 years ago. We were absolutely stupid to wait for 1,5 hour to be served. Well, at least I still remember it. And their insolent tone! My GOD! NO WAY! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!! p.s. As far as I see from the others they still continue to exist and they have not changed. And they reply to everyone the same text which has nothing to do with reality. Their license has to be taken off!!!

Don't look any further and stop by the Jules Vernes where you will be welcomed with open arms by a friendly and professional staff. Don't forget to enjoy a bottle of wine on the terrace looking over the lake, 100% recommended.

Lovely place !! Excellent fillet de perche .The staff are pleasant and helpful. Best of all is the view across the lake either from the restaurant or, better still, the terrace . Beautiful, old building with atmosphere. Very good food , excellent ingredients, well prepared and well presented ... good value . ;-) This is most most charming place .

Services totally incompetent, a total failure. Waited more than 20 minutes to get seated. The terrass was half empty. Then another 20 min to get the table dressed and order going. It was not even a busy day in summer time. Complete chaos and desorganization with waitress running like headless chicken. Desserve to be out of business if it was not for the spot

The Filet de Perche was bad, we arrived at the restaurant and waited 1 hour for the meal. The soup was not hot. It is a perfect spot, beautiful place but very bad meal.

I think I ate the best frog legs in my life. My friend prefers the blue lobster just roasted properly. Super service very attentive. thanks again to Lucie.

Food in the Restaurant is ok but restaurant service is not professional.

Such a charming place! We had lunch on a Saturday at the restaurant of the hotel, on the terrace, with our two kids, 3 YO and 18 MO. The staff was very kid friendly, we felt warmly welcomed. They brought crayons and coloring books to keep the kids busy. And kept interacting with them in a very kind manner. The service was top notch and really fast. Our meals were excellent, well presented, and served warm. Everyone, including the kids, really enjoyed it. We highly recommend this place, not only is the food really good, but the staff is great, the location is perfect with view on the lake, topped with a beautiful setting of growing vines above the terrace.

Lovely location, food average, price ok. Probably wouldn’t come back but wasn’t really disappointed either. Hmm, just nothing “wow” really.

Rom ok, clean and comfortable bed. Service is ok except the manager that was quite impatient. Luckily the girl at the front desk was very professional and helpful, actually she should be managing the hotel, she has good manners towards the guests The 5 stars above is for her only. The location is good in the center of Yvoire, however the parking garage is far away...
