We wanted to try this spot for breakfast and will now mark it off our list as another place in the dover area not to go for breakfast. The food was cold and overcooked, the only part of my husbands platter that was decent was French toast. His meal came with other items as a platter but when brought out only had French toast and 2 eggs (menu says 3) and he had to ask for his meats which took another few minutes to arrive. The bacon was literally so dry it wasn't even greasy and honestly looked like it had been out for a week, the sausage tasted almost as if it was spoiled. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was cold and the Canadian bacon was overly fatty. Our waitress apologized when she came to give us our check after asking if something was wrong after seeing our full plates and offered to refund my sandwich, but it wasn't her fault the food was terrible. Could we have complained and asked for new dishes, yes. But honestly we both lost our appetites after seeing and tasting what we got. Breakfast is not something that should be so hard to make decent....not even amazing, just edible but this was flat out inedible.

Waiter brought mains while we were half way through our starters. I ordered the prime rib and this was what came. Was awful. Prime rib was $24 dollars also. The calamari for starters was nice though.

Italian cuisine. Mexican. American. This place is a family owned spot with amazing food. A must try. I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to frequent. Breakfast is fresh and not greasy. Lunch: Salads are crisp and fresh. Wraps and cheese steaks- amazing. I had dinner chicken marsala last week - absolutely delish. Definitely give it a try. Oh - portions are big if you are a big eater…

Worst meal ever ,order the prime rib got meat more the texture of pot roast ???string beans way under cooked .only good thing I can say about the meal the mash potatoes were pretty good.we ordered from the last menu sent price was 16.95 new price23.95 never again!!!

Romano's is the standard barrier in which other dine-in restaurants should be judged. From the moment you walk inside you'll be treated as if you are a member of their family. We were promptly greeted and shown to our seats, provided with menus and our drink orders taken. We ordered the 'Taco Pizza' which is incredible. The amount of toppings to crust ratio is right on point. I don't normally care for a thin, crispy crust on a pizza, but Romano's is the perfect crust for this Taco Pizza. It's topped with fresh ingredients and served with both a red & green sauce on the side. While both are rather tasty, you may want to drizzle both on your slice, combine the flavors and boost the already incredible pizza flavors. We were there late in the day and never felt rushed as the clock ticked closer to the posted closing time. In fact, other customers arrived within 15 min of closing time and were greeted in the same manner as we were and promptly seated. We ordered 'Zeppole' for dessert and they were mouthwatering delicious, served hot & freshly prepared. Recommend. Oh, and our drinks never ran empty and were refilled promptly. Eating at Romano's on 09 Aug, 2023 was a top tier experience. You should put them on your list of places to eat when in this area.

Incredible menu (Italian & Mexican food -- extensive selections in both) expertly prepared. On this occasion (11/10/23) my wife ate Italian and I ate Mexican. The preparation of both dishes was excellent! Fresh ingredients! Service was very good. Will return!

Placed an order with delivery that cost over $70. Very disappointed with the Sicilian pizza. The crust was so dry we couldn't eat it. It went in the trash. But that wasn't my initial complaint. I called because I ordered volcano cake, which the menu states comes with icecream. We got the cake but no icecream! The person I spoke to informs me that icecream no longer comes with volcano cake. I was never called and informed of this change and to see if I still wanted the desert. I told him that it states in the menu that it comes with icecream, which he was very short with me and replied "it no longer comes with icecream". Very disappointed with the way this was handled. I will never order from them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. All over a scoop of icecream!!
