1st time stopping here, passed by for yrs & never knew it was tucked back in this little plaza on the corner of Dover Rd & Spring St! So Very Glad We Found This Place!!! Menu made us both laugh, whoever made it, Hats Off To You! We got the Sampler Platter - picked Fried Mushrooms, Onion Rings & Pickles! I had the Philly Steak Sandwich & Fries & my husband got the Chicken Fajitas & Fries! We both loved everything! The young lady that waited on us was Extremely Nice, Polite & Friendly! So was the young man that greeted us & cashed us out! Definitely Recommend This Place To Everyone!!!

We liked this place so much the first night, we came back for breakfast and supper the next night! The food was great, the decor and menu delightful. We are so thankful that we found this wonderful diner. We ordered country fried pork chop, country fried chicken, the steak skillet, the breakfast special, appetizer platter, fried mushrooms, sirloin, smothered chicken, fajitas, strawberry shortcake, chocolate sundae, Hershey pie and brownie avalanche. None of the food disappointed. Our waitress, Kayleen was wonderful ❤ such a great experience!

I will give this place another try to see if I may have been here on an off day or fluke. (Maybe under staffed) The menu will give you an lol The wall decor is humorous Not a lot of parking. Very small restroom. It can become very very busy with limited seating. Frugally, We ordered the lunch menu. The catfish comes with only one smallISH piece & 2 sides. My fries were cold, old & soggy, hence not eatable. The chicken tenders come in three BIG pieces& 2 sides (so if your hungry go that route) My grandson loved the veggies. The fish had a delicious (different than expected) taste. They do serve diet Dr Pepper which is always a plus for me. This is local, down home kind of restaurant. Everybody knows everybody

We've visited Dover Grille a few times since moving to Dover and have never been disappointed. My kids love the variety of items! My son said I have to give 5 stars just for the biscuits and gravy 😄! Did I mention how wonderful the staff was?? Nothing but the best service!!

Wide selection of choices. Food prepared fresh and served hot. Service was friendly and warm. Atmosphere was inviting and I enjoyed looking at the many photos and plaques on the walls that detailed the history and people of this place. Added to my list of stops when paying through here.

We love this place and eat here every time we visit. We have had breakfast and lunch here. The highlights are fried mushrooms, the burgers and all the breakfast menu.

If you're ever in downtown Dover and don't visit The Dover Grille for lunch you're missing a great place to chow down! The atmosphere is friendly and they have all kinds of memorabilia on the walls, both historic and funny. Service is quick and attentive and the food is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a first class dining experience.

We were staying in Dover for a week for New Years and visiting family. We decided to try this restaurant. Its now one of my favorite restaurants. I loved our waitress Christal. And if you love Jesus and food, this is the place ;)

Super small servings, quick to bring food out but it was cold. Id rather wait the extra minutes for it to be warm. Only thing that tasted good was my husband's tatter tots, they were hot.
