Best Mexican food in Dover with very friendly service!! These are phone pictures and everything tastes as good as it looks.

We hadn't visited in a while, and it was refreshing to get the excellent service and food.

Kind of just okay. They definitely managed to fix their oversalting problem, so that's a great start. The fajita del Mar was delicious, the drunk chimi was also tasty. My deluxe burrito was kind of just okay. Definitely prefer La Tonelteca to this place. I am dropping one star because they sometimes don't get your order right and then give you a hard time about it. They messed up twice in a row. There goes another star.

Great Mexican food. Generous portions at an amazing price. I had the Grande Special dinner plate. It is somewhat of a sampler of sorts. Best bang for your buck in my opinion. Two plates worth of food for 12 bucks. Can't beat it.

Great place! My favorite Mexican restaurant so far in Dover, compared two others on Dupont. The other two are good, but this place is the best and offers military discount. I like the restaurant layout and the food is great. Servers are friendly and responsive.

Went there for dinner tonight with my wife. Never been there before. Very clean and staff was very accommodating. A lot of options to choose from. Food was good, not a lot of spices so flavor was kind of bland. It was good, but just not a lot of kick to it. But we just had tacos and taco bowl. 🌮

I love this restaurant!! Best Mexican food in Dover. The portions are huge and the prices are responsible. I recommend the chicken enchiladas plate with rice and beans. Yummy😊

I paid $8 for guacamole, and I got a plate full of tomatoes and onions with maybe 1/4 of an avocado in chunks. Service was friendly but slow even though it wasn’t busy at all. The rest of the food was okay but nothing special. I also got a burrito which was fine, and it came with fries that seem like a frozen bag from ore-ida or something that you get from the grocery store.

Ordered takeout, food was very good! The girl at the counter was super sweet and confirmed everything was in the bag. It was a 20 minute drive home so food wasn't as hot as I'd like but that's my fault for living so far from them. Will definitely return but for dine in next time!

My husband loves the steak fajitas! I tried the chicken chimichangas which were ok. The chicken was dry but the cheese sauce on top added moisture. The guacamole was fresh. I enjoyed it. The floor was very slippery for some reason. Staff was nice. We arrived just before the dinner rush.

Our first time here. Food was very good. Staff was very nice. They were really busy but we only waited about 15 minutes for our table. My granddaughter goes to college here and she love this place. She was right it is very good. We will come back. Thank you for making our dinner great. 💞

Got order wrong repeatedly. Ordered shrimp tacos with no cheese. Gave me tacos covered in cheese. I don’t like sending things back, but I’m lactose intolerant and can’t eat cheese. They bring back plain chicken tacos. I didn’t want to be a bother and send it back twice, so I just ate them. They were so salty I couldn’t finish. An hour after leaving I’m vomiting. 99% sure they gave me food poisoning. We won’t be back.

Always a great experience, very friendly staff and tasty food. Edit: I have been eating here for years, last night my wife and I stopped and I tried their "new" seafood soup. It was INCREDIBLE! I've never had a bad meal there or bad service.

We ordered guacamole, fajitas, chicken enchiladas and quest chorizo. The only thing good was the salsa. I have never had a bad guacamole until here. Service was also poor-waitress (server 15) seemed annoyed we were there-never smiled and never came to refill our drinks or pick up the check and it wasn’t busy. Hope you had a better experience than we did.

Food was very good. Street tacos and chicken shrimp fajitas were great. Had a little language barrier with server but we muddled through since she was pleasant. Bar drinks were good. We arrived close to closing time and most of staff seemed preoccupied but we attributed that to "time to go home brain." Would definitely visit them again. Guess what? Went back again! Love this place! Great food. This time it was chicken quesadilla, chicken tamale and a Perfect Margherita (top shelf). Daniel was the best waiter! Whenever I'm in town they will see me!

Fast. Average. And what I needed for lunch! You gave me what I needed and I’ll give you 5 stars for that! Margarita- yummy Enchiladas, rice and beans - warm and tasty like mom makes! Chips - a little overcooked and the oil you fry them in needs to be changed, but it’s Sunday and your busy! I get it! Service - average and ordinary like most places in America today Would I go back? Yup….because I love Mexican food!

If you aren't sure, the arroz con pollo is delicious (a good meal for lunch), the tacos are tasty, and though I've never had them, friends who go with me say the fajitas are amazing - they smell amazing as well. Staff are kind, service is quick, and food is reasonably priced.
