I have eaten here many times with business colleagues and am always satisfied with the food and the friendly service. I have only held back one star because eating in the main dining room at the rear can feel a little cold and bleak - but that is because it is reproducing a very traditional restaurant environment that feels unchanged since the 1880s. This will not be to everyone's taste and it is definitely more cosy in the front part but for anyone wanting traditional German cuisine in a traditional environment, I can heartily recommend it. My American colleagues seem to be extremely happy when I take them there.

People very helpfull and cordial. The food is very good and the price is more then fare. Truly recomend, good place to be and enjoy

We have been coming to theses Gasthous for over 15 years and make a point to to eat here every time we fly our out of Frankfurt. In fact we go go out of our way to fly out of Frankfurt so we can stop by a abreast German meal.

Typical German/Bavarian food. Always good, can especially recommend 1/2 Schweinshaxe.
