3/5 The B. 10 months ago on Google
I
have
been
looking
to
try
this
place
out
for
some
time
as
I
just
love
Indian/Pakistani/Ceylon
food.
Had
the
chance
to
stop
by
tonight
and
ordered
a
few
dishes
to
take
away.
Lamb
achar
gosht,
tandoori
chicken
with
mint
sauce,
and
a
garlic
naan.
The
achar
gosht
was
very
tasty
and
well
spiced,
yet
I
missed
the
garlic
and
ginger
flavours.
The
tandoori
chicken
was
unfortunately
dry,
and
the
garlic
naan
also
too
dry
and
floury.
Both
mains
were
served
with
ample
spot
on
cooked
rice.
The
portion
sizes
were
more
than
ample
for
the
current
prices.
I
sat
in
the
snack
bar
(imbiss)
whilst
my
food
was
prepared
-
30
min
prep.
time
announced,
and
heard
the
microwave
used
a
few
times.
I
know
food
preparation,
and
it
is
never
easy
when
you
do
not
know
what
orders
are
coming
in
-
this
establishment
is
more
catered
for
delivery.
I
would
order
curries
here
again,
yet
not
tandoori
cooked
meats
due
to
its
dryness,
leading
me
to
suspect
that
it
was
pre
cooked
in
the
tandoori
oven
and
flashed
-
reheated
in
the
microwave.
The
tandoori
chicken
was
bland
for
my
liking,
yet
the
lamb
achar
gosht
well
spiced
for
a
dish
served
in
Germany
-
yet
lacking
in
garlic
and
ginger
for
my
taste.
All
in
all
well
worth
the
price,
yet
3
star
for
me.
An
establishment
that
names
itself
as
Tandoori
should
live
up
to
the
name,
I
even
asked
if
they
had
a
tandoori
oven,
where
the
reply
was
yes.
I
should
have
asked
if
tandoori
items
are
grilled
fresh
-
which
I
suspect
mine
was
not
due
to
the
utter
dryness
of
the
well
sized
4
chicken
drumsticks.
Personally,
apart
from
fresh
tandoori
chicken
pieces,
I
would
have
preferred
2
drumsticks
and
2
thighs
(oberschenckel).
The
4€
naan
was
not
worth
the
price
-
maybe
I
should
have
requested
a
garlic
butter
naan.
Done
right,
this
establishment
has
a
4-5
potential,
yet
as
it
stands
from
what
I
was
served,
a
solid
3
stars
from
me.
My
tip,
order
curries
and
not
tandoori/grill
meats.
