Recommended by host to come here. Waiter spoke English. Awesome beef and local green herb sauce. Lovely ambience and friendly people. Reasonable prices as well.

Very nice and typical restaurant in the old town of Dreieich (also the old town is really nice). Food is prepared "fresh" so you have to wait some time to get your order, but it's really worth waiting. Also the waiters are very nice. They wellcome you with a smile, explain you the menu, give suggestions. I warmly recommend this restaurant!

Top food and friendly staff

The Alte Burg is the oldest applewine bar in the world and it continues to delight. It serves brilliant classic Hessian and German cuisine. It gets very busy, so book ahead or get their early.

No Visa or mastercard payment! Only EC card... Smoking at the the tables right beside others eating. If you are ok with this, then there is ok food and quick serving.
