Not recommendable. I didn't take anything positive away from this hospital. To even get in there, you must have tried to kill yourself. If you want real help, go somewhere else. I can't say anything bad about the nurses, but the doctors are not good. They tried pointless tablets on me without informing me about it. I suffered extremely from its side effects and only felt worse. Despite several calls for help, I was not heard. I should just endure it... (until it's probably too late). Plus, none of the doctors had any idea what the other was doing. The communication between them left a lot to be desired, every time I had to say the same thing again and I had the feeling that they didn't know what the right thing was. For example, I was told that anyone can easily say they have... that I first needed a diagnosis. You can't even be admitted there without a diagnosis. I simply wasn't taken seriously at all because my illness wasn't visible. Relatives were not included at all, even though I wished they were. In the end I was left without anything, even though I wasn't feeling any better and I was still sick. All of my tablets were stopped and the same thing started again. Completely pointless.

Absolute quacks, both the senior doctor and the doctor. We were denied the correct medication we needed, and instead we tried a range of antidepressants, which had extreme side effects, didn't work and only made everything worse. The right medication was still not prescribed because it is said to be so addictive. Every cigarette and every beer is significantly more addictive and significantly more harmful.

Hi first, In my opinion, the staff is absolutely inadequate. That was the first psychiatric hospital where I was taken away instead of being helped. (even though everything started very promisingly) I was presented with a fait accompli. Absolutely not recommended. Of course, not everything is bad, But I didn't feel like I was in good hands there, and that was confirmed to me again privately by former people. Even though it was an absolute disappointment, my life outside goes on happily. I will never ever go there again. The 1 star is already too much in my opinion.

Scary place. You definitely won't get healthy here. Find another clinic or try to solve the problems on your own. Both are better options than staying here. The horror I experienced there in such a short space of time is indescribable.

I have never written a negative review. But the way I was treated there at the admission appointment is the last thing. This is inhumane. Anyone who didn't want to kill themselves before wants to now!

I was on ward C30 for knee surgery in September 2023 and I felt very comfortable. Many thanks to the entire team, especially the nursing staff, who looked after me well during the four days of my stay.

Unfreundliches Personal und lange Wartezeiten für nix

Initially, against my will, I spent a week in station B 82. The wonderful doctor listened to me better than I did and I am very grateful to her for that. It was only through her energetic intervention that I was finally able to really relax and rethink my attitude. The nurses and carers are all amazing. I felt really well mothered and was put on the right path to being more careful with myself in the future. So what was initially a reluctant stay turned into a great time. Thanks so much!

Nimmt Beschwerden nicht ernst, anderes Krankenhaus stellte richtige Diagnose, Weisen Sie sich doch selber wo ein.

Very unprofessional and lazy staff. During my therapy, they sat in their supervision room the whole time with the door closed and played on their cell phones or talked to each other. If you ever had a concern, most employees immediately seemed annoyed. The senior doctors also seem perplexed and don't know what to do with the patients. You can either watch TV in the common room all day or sit in your room and stare at the wall. The whole thing is very reminiscent of prison and the so-called therapy seems more like a punishment. I strongly recommend that anyone who wants to undergo therapy for mental illness NOT do so at the Friedrichstadt Hospital.

I have been receiving treatment here for over 3 years and am more than satisfied. I couldn't ask for a better team. Thanks to the good team and my psychologist (Ms. Burgkhardt) I have become so much more stable... I am so incredibly grateful that I put myself in the hands of this team.!!

I find the staff very rude and the senior doctor too. If you need it you will be turned away and ignored
