Nice clean room. Tram station within walking distance. Good selection on breakfast

I booked the hotel through booking.com and asked if I could check in 1 hour early but they didn't answer. The check in itself was easy, let's say it was a kind of self check in because the receptionist is just guiding you to do it yourself. The hotel is in vintage style renovated. The room had an inner door to the next room. If you are in 2 couples then it is maybe ok but in my case that was weird even though the door was locked. There was no shelf and fridge in the room. All lights were on the walls and the room itself was quite dark. The hotel's location was not so bad, close to the end of Dresden Neustatd neighbourhood. There is no close train station but there is a tram and bus stations nearby. With tram number 7 and 8 you can reach the old and touristic part of the city and also the main train station.

Short: Not recommended because not good enough today and wrong approach to treat customers! Long: -room was left dirty -> not acceptable! -no Hotel Room Service until it was explicitly requested. Then recognized that the hotel wants to save cleaning costs by cleaning only every three days with justification of climate friendly. But the saved costs were not given back to the customer (lowering price) but obviously used for capitalistic revenue increase -> definitely the wrong approach. -Check-in also to be done by customer himself. Another way to save costs without providing the benefit of saved costs to the customer -> wrong approach. -not possible to pay cash. But cash is an official payment -> absolutely not acceptable! -unfriendly receptionist when asking for an envelope for the bill -> need to be improved. -all in all: there are hotels with better service and business ethics in the area.

The music themed design is original but the maintenance and service lacking. The area around the hotel is in need of repair, not nice to walk. The hotel does not clean the rooms, empty the tiny trashcan or replace towels on a daily basis, normally only for the next guest. The hallways are also quite dirty. The breakfast is nothing special and empty items on the buffet do not seem to get refilled. One of the two lifts was out of service in a way that you could no longer call a lift to the garage and did not get fixed during our stay. Reception was nice but not always staffed.

The hotel is well located, easily accessible by a car even on a traffic jam. You can park your car at an inside (15€) / outise (12€) car-park. The city centre can be easily reached by a tram. Rooms are cosy, night bar offers good refreshment after your Christmas-market-tour, and the rich breakfast makes you ready for a next day in Dresden. The hotel seems to be kids friendly, the staff is great.

Awesome idea, great atmosphere, excellent breakfast, perfect service, good location (tram station in 2 min, road to city center +12 min). I really like this hotel, my wife and daughter want to stay there longer :)

I stayed there for two nights. Hotel was booked from my company. It is very calm and peaceful even though there were people but still it was very calm 😅. It is in the center of neustadt Dresden. Rooms were clean unfortunately i could not took pics for room but it was decently arranged. The only thing i dont like was the lamp light i mean if u are a person who sleep with a little bit light then u most probably not going to like this room because light of lamp was too much. Even though there was a beautiful light coming beneath the bed. Washroom was quite nice good. Food was good.

A very good experience, i like the style of this structure, a warming welcome and kind and professional staff. The room was ok, breakfast was almost great, i would add also fresh croissants. I would reccomend this structure.

Very nice and musical hotel. In each corner you can find an instrument or other issue connected to the music. It's beautiful.

The photos are way better than it really is. The location is 2 stations with the tram from Neustadt but in the middle of nowhere. The decoration is kind of kitsch with the fake piano, printed walls and cheap furniture. The rooms are not welcoming at all, there is no water, no shampoo or shower gel and not even a telephone to talk to the reception. The parking costs 12 euro per day. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place.
