Borowski is in a very central spot, has a view on one of the crowded streets of Dresden. We wanted to have breakfast, the service was fine, took the order pretty quickly and we didn't wait that much. Now regarding the food, it was fine, it wasn't bad or anything but it also wasn't great, it didn't feel fresh though! The breakfast was expensive ( 2 small portions of eggs and 2 drinks + bread cost us 23 euros). Conclusion: Borowski is fine, but there are many better options with cheaper prices in the area in my humble opinion.

Open all day, friendly, quick and good service and reasonably priced food and drinks. Just had breakfast there in transit at the nearby Dresden Hbf.

Quite a nice atmosphere and very good location. The balcony is the best place overlooking the Prager strasse. Food is good but basic options. The service is friendly and professional. Can recommend it for Dresden city center as the service is much better than many other equivalent places.

I was very happy when I finally found the cottage cheese pancakes (syrniki) in Germany. But apparently the cook was joking or expected that I would not distinguish the taste of cottage cheese from potatoes. The waiter confirmed that this was a dish from the menu, but there was definitely no cottage cheese.

The last time I was here, we ended up paying about 16€ for 2 hot chocolates, a piece of 'chocolate cake' and ice-cream. I had a white hot chocolate which tasted like warm milk with lots of sugar, a few drops of butter vanilla oil and whipped cream. The chocolate cake tasted like the old, dry cakes you can find in packages at the supermarket. I guess the only positive things I can say are that the service was good and the cafe itself is nice.

Got my salad with extra stones. Apart from that the food is average for higher then average price. Maybe the place is for sweets only

The lunch dishes that my partner and I ordered were exquisite, and the view over the street was nice accompaniment to our mealtime. The servers were very kind, and prompt, and the cakes were great for dessert. Wish it was closer to home!

Really tasty meal, especially schnitzel with white asparagus and strudel is better than anywhere in Prague (and that‘s kinda sad). Awesome rhubarb aperol and very comfortable interior with terrace. And as a cherry on the cake the prices are very favourable.
