They said come to Germany, it’s a very open minded country and then you find the website of IKEA completely in German without the possibility of having ANYTHING translated. They should not complain when they said Germany is still in the past or when someone complain about their market not be so developed like the one in west Europe, even France has ikea in English, even Czech republic has it in English!!!!! the right welcome for every foreigner. It’s like asking for German ID card to be able to buy but maybe they forgot that they are in Europe. 2022? That’s not the feeling here

The fact that there were few people, so the sellers were not very willing to help and pretended that I was bothering them. Otherwise, the restaurant and the grocery store are good.

This place has always amazed us with its creative and innovative ideas .. Specially living in germany where we have matchbox size tiny homes they have the best of the ideas to make it look nice n fully functional .. from storage to decor everybody has something or the other that wud fit into their homes .. best furniture outlet by far But I didnt give it a 5 star is b'coz the assembling of the items sometimes gets a lil tedious.

Not all IKEA stores are the same. When comparing this one to the one in Calgary, the Dresden IKEA appears to be better organized and cleaner, and the staff is very helpful.

IKEA is a Dutch-based, Swedish multinational business that creates and markets ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances, decor, home accessories, and a variety of other products and services. This gigantic outlet is located just beside the Elbe Park. The shop is very easily accessible for all and the location is convenient to carry whatever you want to carry and where ever you want to take. It has all the modern facilities for shopping all the items. The shop itself will guide everything you need also there are many friendly people who will also help in case of any issues. All the sections are well organized and displayed. People can order online and pick up here or they can ask for home delivery depending on the available and location. About the Products design they say it, "Democratic Design is at the heart of our products at IKEA, mapping out the journey they take from idea to finished product. Here, you’ll find stories and snapshots of the process – from the drawing board to the factory floors – as told and shared by the people that guide it". About their Innovation and Technology " IKEA is built on a culture of entrepreneurship and is known for being an innovative challenger and thinking differently. To renew and improve is in our core values. The innovation approach has its starting point in the IKEA vision – to create a better everyday life for the many people. Find out more about our innovations and the people behind them". And their commitment is to inspire and enable more than 1 billion people to live a better everyday life within the boundaries of the planet. Read here to learn about the initiatives, innovations and movements that will help us achieve our sustainability goals for 2030.

In comparison with other IKEA market in Prague is this one so weak. Too many components are not available. We have to buy them at Amazon. Although it was bought at Amazon, the package was originally packed by IKEA. They need better management here.

Depending on the items sold, can be good or can be bad (such as a table to be placed in front of the sofa - with legs made from cardboard fibers). Also, for people living in Czechia, it is worth comparing the prices there and in Germany. Sometimes the price of the return trip by car will be covered by the savings made in Germany...

IKEA is enormously successful for a good reason. Affordable, stylish with the atmosphere of aspiration. You really cannot fault the model. Paying tax and their workers a fair wage? I hope so.

Weekends are very crowded, however weekdays are ok. Selection is great for anything your house or office might need.

Way too many people around christmas time. Mix of unfriendly/rude and friendly employees.

Don't ever ask for delivery service with these people. Not only is very expensive, but also the window time is from 7 AM to 9 PM. There is no way of knowing where your order is exactly, so you just have to wait the whole day at home. At 5pm we received an email that the order was in the way. It's been 3 hours and hasn't arrived yet, so I can only assume that they left the shop to make all deliveries in whole Dresden at that time. Not worth a penny. This is the last time we do this.
