First of all, it's a stylish restaurant. And I have to mention the service lady, she's kind and friendly. But unfortunately I had bad experience here which just triggered me the whole evening. Everything was quite good until we paid and started to leave. Since it's a "self-service-online-order&pay" system,I paid on my phone by Alipay as it's one of their options. But when we were about to leave, the staff stoped us and asked us if we had paid. I showed them "transaction-successfully receipt", and there was a male staff saying we need to pay again just because he hasn't receive the money. I refused to pay AGAIN since it showed "transaction-successfully" on my phone. Afterwards, he talked with me with the critical voice as if he thought we wanted to run away from the bill. I tried to explain and prove while he insisted to ask me to pay again or he called the police. Unfortunately I only had 6% battery on my phone and I had to ask if other customers if they have iPhone chargers otherwise I couldn't prove myself when the police came. In the end the police suggested me pay them again first, if I don't get refund by Alipay, I could come here again for the refund. We agreed,as there is no need to get myself a lawyer for justice just because of 10euro. And It took me literally the whole evening trying to contact with Alipay's service and get the refund back. According to them, their explanation was: the transaction was successful, and the money was paid. But Alipay was just a "third-party service", especially it's not as international as Applepay, so It took 1-2 days for the money to the merchant's. So here is my point: as a customer, I did everything right. I tried to order online at their system, I paid with the methods they offered, I even tried to leave tips. BUT once there was a problem, it's always customer's fault. I NEED to be hosted there waiting until the police come. I NEED to spending my time to contact Alipay even though they offer this payment method. The most important thing is that, I NEED to suffer the judgement that they thought I didn't pay. But the fact is, YOU as the restaurant, YOU are the partner of Alipay. If my transaction was successfully and you didn't get the money, It's YOUR problem with Alipay, NOT MINE. And as I was told It's not the first time the restaurant have problem with Alipay, then I would SUGGEST this staff , if you have problems with it, just LEARN IT or simply don't let people pay with it. Don't try to throw the problems and troubles to the customers, we don't owe you anything. Still I would say, I feel triggered today and I'm not "proud" of writing this down as the restaurant has lovely vibes and the service lady is nice and she even tried to pay it personally with her salary and asked us to give her back once we received the refund. Of course we couldn't let her do it, but on the other hand, if the other staff could be as gentle as her, it could lead to a different situation that no one get triggered no one called police. But instead he's just rude : (

I love the design and the phone service was nice. The food was amazing and the ice creams presentation blew my mind. I would highly recommend checking it out :)

I had a very good dinner here on my first night in Dresden. I was happy to see a restaurant with multiple vegetarian options. My server was very nice and helpful in explaining the ordering process. The inside of the restaurant is colorful, funky, and fun, plus they have outdoor tables with a beautiful view of the Frauenkirche. Food was delicious as well. Sehr lecker!

The place is very beautiful! The atmosphere is very welcoming and charming. The staff were friendly and their service was on point. It was my first time trying Dutch pancakes and they tasted extremely good and were very filling. I highly recommend it.

This is a strange place, this may not be for some. We thought it was great. It has savoury and sweet pancakes. Very delicious. Staff giving out tasters outside which enticed us, very friendly people.

It's way too important for me to be relaxed and get what I pay for, hence I cannot really recommend the place. If you go, pay extra attention to that or just order something simple P. S. As a response to the answer by the restaurant - yes, the whipped cream was added and it wasn't an issue, but I can't agree on the other point. If there is a meal with bacon and you can add extra smoked pork belly to it, then the argument that smoked pork belly is really bacon doesn't make any sense - why use two different terms if it was the same thing? Google images also show something entirely different when searching for "smoked pork belly", try it yourself. Regardless, this is a good indication of disadvantages of the ordering system employed at the place. Talking to a human, no confusion of such kind (likely caused by a mistranslation in the English menu) would happen. Overall, we left the restaurant unsatisfied and I cannot recommend it in good consciousness to others given that I would not come back there myself.

This place is visually amazing. I do wish I had ordered more on the sweet side than the savory but still an interesting place to visit. Definitely recommend trying this place.

Very interesting and unique menu. Atmosphere possibly a bit garish and bright but it's meant to be wacky and fun so can't really complain. There is no physical menu so if you don't have a mobile phone to use your table qr code and view the menu and place your order etc. it's difficult. We had an elderly person with us, who almost walked out immediately when she realised. I think if they could provide physical menus upon request that might be better. Even those who aren't technologically challenged might prefer to view the menu in a clearer form. It is a hassle on the website, requiring too many clicks with insufficient information, although the ordering and paying works well.

We were debating whether to go in to this restaurant, not quite sure knowing what it offered. A very friendly young lady came out with one of their French toast pancakes. Done deal! A delightful breakfast, a cheery atmosphere, friendly server and excellent food.

It was the most colorful, cheerful, user friendly place in Dresden for us. The staff are nice and helpful, and they made sure things are okay. The decoration is very cheerful and food was delicious. The ordering system was a bit confusing but it all happened through a web app which was really nice. Great job guys !

Loved the restaurant and the atmosphere here! The server was super friendly and my vegetarian Pfannkuchen breakfast was bomb! Definitely take advantage of the breakfast deals here that cost 13€ for coffee, juice and a pancake!

Extremely nice waiters, quite quick delivery to the table, all in all very good service but little bit too funky for my taste, everything is super colorful, it's a theme, it's funny, but it's but much for sitting there for a while, in my opinion. The food is good and you can order via your phone which was bit complicated at the start but works quite well.

Mal was neues & buntes in Dresden. Die Speisen bestellt man bequem mit dem Smartphone. Bilder der Gerichte zur Veranschaulichung sind auch auf der digitalen Speisekarte zu finden, was die Entscheidung wesentlich leichter macht. Die Bedingung ist freundlich und flink. Unsere Gerichte waren sehr lecker und der Teig fluffig und wir sind satt geworden. Man kann zwischen 3 verschiedenen Teigsorten bei Bestellung wählen und die Produkte machen weitestgehend einen nachhaltigen und regionalen Eindruck. Wir waren zufrieden mit unserem kurzen Besuch.

Its very nice and modern place to visit! You can order the food/ drinks and settle your bill all via your phone. The atmosphere is very cozy, vibrant and unique. Kok van KOK is one of my favorite places in Dresden
