Love fishing for stocked Rainbow Trouts in this lake! Those Rainbow Trout pics I shared here are just some of them that I caught from this lake. So, watch out for the seasonal openings of Trouts fishing around April and October months every year! and always buy your fishing license & Trout Stamp to support these stockings and remember that the Forest Preserve Officers always check on your fishing license and trout stamp.

I visited this forest preserve today as part of my 2017 Summer Forest Preserve Adventures. What a fantastic place! The lakes are beautiful and the trails are great. My dog had a blast and is currently passed out on the couch after a great day. Despite beautiful weather the park and trails were quiet which is a great escape from city life. I highly recommend stopping by thus forest preserve if you are in the area.

Nice, open area. No frills, just dirt and grass. In the end, I doubt that the dogs care! Worth stopping by.
