Came here with a couple of friends to drink. Beautiful rooftop bar with heating and comfortable seating. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Prices are high but the drinks were great. The vibe and atmosphere here was great. Definitely recommend if nearby.

We were there today for brunch to celebrate my partner’s birthday. There were 11 of us. The food was great and the staff who served us was exceptionally skilled and very friendly. We weren’t able to get her name, but she did a very commendable job. Thank you.

I recently visited your restaurant and had a great experience. The ambiance was fantastic, and the waitresses were lovely and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the tempura prawns for starters and the creamy mash for sides. The rooftop location on the 5th floor provided a breathtaking view of Dublin, and the swings at the elevator were a thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. However, I would like to suggest that customers should book a table well in advance, especially on weekends, as I found it difficult to secure a reservation.

We had 2 separate brunch here during our visit in Dublin as our hotel suits directly opposite The Dean. Sophie's is on the top floor. Reservation is recommended if we wish to get a window table in the restaurant section, and walk in is accepted for the other side which is the rooftop area. Various types of food on offer, burger pizza and chicken Caesar salad etc. Service charge is not applied by the restaurant but we added 10% on the bill. Good thing to know that the wait staffs get them.

Wow. What a fantastic place. We enjoyed it so much that having visited for dinner we returned the next day for lunch. Superb venue, really striking with amazing views. Delicious food and friendly service. Will definitely return next time I am in Dublin.

Great views, although the food is not the best in the area. The potatoes were almost raw and they tried to add some flavour adding way too much onion to them. Great place for drinks, but the eggs are not worth it

We made the reservation a few days in advance to sit outside, decided to go a little earlier to warm up at The Dean bar and then go up to the restaurant. when I went up I was amazed by the decor, the incredible view that the restaurant has, the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, the waitress was very attentive and polite when asking to change our table so we could dine inside enjoying the view. Authorial drinks are amazing starters and main dishes too. all the staff very nice. I highly recommend and plan to return many times.

Excellent spot for Sunday brunch. It’s glass from three sides so expect a nice view of Dublin. Food is simple but delicious. We liked eggs Benedict and burger the best. Super friendly stuff!

Worth the visit. Lovely to see the panoramic views with the sun setting. Food seems good. Only had a pizza as was obliged due to not being resident. Drinks were fab! They were very accommodating and gave us a great seat. I feel I need to say I don't tend to give five stars, others seem to easily, it just needs to be something VERY special for me to do this, would be giving four and a half for sure if I could

An excellent place with rooftop view. It is situated on the roof top of a hotel. There was outstanding service. Servers were able to remember who ordered what, even though we played some musical chairs! Very impressive. Pizza oven was good. Kitchen was accomodating for dietary requirements.

Always best to get a reservation, but they were kind enough to let us sit at the bar. We ordered some cocktails which were so good and cheesecake for dessert. Love the ambiance and their pizza is delicious. Definitely coming back!

Very good view in the city of Dublin. Place was located in level 5 which can see stunning views especially there's still light! I ordered Panfried Hake with white beans which is extremely good. The sauce with bean are really tasty. Fish and beans both are fresh and I also ordered some cocktails. Staff were super friendly and helpful. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Good part: The food was very tasty with nice flavor. Will recommend the chicken pasta. My photo didn't show properly but Pizza looked really yummy. I really enjoy the coffee too. The staffs were very friendly. Handy to have a hanger for coats beside the table. My friend ordered non achoholic cocktail and she thought the size of the drink was a bit too small. We were also laughing when the peanut browny sundae was served in an IKEA bowl. The view wasn't great as nothing fancy to see at night. The table was very sticky too.

Sophie’s Rooftop Restaurant is located on the top floor of The Dean hotel. The views and vibes are great for a night out with family and friends. It does get busy so I recommend making a reservation. There’s a pizza oven so please try the pizza.

The rigatoni and pizza were amazing and our waitress was so lovely. The brownie dessert was a 1000/10, whoever made it deserves a raise and a Michelin star. Loved this place!

Famous for "swing gate" it's nice to see the swings still exist. This is a classy upmarket place for food or cocktails. Beautiful views in every direction. The food is very high quality too. Will return soon.

Delighted that a 5th floor restaurant in Dublin gives you rooftop views of the city. Really impressed by the food, cocktails are expensive but the wine and beer is reasonable. The pizza and burger were excellent, as were the chips. The location and space is just beautiful. Can't wait to go back but reservations are key - we were walk-ins but we got lucky.

I booked for breakfast but knew I’d be late so I moved the time to lunch - they were flexible to change it. The food was alright but the service was decent and the place was quite pretty for sure - a lot of light was coming in through the windows. I’d come back for the brunch/dinner but not the lunch!

Stunning bar with incredible 360 views of Dublin and the beautiful surrounding scenery. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food fresh and tasty- so many delicious things on the menu to choose from! Will definitely return when next visiting Dublin!

Had a great time here. Went for brunch and the poached eggs did not disappoint. Certainly one of the best I've had! It was a sunny day and so the terrace was gorgeous. French toast was nice but could have done with more cinnamon and caramelized banana was not caramelised. Mocktails were nice - we tried them all and Amour Francais was my favorite.

I had dinner with a friend without needing to book beforehand, which I didn’t expect to! Not only the views were top-notch but also the food. I opted for a pizza and some fries to share, whilst my friend preferred the duck. Later on, she continued and ordered another pizza too. Everything was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the staff were specially helpful, patient and friendly. We were able to stay indoors as they are accepting now negative covid test results or vaccine certification. Can’t wait to come back!

Went for dinner with friends here, place is buzzing! It has a nice ambience, not too quite but not too loud as well. It has nice views of the city, too! Food was great!! It’s a bit on the pricey side but consistent with a lot of similar food places in Dublin. Staff is friendly and great, too! Would come back, for sure.

Everyone has been recommending Sophie's for food and views so my expectations have been really really high! I have been here with a few colleagues and everyone was very happy with their food & drinks, though I regret to say that my first drink wasn't the correct one (Rose Sprizz instead of the ordered Aperol Sprizz) and my Cajun Chicken Burger & Vegetables haven't been really hot when being served. Taste-wise it was ok, but not as extraordinary as I probably was (over-) expecting it with all the talk about the place; but that could also just be down to my choice of food. So I will be back for some prawns 😉. Pictures are Tempura Prawns, Cajun Chicken Burger, Seabass, Chocolate Delice

Tried Sophie’s for the first time and really enjoyed it. The view is great, the staff are friendly, and the food’s pretty tasty. Wasn’t keen on the 🍷 and the area tends to get quite noisy, but it’s well worth a visit and overall we had a great time. Great shout for a night out or for a party. 👌🏼

A bit of a disappointment towards the end as we felt rushed and not great service. At the beginning the service was great, really attentive and polite, towards the end as it got busier it just got quite bad. Took 20 mins to get the bill and pay. I would say the food is overpriced, we had a bottle of wine (tap) which was nice. But just too expensive. Lovely views. We had a pizza each, starter to share and a bottle of wine €82!! The pizza toppings were also poor - hardly any on them. Pizza €16! Maybe just go for the views and a drink.

One of the best features about this place are the staff 👌 So friendly and great service. Food was nice we sat in for a lunch menu I had a pizza because as you walk in the pizza oven is at the door and my taste buds were salivating when I saw one come fresh out the oven. Cocktails are also amazing

  • 4/5 alicia d. 2 years ago on Google
Food was spectacular but the service could have been more attentive as there were several times we were left without drinks and were left waiting to order dessert despite it not being an overly busy time and other tables in our area were being attended to. Overall a good experience with the food and atmosphere but definitely would have had a more positive experience with more attention from the staff.

Great experience for brunch, especially for Full Irish breakfast. Having a table outside can have a good view to spend time on Saturday morning.

Good food and good service, the restaurant is very beautiful and the staff are all very friendly. It is rather expensive but it's worth it for special occasions. We went for my partners Graduation and were all very happy.

Left quite some time to be seated, the man you "greeted" us was rude and seated us on top of another couple despite the restaurant being mainly empty. (Clearly not worried about COVID). Food was sub-par for it's price. Overall extremely disappointing and overpriced. Won't be going back.

  • 5/5 Angel S. 1 year ago on Google
Everything was great! Service was very attentive and I only need to tell them once that it's my partner's birthday so I asked for a candle, they gave him a plate of dessert with it. We had a great night. Food was great too. Will definitely come back.

Came here with colleagues for lunch on a Friday. We sat outside on the rooftop. 5 stars for environment especially in this area on a sunny afternoon and 3.5 stars for the Margherita pizza I ordered. Other food might be better but have to try before I can say anything else. It took about 30 minutes for us to have the food on the table. Glad it was Friday and no meetings scheduled around that time.

It's good, and kitchen was surprisingly nice. But for me it's still Irish food) Don't get it offensive, it's just how it's. The most men from another tables ordered pizza, so probably they serve good pizza. Preferably, I don't like such expensive restaurants, but if you want to have a good date, it's nice, but don't expect it will be very quiet, because could be busy. Not for the romantics)

  • 5/5 Mary J. 1 year ago on Google
We didn't eat there so can't comment, however we sat on the roof top and had a cocktail. The view was cute but you can't see as much as I thought you would be able to from the side we sat, I think from the restaurant they're much better. . Nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Also had swings as you leave the lift which are apparently popular for people who love Instagram stuff.
