    I had a referral letter for a scan from my GP. I did not receive a report about my scan or the actual scan. My GP did also not receive a report about my scan - not even after 7 days. So I called Charter Medical a few times. I was constantly told to call the Mater GDPR office to get my report. Ridiculous!! I already provided consent to the scan and also for it to be released to my GP - I came with a referral letter. And was now told to provide proof of identification and consent to receive the report about my scan in writing! I was informed that it can take up to a month to receive the report! After +20 phone calls, emails and the GP also calling and writing, the report was finally released. I cannot recommend this clinic in general or if you need a quick turn-around.

    I wish I could recommend Charter Medical, as the doctor for my consultation was very nice and explained things well. However, the staff at the front desk are completely letting Charter Medical and their patients down. Two of my appointments with the Women’s Health Clinic were cancelled by them and at no more than a day's notice. One of the reasons was 'We shouldn't have booked you in on that day'. Even transferring my calls was an issue, and the system hung up on me a number of times. Please fix your phone system, revise your appointment confirmation procedure (calling a patient once just a day in advance, and not leaving a voicemail if you don't get through, is not good enough), and figure out how to manage your time properly. Decided to go elsewhere for treatment in the end.

    Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. The lack of communication is barely believable. Received no response to my original email and had to call them. The lady said they had received my email and said they would call me back in a number of days with an appointment for the following week. I waited well over a week but heard nothing from them. Sent a second email pleading for information in regards to the appointment they had promised me. Heard nothing back. Needless to say I was forced to take my business elsewhere.

    I don’t understand some of these negative reviews. They was nothing but accommodating to me when I damaged my leg. Very quick turnaround as well from seeing the doctor, to my X-ray to the results. I was done within 90 mins which is unbelievable when thinking how long I would have had to wait in an A&E. Thanks to all the team.

    Sorry I couldn't find negative stars. I was shocked how they got 3 stars. The are not even a service not medical service. I have been calling them for days and the use the recording machine all the time. Don't even return the call. How they can be medically reliable?!!!

    I received this SMS 'Referral received for Appt at Alliance Medical Smithfield. We are currently experiencing high demand. Staff will contact you to arrange Appt within 10-14 working days' One month waiting and nothing. Tried to call many times, they ask to wait until somebody answers then nothing... They ask to leave a message and they will call back, of course they never did. This is a just unbelievable, unacceptable and a shame

    Worst place ever. The lady didn't want to scan me cause gp sent wrong info. It was wrongly written that I had my ovaries removed. I told her I didn't know that cause I had a csection with generalanesthesia. She didn't want to scan me insisting that it was not her problem! So for 10 minutes I was in shock cause I didn't know if I had my ovaries or not. Shocking and rude

    I never recommend this place. Recently dealt with them, and the experience was so bad. My friend is not speaking English. So I contacted them for a test. They promised to do it for two days, but the test result did not come even after seven days. After we got the result, we tried to approach them for advice, but the receptionist was not allowed us. She was so rude. She said we needed to wear a mask. We don't have a mask, so We requested one from reception. "She through a mask as " very disrespectful and No manners towards customers. After, she asked to make another appointment to see the nurse to discuss our test results. We find it strange because we spent 600 euros and got the test through a proper appointment. But the receptionist was unhelpful. Finally, we call them directly. But they don't allow us to go inside and see the nurse. One staff came outside and said we need to consult with Your GP. Because she already sends us an email with advice. But I showed her the email, and there was nothing. I showed her, but she said you needed to contact her GP. So they don't have an answer to our question I have a really bad experience, and too time-consuming. I won't recommend this place, and they are not friendly or no professionalism

    The health screen is overpriced. In the advert it was described as a full body screen. In reality it was blood work, ECG and a few mins with a doctor. My GP was discusted at what I paid for this and insisted I should have came to him first.

    After months of waiting they cancel appointment in 1 day because of some policies that they don't publish. They refer to T&C, but T&C published on their web-site don't align with what they say by phone. Avoid.

    do not go here! This is not as a patient but someone trying to see a patient, firstly my girlfriend was left sitting for 3 hours by herself and was not given water when she asked for it. When I arrived I was told I could not bring her the food and water I had bought her, and that since i was not a patient I wasn’t allowed on the premises!! Regardless of the quality of care, the stress this caused her outweighs it!

    Great for quick xray.Thats about it.Got xray and given all clear.was still getting pains weeks later so asked them to double check xray which they wouldn't,told me go back my doctor.Paid another 60 euro for doctor and got another xray elsewhere.They told me straight away I had a small fracture on my ankle.Stay well clear,only want ur money

    Needed a CT scan and was accommodated very quickly and efficiently. Found the staff from the reception area through to the procedure area extremely pleasant and caring and the results were sent to my doctor again very quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend this centre.

    Fell over my own foot !!! 8 days ago... was still in bruised n in pain so hobbled along to Charter Medical this am .. have to say.. EXCELLENT professional treatment, by ALL staff from doorman at reception to receptionist, xray tech n doctor. In an out in 90 minutes ! Could not fault service.. many thanks P.s. broken bone in foot ... boot on n moving around again in relative comfort !

    From the initial phone conversations with Kayley and Caroline to the meeting with Ruth who tested everything that needed testing and then the consultation with Dr. Keith Murray who gave me the most sensible and down to earth advice which left me feeling 1000% better when I was leaving. Such a pity that there is not a screening service closer to those of us who live in the Midlands.
