As other reviewers have said the staff are extremely unfriendly. They have no respect for a queuing system - just ignoring some customers giving preference to others. Perhaps they get this attitude from the owner who decides to ignore reviewers who state this fact. Drinks are below average, toilets are filthy. Best spend your money elsewhere where customers are respected.

We occasionally go here and in our view, possibly the best bar for the LGBTQIA+ community in Dublin. Fantastic atmosphere as always and refreshing gin and tonic. I’m still wondering how they managed to get a bottle of Blue Bottle gin from the Channel Islands – the stuff’s hard to find at the moment! I don't understand the 1-star ratings. We've been going here for years and Street 66's been consistently excellent!

The best bar is Dublin! I couldn't recommend it enough! Bar staff are great and the two managers are clearly passionate about this place! I also miss that small girl bartender

🌈 Lovely place to spend some time with your friends or on your own. Fantastic cozy atmosphere, very nice interior. You will enjoy in there in great selection of background music 🎡🎡🎡 sipping very good selection of available beers or well maid cocktails πŸ’ Stuff that will serve you is very friendly and professional. No time to wait to get what you want even in a rush hours. I'm pretty sure you will want to leave some tips coz they really deserve πŸ˜‰πŸŒˆ

Unfortunately, some of the barman , specifically I have noticed 2 of them, girls, are very rude without any f*** reason. And it is something that I have noticed more than one time. Apart from that, I have heard about the same experience from many people around Dublin, saying that "I don't wanna go there because some of them are pretty rude" and they feel a kind of discrimination. Please, find them and train them how to act appropriately towards costumers. Being a good bartender is not about only how fast you serve, but also how polite you are , regardless of how busy you are. Drinks are really nice and with high quality . The music and the DJ are amazing. Cheers 🍻

Great service, amazing wheat beer. Unfortunately open beer garden, allows homeless people to beg money and cigarettes from people, one of them called me a tramp after I refused to give her a cigarette.

I went yesterday with friends and the doorman was disrespectful and didn't let us in. It was so weird because other people we're entering without any problems. He definitely had something against us...

One star because it’s the least I can have. For a community that claims to be all inclusive and all it wants is equality the way we were treated was the complete opposite. My husband and I wanted to hangout have a few drinks and made our way to street 66, apparently from what I was told we looked too β€œStraight” we were kicked out at the door saying there was a party mean while the bar was literally empty with like 7 people inside. Disgusted and don’t recommend you going

My friend and I went to this place to dance and have fun, but unfortunately, the security guy asked us to go away because there were sitting VIP guests who wanted to watch a rugby match. It was a gay bar where people usually go to have fun, dance, and socialize, but these guests ruined the atmosphere. We felt disappointed and decided not to come back to this place anytime soon.

This bar is the best. They have great staff, dogs welcome and treated brilliantly. The current owners have transformed this bar into a fun funky place which is always welcoming. Great beer selection and some of the best gins! If you don't have a friend going in, you will have friends leaving.

Amazing place! I visited with my girlfriend, some lovely people offered us a seat from their reserved tables, because we were just wandering around, no place to sit. I am from Hungary so it was overwhelming that such a good, queer place exists. There was a pride beer, and amazing decoration. I will definitely go back.

Used to be called the Front Longue opened in 1995 back in the 90s it was the in place to be classy Pada , D&G and all that but it was fun and sexy and handsome where there to be seen . I was there in April 2019 now it dark its like something pre stonewall it looked like gay hell and baby jane was running it, its terrible, its like Madonna it does not know what it is an old has been that's been pasted around to many times. What a horror show no not rocky horror show more like post nuclear mad max. If you do go to it check it out bring a flashlight it also looks unclean so have a shower later. I gave it two stars because of the old trip down memory lane but if it was my time it would be zero.

The bouncer/security at the back door tonight was a legend. I lost my ID early in the night, he came and found me and gave it back to me. Absolutely made my night! DJ and Bar staff were also super cool 😎

Wouldn't really rush back. It was harder to get in than through airport security. ID, covid status, name, number etc. etc. The staff aren't trained in understanding that some people are exempt from wearing masks, one girl in particular was a bit cheeky. There are many other options in the area that are more relaxed and won't challenge or embarass customers regarding non-enforceable or pointless covid guidelines.

This was a really fun place. Firstly, the drinks were good and the shamrock cocktail was particularly delicious. The staff were pretty friendly too. The venue was very large, and it had a great vibe. It felt like a safe space. I’d definitely come back here.

My new favourite pub in Dublin. The music volume is just as it should be, not too loud and not too low. The pub is very nicely decorated with very nice lights. They also have board games. Perfect for a night out with friends.

Nice place, good music and cool decor. Disappointed to notice they use store bought large plastic bottles for their mixed drinks. I would expect individual glass bottle mixers would be used, considering they still charge the full price. Also why show club football on the main screen? I could get that in literally any other bar. Edit: take your point on the sports. It's just out of the bottle mixer can taste flat. Staff lovely and everything else was positive. Standard should be a soda gun or glass bottle without having to ask especially.

This place is just perfect. Was here for the first time yesterday and I felt at home instantly. I had a glass of white wine and a grilled ham&cheese sandwich. It was all served at the table and I got mayo and mustard on the side. The service, the friendly bartender and the simple and freshly made sandwich... Nothing less than perfect!

I can’t speak on the people talking about the night crowd but I was there with my friend on a Sunday afternoon and the staff was awesome and friendly. The CUTEST place omg. Highly recommended it in the afternoon for a chill spot for good drinks, good tunes and friendly bartenders.

It was such a quick and amazing experience. The place is amazing itself, but the treatment was even better. Alex, the bartender was amazing since the beginning. He gave me a suggestion for a drink and even helped to charge my phone. Thank you again and I'm definitely coming back before I go. This mate deserves a rise. :)

Like many others posting reviews, my partner and I approached this bar and were asked if we had a reservation. We were sent away by the doorman, but when we walked down the street a short distance and turned around, it was clear to see we were simply being discriminated against as many others were being waived.in with no issues. Disgusting to be honest. No straight bar would prevent gays from entering, but somehow this bar thinks it can turn people away if they don't like the look of.you. I felt discriminated against and treated unfairly, not to mention the doorman was terribly rude. Would not recommend or return to this established.

  • 5/5 Jeanette L. 4 years ago on Google
The friendliest staff! They not only allow pets in but they treat them amazingly and give them treats, take their pix and post them on social media! Love this place.

  • 1/5 Richard G. 5 months ago on Google
We've attempted to get into this venue this evening, well before closing, and were simply asked if we'd been before. When I confirmed that we hadn't, I was told (along with my friend) that we couldn't come in. The bouncer was obstructive and gave absolutely no reason for this. The venue was not evidently full beyond capacity and I don't understand why he chose to behave this way. It's clearly a venue for locals and if you're not fitting the desirable "profile", then you aren't welcome. Avoid and go somewhere else.

Damn Rude I visited on Monday evening hoping for a fun and queer-friendly atmosphere for my last night in Ireland. There was no queue outside so I walked straight in and up to the bar, 3 barstaff there didn't acknowledge me, I waited a minute and looked down the room to see how busy it was, not too bad and I could see free seats so I continued to wait. I noticed a Signing-In Book by the door so I waited by that for another few minutes, still no acknowledgement by anyone, 4 more people came in behind me and waited too. 2 members of staff walked by all of us with no eye contact or "I'll be with you in just a minute". Appalling way to treat people, I left rather than standing there like I was invisible for any longer.
