After
seeing
the
good
reviews
of
this
place,
I
was
profoundly
disappointed.
Firstly
they
tell
you
to
arrive
5
minutes
early
or
they
won't
see
you,
which
is
a
bit
controlling,
but
when
I
arrived,
in
plenty
of
time,
the
door
was
locked
and
there's
no
bell,
and
I
can't
phone
them.
Thankfully
another
patient
came
along
and
phoned
them
and
we
were
let
in,
the
man
who
let
us
in
led
us
up
the
stairs,
didn't
offer
the
option
of
a
lift
and
I
can't
climb
stairs
easily.
There's
no
waiting
area,
and
I
was
told
to
'wait
by
the
hand
sanitizer'
while
the
other
patient
went
in.
I
can't
stand
easily
for
any
length
of
time
and
so
I
sat
on
the
stairs.
But
the
way
the
doctor
treated
me
beggared
belief,
he
was
completely
lacking
in
professionalism,
empathy
or
even
decency,
he
talked
across
me
every
time
I
was
trying
to
explain
myself,
did
a
rough
examination,
poking
at
me
nowhere
near
the
affected
site
and
not
listening,
he
wasted
time
on
irrelevant
examinations
instead
of
the
presenting
problem.
He
almost
jeered
'don't
worry,
you
don't
have
cancer'.
I'm
sure
I
don't
but
as
he
hadn't
examined
the
site
of
the
deep
chronic
pain
which
has
lasted
months,
what
would
he
know?
It
was
a
classic
'you're
a
hypochondriac'
jeer
from
a
doctor
who
wishes
he
was
out
playing
golf.
He
treated
my
background
information
with
total
scorn.
he
was
rude.
And
is
he
a
qualified
doctor?
He
didn't
understand
half
of
what
I
said,
and
talked
over
me
all
the
time.
He
for
no
reason
I
know
and
without
any
discussion,
decided
to
refund
me
and
babbled
about
how
he
wasn't
my
GP,
at
no
point
did
I
consider
a
weekend
emergency
GP
to
be
my
GP
and
God,
I
wouldn't
register
with
him
in
a
million
years,
his
prejudice,
whether
for
my
ethnicity
or
disability,
was
very
open
indeed.
My
money
is
as
good
as
anyone's
and
I
should
be
able
to
access
a
weekend
emergency
doctor
the
same
as
anyone.
After
abruptly
rubbishing
me
and
refunding
me
without
discussion,
he
was
keen
to
throw
me
away
with
a
prescription
for
a
topical
gel
which
was
irrelevant
to
my
condition.
I
was
devastated.
I
even
tried
to
go
to
the
pharmacy
but
ended
up
telling
the
pharmacy
that
this
gel
was
irrelevant.
I
am
vulnerable
and
timid
but
I
was
deeply
upset
and
went
back
to
the
doctor.
The
doctor's
colleague
was
was
understanding
but
the
doctor
remained
rude,
gave
a
shallow
apology
with
no
integrity,
claimed
he
had
examined
me
and
given
his
time,
and
now
at
his
colleague's
prompting
wrote
a
referral
to
the
emergency
department
that
undermined
me
and
made
me
look
lacking
in
credibility,
adding
irrelevancies
about
where
I'd
lived
before
and
the
fact
that
I'd
disengaged
with
a
medical
centre
in
the
past.
Basically
encouraging
the
emergency
department
to
treat
me
without
credibility
as
well.
He
incorrectly
tried
to
change
the
length
of
time
I'd
been
in
pain
from
5
months
to
1
month.
He
was
told
the
correct
length
of
time
and
the
history.
I
have
been
traumatized
by
the
cold
and
hostile
treatment
by
this
doctor,
and
his
sheer
incompetence,
jabbing
around
nowhere
near
the
site
of
the
pain,
talking
over
me
and
ignoring
what
I
said,
hostile,
rude
and
cynical
.
I
have
needed
support
this
evening
to
get
over
this
experience.
Considering
the
high
price
for
this
private
service,
and
the
fact
that
myself
and
my
friends
and
the
church
put
the
money
together
as
an
emergency
as
I
have
been
increasingly
ill,
what
I've
experienced
is
unacceptable.
Refunding
me
doesn't
change
a
thing.
I
should
have
been
treated
the
same
as
any
other
patient,
but
I
have
a
feeling
that
this
doctor
is
not
used
to
minority
groups.
